Hearing the calls of hello, Nush came rushing out to confront the creature. He managed to catch it a little off guard, slashing into it nicely. Fayre ran in and tripped, falling flat onto her face. OOC Character name: Fayre (Freya) Damage done: CURRENT HP OF BOSS: Current HP: 40/40 Special ability: Kings Regret: : If you KO, instead of dissipating, you restore yourself to half your existing HP. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Once you have used it to revive, you cannot use any other abilities (weapon, species, special) period for the entire encounter, including any that double HP, etc etc. You can only auto attack after revival. Current weapon equipped: Simple RevengeTARGET: Boss

There was another greeting kitten along with Nush. Tsumi was on her way to back him up but as she was ready to strike she nearly tripped over the newcomer who had fallen on her face. Then there came Tiletk who pretty much popped out of the fog and made a downward slashing motion. It was probably a good idea make sure he wasn't anywhere near getting ready to cut things up.
He didn't seem to be in the mood for being too watchful except for when it concerned Fayre but ... Well.. She fell.

Collecting herself and regaining her balance Tsumi turned her attention to Fayre and Tiletk. At least they were familiar faces though Tsumi would have preferred to stay balanced and on her feet when meeting them. She still, however, shuffled over to make sure that Fayre was okay knocking the greeting kitten away with a clawed swipe. Fayre picked herself up, dusted herself off, and threw her axe at the monster. Her expression looked embarrassed, but grateful for the help. She smiled at Tsumi, and nodded at Tiletk. "I'm okay. One fall's not going to keep me down." Tiletk had given Tsumi a brief smile in greeting before he looked at Fayre, "Better not, that would make me sad."
Being sad was horrible, okay?
Then he lifted his weapon and proceeded to smash the creature into paste again. He'd apparently not lost any of his earlier vigor. Nush noticed that Tsumi had a pair of clawed gauntlets now. Interesting. He observed her for a moment or so, then looked towards the others. There was nothing of particular interest there, so he turned to focus on taking down the kitten that spoke hello. He struck it hard, breaking it apart as it died. With the creature defeated Tsumi gave everyone a quiet form of approval by giving a thumbs up. After her thorough praise she stepped toward the fallen creature to collect her loot.

"You ever notice how.." Fayre stuck her hand in the remains and picked out loot. "When Nush pokes things, they die faster?" She wondered if he was cheating somehow. Clearly that was the only explanation.

Still feeling amiable he just went and picked out his loot.
