So I used to ride for about four to five years yeeaaaars ago.
I was forced to quit because of financial reasons. I had always wanted to compete, and never got around to it.
Now I'm dating this guy, and his family owns horses.
Me and his mom are very close and I've been up riding on one of their horses, but not more than a walk or a little trot.I help take care of their horses and kinda horse sit for them when their on vacation. My love for horses and anything to do with them reawakened.
So now I'm looking for lessons.
I would take lessons at the place they're at but honestly. I do not like the owner of the barn who is also the trainer or her barn in general because of safety issues and violations.
I want to compete this time around. I want to get good enough this time to actually do that.
But now here's my issue.
What should I look for in both a trainer and a farm to start at?
I think I may have a place, but there's no boarding there for if I would eventually decide to get my own horse and the trainer does not travel.
If anyone could spare me some tips that would be great. <3
I have no help from my parents because they wont be horse back riding at all.
So I'm kinda stuck. sweatdrop
