Kealpie swished her tail causing a casasde of bubbles to rush to the surface. She was frustrated, again. That pair of azrein she met before was troublesome. That leather winged freak and his masked little cozy who drove her off from her own little waterway made her want to cry. It was a good thing tears did not show up underwater. Her sister would never let her hear the end of this. Of course her sister was little goody two hooves who would have made friends with that land walking freaks. Sick and tired of being alone she decided she would take some time to spend with her sister. Her sister of all souls! The mare drove her nuts but it was better than this loneliness that kept eating at her. The pain and indecision made her scream out. The water distorted the sound but it also forced Kealpie to the surface for a while so she didn’t have to deal with that slight echo that seemed to exist. Only putting her head above the water she didn’t bother to look around. She wasn’t really in a ‘dangerous place’ so there was no need for caution. Her mane covered her eyes like lots of kelp. She took several breaths to try and calm down. She needed something to do or someone to drown. That would take her mind off things.
A small part of her thought that maybe she should take a trip to the edge of the water that wasn’t that far and perhaps sun herself. That small amount of wishful thought was squashed quickly at remembering what creatures dwelled on the land. She was safer and happier in the water even if it was lonely. The water was hers and her sister’s. No filthy land dweller would come and ruin it. They all came in the shallows and then left. Small bits of contact then piece. No land dweller understood the joys of the joys of the depths like her and they never could. All they knew was their trees and leaves and wind. The water was so much simpler and pure.Still to drown a land walker she needed one close by. She ducked her head under once more and began to lazily drift toward the shore, the water could rush but it didn't need to so neither would she.
