Ixy had been minding her own business, unaware of the creature creeping up on her until she felt its claws on her shoulder, digging into her flesh...
Then she whirled around, putting her whole body into the motion as she drove her fist into the thing's face.

He was still shaking. While the fog had saved him back then, it didn't stop him from trembling at the thought of something grabbing him again from within the fog. He felt vulnerable, and scared. But battle. Battle would make him forget. It gave him something to focus on. It would give him a reward. Ignoring the horrible stare from the first one to show up, Itoto ran at the creature, sword in hand. The creature side stepped him easily, swatting a hand and tripping Otto head over heels. How these creatures moved so silently at times maiden had no clue. the scariest enemies were the ones that made no indication they were there, no hello's or beeps but ear splitting silence. That is what terrorized him, the uncertainty of the idea that something was there behind him. Many times he whirled around, thinking nothing was there, reassuring himself. there was a moment when calmness takes over, that was when the enemy took it change and ran its tendril like fingers down his spine. and got a lot of frantic flailing in return. Cringing as she took a blow from the boss, she temporarily dodged back, deciding to check on the male figure who had tripped. Hurrying over to him, the small shadow stooped down in concern.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She stared at him anxiously, only to look up when she spotted movement from the corner of her eye. The creature?! No, someone else who had come to join them.
Well, the more the merrier! Alright, now he was just kind of looking for fights, and when he stumbled on a group fighting another of the strange monsters, he couldn't help but want to join in. " Mind if I join you?" he said, motioning with his spear, but not actually attacking. That was a bad idea, as the monster proceeded to attack him. How irritating. Now he was going to have to fight, if just to get it back for that. Two others came to help soon. As Itoto struggled to his feet, a small female stooped to check on him. "M'fine.." He murmured softly, getting back to his feet. No he had to be stronger than this. He gripped his sword tightly, softly moving around the nice girl to run at the enemy. The fresh memories of arms smothering him in the fog fuelled his fear, as well as his strength and anger. With a yell, he slashed down into the creepy spectre, stabbing and slashing it more and more until he backed off after a quick slash across his chest from the monster made him. "I knew something was there, i just knew it!" the irritation grew in maiden, mostly at himself for dropping his guard. Snarling at the beast was the minor relief to his personal frustration. It was more effective when one of the nearby fighters took it upon himself to rage and yell and go wild on it. He was going to take a page from his book and stabbed it with the sharpened spear. With no objections to him, he began to fight in earnest, striking the monster with his weapon hard. It was more complicated when fighting in a group, but he was sure that they would be able to take the monster down. The two others who'd joined fought in earnest, which was just fine. They didn't hit on him like the crazy guy he'd always run into. That was also a bonus. Really, as long as everybody pulled their own weight, he saw no issue. Itoto re gripped his sword, and took another stab at the enemy. It was one thing to be stepped on, it was a whole' nother situation to be literally walked over. Maiden let out a plantive yelp at the sudden pressure upon his body and curled up in an effort to block out the pain.
