Another day, another battle. This particularly clinking beast seemed to give as much as it got, which was fine with Rostym. It gave her more to concentrate on.
Killing had become one of her singular purposes lately, and not just for the shinies they dropped.

Did someone say fighting? Punching wasn't half bad, stranger. She nodded to the other, having lost her penchant for being so chipper. Maybe she'd find it later, but for now . . .
The fight.
Rostym concentrated heavily on each follow through of her daggers, appearing very serious--almost angry--as she struck.

Vae let out a long whistle. Wow, that was one hell of an impressive hit just now. She considered asking the other female figure where she had learned to fight like that, but...something told her that she wasn't particularly keen on talking right now.

The whistle was a curious sound. Rostym paused and cocked her head at the other figure, blinking. Huh . . . She tried to mimic it, curious despite her silence.
and then, somehow, she recognized what it was for and perked. Rostym put two fingers to her temple and saluted with a smile--then turned confused. What did she do that for?
Wait, let's finish this thing off first. With a furious flash of red, the monster was sliced to pieces.

Oh--she responded! Vae beamed, and it only grew more pronounced when the other figure successfully managed to cut down the creature. Bouncing to her side, the shadow girl clasped her hands behind her back and smiled.
"You're amazing! Really! I don't think I've ever seen anyone cut something down so fast!"
And yoink, some shinies!

Rostym felt strangely shy about the compliment where normally she would have been chirping about how well the other had done. What had changed? A hand clutched to her chest as she gave her a little smile and a nod. "I suppose so . . . You did okay yourself, too." Was that kind to say? She hoped so . . .
And then shinies were had!
