Personality: Quiet and distant. Many don't socialize with Fredrich, finding him too intimidating and straightforward. He's one for few words, but he's actually quite an elegant person to be around; very reliable and helpful when you need him. All in all, he's best described as a tsundere - someone who acts cold and mean but is really just a pushover.
Bio: When Fredrich was seventeen his father died of colon cancer. It was a rough time for him, but he tried to stay strong. His mother did the same, but she couldn't stay strong like her son. Later in the same year she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, where her mind slowly deteriorated. Losing his father was hard, but for his mother to not even recognize him anymore? That was unbearable.
The federal court heard about it shortly after and sent Fredrich's mother to a nursing home, forcing him to live with his Aunt Mia. He only met Mia during Christmas dinners, so he had no personal opinion for her, but she treated him warmly. She was a mother for him and always supported him. There were times when she couldn't come home for a couple days, but Fredrich was fine. With someone as loving and kind as her, he felt he could recover from his loss.
One day, when Fredrich was eighteen, Mia told him her biggest secret. She was an assassin, and no ordinary one. She was the infamous Nightingale - an assassin famous for killing its prey at night and leaving the police only a nightingale feather to go on. Fredrich was stunned. His sweet and kind aunt was a mirthless killer! Alongside that, she wanted him to be her successor! He couldn't possibly accept, and he couldn't possibly say no to his only remaining family. She understood and offered to let him join her and get a feel for it, claiming that it was something one had to work themselves into. Fredrich reluctantly accepted and found himself learning how to work guns and how to aim from so far away. He had to admit, it was cool to be able to work alongside such a famous assassin, and it was even cooler to think that he could be the next in line! But could he really take another life?
Time wasn't as patient as he had hoped. In the middle of an outing one of the targets Mia was assigned had gunmen stationed around. One of the gunmen fired at them, lodging a bullet in Mia's stomach. Frightened, Fredrich shot the man and dragged his bleeding aunt to a safe distance. He watched his aunt die, crying at the thought of being alone again, but she tried to comfort him. She gave him her gloves, telling him to never lose them, and with her dying breath she said that even if he didn't take her place she would always love him.
Years passed and Fredrich, donning black gloves and a long black coat to match, became the new Nightingale. He became a fearsome assassin, skilled just like his aunt. To keep his secret protected, he took a job as a detective and worked specifically on the Nightingale case, making sure the assassin managed to 'escape his grip' everytime.
Stuck in Black Rose Academy, however, Fredrich might just let his defenses down...
