Impah watches the goddess for a bit, wondering if she should walk up to her. As if reading her mind, the goddess looks up and smiles. Beckoning her closer.
"I'm sorry!" Impah starts, wondering if she interrupted the goddess in her work. She looks at the wires and studies them, what are they.
Suddenly a key is pressed in her hand and she is urged to open a chest. Flushing, she nods before going to the chest, clicking the key in the lock and turning it. Lifting the lid, she peeks in and see's....Nothing.
"Um Goddess?" She blinks, and the Goddess makes displeased sounds.
"Oh." the Goddess is suddenly clenching and unclenching one hand. "A small error. It's okay, I can fix this." Her gaze intensifies, "With your help, I can fix this. Could you fetch me more parts? I stored them in my special labs but it's getting a little cluttered down there. Just look for the chests, they should be inside. I don't need everything it holds, just the heart. That should do the trick. Just the heart. They don't need theirs after all...they didn't quite make it."
Impah nods, taking the scissors before heading off. "Ill be back soon goddess!" And she is gone. Down a path that splits to three doors.
"Oh...I forgot to ask where I should go." Impah stares at the doors, drawn to the one with a pumpkin. "I suppose this one will do!"

The door yields to a hallway, that instantly welcomes the young ghoul in. her body moves forward with a light step. Humming tickles at her ears and for some reason, she imagines pumpkins glowing, smiling at her. It makes her feel happy, it makes her smile. Her hands clasp together as she continues to walk.
It almost feels like she is meeting someone here, that someone has been waiting here for her forever. She doesn't even notice the door closing behind her, too far into the room to really even pay attention.
She steadily follows the path of golden pumpkins, until it stops a very large open field filled with flowers.
"Gorgeous!" Impah says, her body sinking into the flowers and doing her best not to crush them. The humming in her ears continues, a tune she knows. It's warm, it feels like an embrace. But she came here for the goddess and so she gets up, following the flowers till it leads her to a tombstone. How odd.
Leaning over, she looks to read the name. "Here lies Tethys." Odd, It's a name she doesn't understand. As she leans closer, her hand sinks into the dirt and she feels it. The ground is beating. A heart is beating. She see's long silky black hair, and a star pendant.
"Oh, It's yours I have to take!" Impah gently brushes the flowers away, digging down into the ground.....She has blue eyes like her mom. If it wasn't for the bangs, she'd be a spitting image of the reaper. First with her hands, and finally with the scissors. The more she digs, the more the beating thickens and raises, until she uncovers it. It's sad that her mom just left her like this. Nothing but other women's children... Gently, she cups it in her hands...the thick yellow color. And she takes it just as gently, slipping it into the bag for the goddess.
And as she does, she smells the sea. Salty and sweet and it makes her hungry. It makes her yearn. Arms circle around her neck, and she is no longer Impah...
"What do you think Posey?" The woman coos at the baby, looking at her husband who is laying half in the water and half out. "Don't you think Amphitrite is the prettiest little thing?" She brings her head down, rubbing her nose gently along the baby. Posey...The man in the sea rolls his eyes and looks calmly out to the ocean.
"Of course she is the prettiest, she is a union between me and you isn't she?" He crossed his arms, secretly wanting to play with his daughter as well. But that would be selfish, and his wife only had a limited time. "Tethys, If you keep rubbing her nose like that, your going to upset her." His voice is stern but...
"Nonsense!" Tethys laughs, smiling as Amphi laughs with her. And then she starts to hum a small tune. Lulling the baby to sleep. "Oh I will miss you when you go back, But your daddy will take good care of you!" She nuzzled the sleeping baby, then kissed her forehead before leaning down to the merman. "Please take care of her Posey." Tethys hands Amphi over, sadness trickling on her face. "I'll come back in a month's time to here okay?" Posey nods, sinking into the sea. Tehty watches as her baby shifts in a mermaid and disappears into the seafoam. The pain of being a grim reaper while her husband and daughter were of the sea....
And the memory ended, Leaving Impah shaken. Turning, she headed to the door and wondered why her heart hurt so much.

The pumpkins and the field disappear as she ventures closer to the door, the path changing until it forms a long corridor that is too dark for Impah to see. Clutching the bag tightly to her small frame, she walks slowly through the path...Her ear fins perk only when she hears the sound of sloshing behind her...and then foot steps.
"Hello?" she turned, to see nothing. Nothing at all. "haha, Must be hearing things!" Cheerfully she turns again, venturing further. And it gets colder, and wetter.
"Please give it back."
Her head whips, "Excuse me?" But there was nobody. Nobody at all. "Was there something in the flowers?" Impah says a bit more meekly...a little more worried. She starts to hurry now, and as she does, the water gets deeper, until its at her neck and she cannot venture any further. "I'd kill to have some light..." Impah muttered as she turned...
"Please give me back my-" Hands grab her, pushing her down in the water and she can't breathe. Breathing. She was going to die! She tried to struggle, she tried to push but it was too strong. And on the verge of passing out, her eyes looked up...and they met deep greys. Glassy. It was baring it's teeth at her.
"Give me back my heart!"
"Amphi, Don't do that hunny." Tethys reaches over and takes the small toy from the small mermaid child. It bares its small fangs at her reaching for it, wondering why its toy was taken away.
"Give it back Mummy!" Amphi whines, "Give it back!" Tears start to flow, "I just want to play with it more!"
The crying succeeds in making the grim reaper feel guilty....Tethys never had time to see her daughter, especially when she lived in the sea and the reaper lived on land. And to make her cry while she was here? She was a terrible mother.
"Okay okay, Shhh Amphi, I'm sorry." Tethys reaches out, gathering her daughter in her arms and rocking her. A soft humming emits out, causing the mermaid child to quiet and stare at her mom with large blue eyes. "I will give your toy back okay?"
Amphi doesn't care about the toy anymore, she wants to hear her mom sing more. "Mommy sing for me?" She ask politely, reaching out to brush her small hands through Tethys long hair. "Sing Sing!" She starts to make loud humming sounds. Tethys laughs and starts to sing, thoroughly enchanting her daughter.
"GIVE ME BACK MY HEART!" Tethys screams at her, shakes her in the water as she suffocates.

"I can't!" Impah hoarsely manages to get out. She had to take it back to her goddess! She had to get her blessing! She couldn't not give it to her goddess. The scissors gleamed in her hand, forgotten after the flood of memories and the overwhelming fear of dying.
She doesn't mean to.
She doesn't want to.
But she has to.
The scissors come up, plunging deep into the creatures form. It shrieks once and then disappears. The water fades, loosening Impah from its icy grasp as she falls to the ground, hacking up what had filled her lungs.
She reaches out for the bag of the heart, and she brings it to her chest.
"I'm so sorry Mom, I'm so sorry." She repeats as she rocks herself, holding the heart close to hers. Light filters, hitting her face. She looks up and see's a door. An escape.
Pushing herself up, she heads to it. Blindly following the light. And as she turns one last time, she focuses on a figure...with scissors in their hand. And then she is gone.

Day two:
The dagger is the first thing to wake her. It hums softly beside her. At least that's what she thought. As Impah's eyes open, she is blinded by white room. White walls. No windows. The light hurts.
Weird, when did she go to sleep? It didn't matter though, she slid herself off, pocketing the dagger and stretching. The only thing she saw was the door, and where there was a door...there was bound to be more things to explore.
her body follows the path out, slipping out of the door into the hallway. What a long looking hallway. Where did she go from here? As Impah steps away, the door slams closed behind her, making her jump.
"JACKDAMMIT." She yelps as she turns, staring at the door. After a second, she opens it and peeks inside. Nothing. "Must've been a breeze or something."
And then the door makes a thud sound and she looks back again.
This time there's someone and they are watching her. her eyes widen and she turns automatically to run. A scraping noise following her.

her legs carry as far as the door. A exit. A reprieve.
But to get it open, it requires a passcode and it's too much for her too see.
In her panic, which she doesn't understand...Tethys face pops up, smiling at her. Laughing with her. Swinging her around gleefully.
"No no no..." She didn't know that face. She didn't know that person. She needed to escape before the things came back for her.

The panic was getting worse, the desperation higher as Impah pushed at the doors. Why wouldn't they budge? She didn't want to be here. She didn't.
Her heart felt sick, wanting to run. Wanting to escape.
She needed to escape.
"Amphi Darling, Don't you remember Mommy dearest? I just want to hold you again." It whispers, "come let me hold you again and let me have your heart again. It's not like you do anything else with it anyways. You're just sunshine and bubbles airhead "
But Impah didn't understand these things.

Falling to the ground, Impah curls herself into a ball and rocks back and forth. There is nothing she can do. There is no hints at the door, and its scraping whine is coming closer. She wouldn't last.
She'd die here.
Her gaze slips to the left, landing on pieces of paper with letters and numbers. It takes her a minute to realize what it is before putting it together. The passcode. She could leave. She'd escape.
She crumples them in her hand, bringing them up to the lock and entering the numbers. It clicks open with a relieving swivel and she is out.
She's running again.
this time...it's woods. She was safe here in the grey woods.

The tree's didn't offer much to Impah beyond a slight reprieve. She didn't know why the creature terrified her so. But it did. Slowly walking through, her gaze turns once to make sure it's not following her...
And then it's there, watching her. Slowly moving towards her.
"No!" She screamed, running from the woods. Running forever and ever. A bridge. She could cross this and escape again. Yes. She doesn't care about the swaying wind, the way it swings gently. It's about escape.
And as Impah get's half way across, her eyes are drawn downwards to the endless abyss to fall too.
"NO NO NO NO." Gripping the bridge rope tightly, she doesn't notice the steady thump of footsteps on the boards until its right behind her. A snap of the scissors and she is embraced.
"Don't worry Amphi." The voice is sickeningly sweet, "It hurts only for a little bit." Impah gasp as she feels pain, and a digging inside her. her body can't move, she's too scared.
And then its gone, and the creature is standing over her. "I guess I took back what was mine Daughter." It cackled before toeing her over the bridge with her form. And Impah was falling into blackness.

Day 3:
Impah blinks at the goddess as she beckons her close. Cookies and sweetness, tempting her. It feels famalier, of a baku maybe who invited her once. The Goddess was a friend, and after so much that happened...
"Um...Oh okay?" Then she was going through a door. White fell, and unlike the white walls of the last visit to the goddess, Impah felt at ease. It felt good. It felt like a memory hanging there.
The crunch in the stuff on the ground amuses her, and for a second she collapses in it...Her arms stretching really far and wide, her legs moving until she's made a odd shape in it. She almost forgets what she came here for.
Getting up, laughing she goes to the table with jars. A pink and blue one. Not fond of pink, her gaze is drawn to the blue. It feels cold...sad in a way. But it doesn't matter because it's a goddess gift. So she drinks the Blue jar. The table spins and spins, her laughing even though she drank such coldness.
Food covers it, spread across the table and her mouth waters looking at it. This was okay for her to eat right? Her hand reaches shyly out, taking a bit of the chocolate and biting into it. But it doesn't taste right to her, it feels conflicting and confusing and questions start to arise. Should she be doing this? As a queen's canidate, was it okay for her just to stand around eating food. Too soon, the chocolate is sticky and heavy in her mouth, and her throat burns with need to drink.
Cups appear, colored and she stares. Like the blue jar, she takes the dark blue cup and downs it. The memory makes her gasp, dropping the cup as it hits.
It's a hot summer day at Amityville, and she takes cover under a tree. Her thoughts are suppose to be peaceful, under the shade of the halloween sun but they aren't. She's been feeling needy. The break up with Roch had taken a toll on her in a way she hadn't known. She had been dependent on him. She had needed the attention he was so free to give. And the acceptance of sides of her that she didn't even understand.
Her tongue comes out to lick at her baby fangs, elongated at the idea of what Roch had tasted like. She remembered biting down into his flesh, feeling a rush of hunger and a deeper wish to take more from him.
A sip of soda calms her nerves a bit, making her wonder why it is now that she is thinking these things. It's hard not to though, if she let her mind wander...it would go to other thoughts. Like hunters, and how they had tortured her. And yet she still chose to help them.
Or the fact that school was almost over for her, or that she hadn't mentored. Stupid little thoughts.
Then he comes a long. Her thoughts are chaotic as he looks at her. In no way is she attracted to him. He annoys her, He himself is annoying. But she doesn't voice it cause, she's too meek. He sits down and chats. The chat goes south. Her temper starts to flare, but it's crowded over a lust to hurt him. She doesn't understand.
A switch flips, Her mind blanks as she gets up. Staring with unfeasted need at him. He makes a deal. She accepts. Her mouth hovers over his shoulder that is exposed, at the neck that cranes at her to do what she wants. She wants to bite it. So she does. Blood seeps out, but that's not what she is after. She feels the flesh give into her fangs, her hands push him against the tree. Unlike him, she is not a vampire but she is hungry. A mermaid with a reaper under her.
Soon enough she is thinking of a hunters throat here, that same delicate flesh. Warm. She imagines the one with a scythe, the one that had her tortured. Hate fills her. She takes it out on the one under her now. Her teeth sink further, a crunch of bone. Blood seeps slower though, he's undead after all. He isn't a hunter but she doesn't care. She's pleased by what she is doing now.
The smell hits her, She wants to pull back with it. Take the flesh with her. imagining taking the hunter with the scythes flesh with her. Ripping out his throat with just her teeth alone...
And then she lets go of his neck, panting as she pulls back. Confused...Where had she gone? What had she done? he hand't seemed to mind though, and that scared her more. Soon she's up and running. Away, she had to get away.
--
Impah shudders at the memory, had that been here? She had seemed so meek at first, but the switch. It felt different...dangerous. Could she lose herself so easily?

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark red Description: Red muted anger, with a sense of danger and shame. Your commentary on its flavour: This tea was strange. He could understand anger, but this, this had a sense of the need for blood. Other thoughts blended together, another aggression another anger? was this a misdirected anger? This was a precious memory but it carried shame, like his own. he set it down silently thanking the owner for sharing.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark Red (Though it's just a blob, but the crayon is dark red.) Description: Hurtful, angry... scared. Your commentary on its flavour: Ako's fingers curled around the cup he'd sipped from slowly, a frown on his face. He couldn't recall... something about it... the mental image of that person with a weapon... did it remind him of something? He couldn't remember at all, but the entire memory... all of it made him cringe. Hurting someone innocent because of fear? That was... it was bad... yet... it felt as if it hit home. Had he done something similar? He cringed further, slinking away from the cup slowly as he shook his head. He didn't like that one at all. No... not at all.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Maroon Description: Confusion, Anger and Need Your commentary on its flavour: Palem stared at the cup in her hands, utterly confused with what she had just seen. And honestly, a little disturbed. Had she just found a vampire's cup? (Well, the tea was red...) It was a strange drink, she felt a little sorry for the girl (vampire?) with her conflicted emotions in the beginning and that resentment she found in her ex-boyfriend. But the hunger and need in the end. And the course of actions to fill it. Palem deadpanned and simply put the cup down...
