Bellatrix sat in the desk chair that was in her office. She had been rolling across the room for a good portion of the day, though now she simply remained in one place, eyes fixed on the ceiling. Her mind was still reeling from the news she had learned the night before. The fact that her daughter, her Millie was a senshi? And not only a senshi…but an eternal senshi? One of the more powerful ones?

The woman sighed heavily, picking the pen up from where it rested in her lap and resuming her unending task of chewing on the cap, brows furrowed. How was she supposed to take this news? The news that at any moment her daughter could be ripped from her? Could be killed by a crazy Negaverse agent, dark mirror senshi or a youma?

It was just too much. Way too much to handle, and honestly, she almost wished she had never found out. Or…maybe if she had found out, she wished that Millie would have told her instead of hearing it from Orin of all people. Orin, that sweet boy who was quickly becoming her daughter’s best friend…the one with the father who worried too much. Well. She had half a mind to talk to Dresden about this one day. Maybe…but then again. Orin had a point. This information could be used against Dresden…or if other people knew…

Ah. Her head was starting to pound from all of this nonsense. Besides…

Bellatrix’s blood ran cold for a moment. How could she out the boy to his father…when his father could very well be part of the Negaverse. Part of the problem. An enemy…

The woman gave yet another frustrated sigh, taking the pen and flinging it to the other side of the room, sliding in her chair until it backed up against the wall, very clearly pouting. How could her Millie have lied to her like that? Why would she do that? She had thought that the bond they shared was so good. So tight-knit and…and just unbreakable…

Though…what if Millicent thought that she was part of the Negaverse.

Thought that she could be her enemy and that she was just protecting herself from it and…

She stood up and pushed her chair to her desk, getting out a blank piece of paper and sitting down. Reaching for her pen, Bellatrix sighed, standing back up and walking to where she had thrown it, nabbing it and heading back to the desk, fully intending to write a long letter to Millie explaining everything.

But…where should she start? How should she start? What was there even to say…?

With a heavy heart Bell scribbled over the paper, then crumpled it up, tossing it neatly into the trash can. No. She had to talk about this to someone first…she had to have a real game plan…then she could talk to Millie about it…

Maybe though…maybe first she needed a drink.
