βeʃ ʃ ɑ Ϛɑӌs...
Sometimes I just feel like I'm running in circles, I really do. Sure, I've done it partly to myself--mainly in the summer before 7th grade when I was in a major teen funk-depression thing--and I can totally contend to that, but, I'm sooo sick of fighting the battle. I try and when I'm doing great, I just fall off the horse, it's horrible and I know who's to blame. Even when I'm doing great I just slip and I'm tired of it, I really am. I need to lose 50 pounds, seriously. And the little I took off and gained right back after I tore my ACL at the beginning of the summer. I'm just fed up with being overweight, you know? I have a lot going for me and I just feel like my confidence could be heightened to its fullest potential if I took off this weight! Then sometimes my parents knock me off: "Lauren, can you run in and get me a soda?" Do you realize how difficult that is to watch? I always think: Think about the end goal, end goal, end goal--but when am I really going to reach it? I set a date, a few weeks back(beginning of August) that I'd lose my 50 pounds by May 31st, 2013 and I really want to! But sometimes I just feel so GUILTY... Weightwatchers is a tool I've been on and off using and it works at times and I don't crave a lot of the items I used to, such as soda and chips. But man, one bite and it's like bottomless! I know I shouldn't blab but the journal pages only go so far! I cheat about once a week--a fast food trip or a naughty dinner once a week usually the weekends--and it wasn't until last week that I've been really experienced hunger decrease and motivation, I'm sticking with that! Part of my weight gain--and losing interference--is in part with this disorder I have: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It's where you have WAY too much estrogen and a bit too much testosterone competing with each other with ends up knocking off periods and making them highly painful and irregular(like I had a 15 day cycle, no lie)--and it makes weight loss all the more tedious. Now, birth control helps--I take it. This can also lead to cists on my ovaries and blood clots--which I don't have that bad of a case, but, it's still a possibility. 20% of body weight with people who have PCOS is caused by PCOS. Searching for more weight health on Google, but, man, I'm just tired! And I gain weight, due to my disease, where pregnant mothers gain after giving birth and it's so embarrassing! I just want it gone but, somehow, I get chocked up! I'm going to stick to it, I swear, I just want to feel confident in my own skin again! And sorry for complaining and whining but, somehow, it just feels good to get that into the air with people in which I really don't know, rather than cooping it up in my journal. I'm also an extremely independent person and I'm usually on the opposite side of the coin--giving the advice and moral support rather than expressing. To me, I sound whiny--it's not being overly critical, it's just who I am. But, I thought I'd post this anyways. Just UGH. Thanks guys.

After having read this, I might have a few tips that may help. First up, if you run to get someone a soda, get it for them, then leave the area (if you can) or find something else to distract you with it. Another idea is gradually try to get extra exercise when you can. Even something as simple as climbing stairs instead of an elevator can do wonders for you. If you get the urge to cheat, find something to snack on that wont interrupt your dieting, such as carrots or fresh fruit. If you can hold to your diet, find ways to give your self a small reward, say something silly that you enjoy or something. If you decide you want to eat something sweet for reward, then take time to enjoy it, don't just eat it all at once, because then you will feel bad about it. I cant promise this will be the greatest advice out there, but its a few tips that I have learned over the years. Trust me, pregnancy really makes a girl pack on the pounds, and once they are on, its hard to get off, but its worth the effort in the long run. I guess what the best piece of advice I can offer is this: Don't Give Up!

I appreciate that and thank you! The first suggestion is a little off just because I am still only a a permit. sweatdrop LOL--but thank you! And I will keep these things in mind as I ventured forth. I have a goal, I have confidence, and I'm sticking with it! No room for failure this year! (It's my resolution for the upcoming school year.) Lol. I don't even have a permit yet. I go walking everywhere, and pushing a stroller with my daughter in it really helps me to get more of a work out as a result from it. NOT THAT I AM IMPLYING YOU SOULD HAVE A KID JUST FOR THAT REASON!!! Otherwise, you sound like you have everything you need to go for it. Also, during your school year, if they offer classes that let you get extra exercise or workouts, try to sign up for them. They really do pay off in the end!
