Remye was travelling alone, when she heard the clicking voice droning out about an Error 13. Gripping her spear tightly, she rounded the corner and saw it. The creature reached out at her, managing a scratch before she could react. In retaliation, the girl swung her spear sharply, knocking it to the side to get some distance from the creature.
She braced herself for its second attack, baring her teeth. "Come on, then!" She snarled softly. Unlike the others, this one wasted no time, trailing after Remye and waving its claws, clicking obnoxiously as it struck at her. She wondered, briefly, if they were getting more hostile, or if perhaps fighting in a group had meant the others distracted the monsters from attacking her. Regardless, she stabbed forward with her staff, but gained no purchase, instead throwing all of her weight forward and falling to the ground.

When the monster dared to get closer, Remye took advantage of it, whacking it with the blunter end of her spear and then throwing it up into the air, catching it as it spun and stabbing into the monster's monitor again, further cracking the screen. Remye snarled when the creature got close enough to scratch her, and stumbled backward, growling low as she circled the creature, planting distant between herself and the creature carefully.
When she had enough give, she ran forward, shoving the sharp end of her spear into the ground and swinging herself up and over, feet kicking into the monster's monitor and sending them both down. The next attack saw Remye gaining her spear back, yanking it free from the ground and swinging it sharply at the monster. It still managed to scratch at her, before swaying backward. Seeing her in, Remye took advantage of it, throwing the spear and managing to knock it over, the spear clattering to the ground and skidding away from her. She glanced to where it had landed, grimacing, and watched as the monster got up for more.
"Crap."

Having thrown her spear, Remye was left with no alternative except to try and duck past the quickly moving creature before it could get her. She lunged to the side in a fluid motion, grabbing her spear just in time to fend off the monster's attack.
But she was still grounded, and so she used the spear to try and hold it back, bracing all of her weight against keeping the monster off her as it slashed at her. A quick slash to the face left her stinging, but only slightly worse for the wear. She could do no damage but managed to shove the monster off of her with the spear and her own weight, gaining purchase enough to rise to her feet.OOC Name of character: Remye Gnorelan Damage done: 0 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 3/30 Current HP: 10/40 Special ability: Rook's Ambition You can attack two times in a row. 1/1. Having shoved the creature off, Remye pushed herself up quickly, snarling low, and ran at the creature. She stabbed forward with her spear, cracking through the monster's monitor and cutting herself on its claws as she swung the spear up and over her head, sending the monster crashing into the ground.
For a long minute, she stayed there, eyes wide and a growl building in the back of her throat. But it didn't move.

Panting as the feeling of exhilaration left her, Remye yanked her spear out of the creature's monitor and pressed the tip of it against the ground, before throwing it lightly and burying it into the ground. She crouched down, rooting through for the loot, and plucked out a green orb.
Not what she was looking for, but it would do.
Remye collected her loot and her spear, swinging it over her shoulder as she carried on.
