The Red Light District is a re-purposed area focused solely on satisfying the pleasures of it's customers. There are all sorts of clubs, bars, brothels, and other shops that tailor to the more intimate needs of the people. To get an easy discount on anything, just tell them Marcos sent you.
Novice Test for Marcos Santiago: Create the RLD [10 Posts]
Marcos had been tasked with the creation of the official Red Light District, and he knew just where to start. There was a particularly shady part of town that might as well be the actual RLD. The only thing was the businesses were lacking a certain draw. None of them were very attractive establishments with clearly defined rules, guaranteed good times and deals. Marcos certainly had his work cut out for him, but he knew he could do it. Marcos had plenty of contacts. Most people tended to really enjoy him, especially what he brought to the table. Not only did he have a smoking body and absolutely perfect teeth, but he brought a network of people together. Wanted drugs? Marcos knew the right guys. How about sex? Not only did he know where to get it but Marcos gave it pretty good too.
Hopefully he would be able to get the shop owners to comply selling out to him and come under his management. In truth it was a wonderful idea. Not only would Marcos set down rules and fix the places, it was a guarantee draw to the people. More customers meant more money. All they had to do was agree to come under his management. Marcos was sure they would come around, but in the even that his plans did not come together he already had a backup. Marcos could always sleep with them. From there he could further convince or even kill those who refused him. Hopefully it wouldn't get too messy.
Marcos set his eyes to the first target; a local pub. It was a pretty sleazy place already. There were always a shady bunch drinking in the corner, and this place was constantly breaking out in fights. He had come here a few times for some jobs, as well as the proverbial a**. But today was for business. He nodded at the two men outside of the main entrance, a burly bunch he had come to know quite well.
Marcos gazed about the room, not surprised to see barely anyone present. It was fine with him as this place would need time to refurbish anyway. Marcos walked up to the bar and rapped his knuckles on it thrice. The owner of the bar, a squirrely old man already griping about the noise. When he saw Marcos he stopped and gave him a smirk, waggling his finger at him. "You're the talk of the town Marcos. I've seen you pull some pull some crazy s**t but how did you do it?" He said, walking forward and grabbing two cups and pouring drinks into them.
The barkeep slid the glass to Marcos clinked their glasses together. Marcos tipped the glass back and knocked down his first shot. "That entire group? What was that five girls? How do you do it?" The barkeep asked, refilling the glasses. Marcos gladly accepted it and spoke without the slightest hint of modesty. "Six, actually. The ladies love my accent." He said, wistfully thinking of that night. It only took a brief pause for him to get right on track. "I'm not here for no reason. I want you to sell your shop for me." Marcos said, aiming his eyes right at the barkeep. He saw the annoying hesitation roll through his eyes and quickly upped the assault. "You'd still get to run it, just with a few less..." Marcos looked around and motioned at the entire place. "This. I'm buying out this whole area, and aiming the entire focus at one Red Light District. Just imagine, Booze, boobs, and beds right at your fingertips! Plus, you'd be getting a nice thirty percent." Marcos said, flashing his award winning smile. The look of hesitation had peeled back, but not lifted away. "Forty percent, and free access to lap dances at the soon to be new and improved fantasia!" Marcos said, slamming his glass down and spreading his arms. The barkeep gave Marcos a wry smile and took his hand, shaking vigorously. The barkeep grabbed the bottle and handed it to Marcos in celebration.
The constant cover of night kept Nocturne's night walkers constantly busy. All corners couldn't be covered at all times when there was only a single lady of the night. Naturally alliances and coalitions had formed, until there were only two major factions. Both were headed by two particularly sultry women, both who absolutely despised the other. Marcos wanted to officialize the business, make it more legit and less sexually transmitted disease.
Sponsoring consorts sounded a lot better than prostitution anyway. Marcos could have these women shape up and care about the quality of the merchandise, rather than the hefty bag of gold that came afterward. Over the course of two nights Marcos managed to agree on a meeting between the lovely women and himself. There he would try to convince them both to come together and work under him. The location they had agreed on was an old club, now closed down. There was a stage where live bands would play and an entire floor floor for dancers. A bar and grill were attached as well.
This was his chosen venue for the new Pick-Your-Pleasure. It was a restaurant/entertainment hub that would cater to multiple needs. A small bar and grill would cover the alcohol and steaks while the stage and dance floor could turn into the strip club stages. A few tables, chairs, and booths would finalize the entire thing. Of course it was attached to the building behind it, which would serve as the consort's workplace. All he had to do was get the women to agree with each other on who would run what. When Marcos entered the place, it was almost already too late. The women were clearly on edge, sitting forward aggressively and speaking in harsh voices. "Marcos doesn't want you! He's here to rub our relationship in your face!" One of the ladies yelled at the other, uncrossing her legs and balling her hands into fists.
Before things got too ugly Marcos darted forward and slipped right in between them. He spread his legs wide and placed one hand on both of their thighs. Marcos smoothly spread his wings out as well, closing them partway around both of the woman, pressing them closer to him. "I'm sure there is a way we can resolve this? Something with a little less talking and a little more Marcos?" He said, wanting to make sure he did not give them room to negotiate. A few hours later Marcos lay in bed between both of the women. "Are we in agreement then?" He said, sitting up and gazing at both of the exhausted women. They gave him weak nods and small agreements. "Excellent, have a good day." Marcos said, grabbing his pants and making a stylish exit.
The next day Marcos awoke with an extra pep to his step and motivation clear on his face. He had secured the major and minor businesses, and only needed to find a few more services. There needed to be people who kept things in order when Marcos was away, he needed some bouncers and guards. Marcos headed the the local Rent-A-Merc and hired a load of guards. He told them the rules and what not and set out to recruit. Marcos got in touch with all his lovely contacts and told them about the place. In no time at all Marcos had created the Red Light District.

[Why thanks, I do work out]
Marcos had pulled Hadrian most of the way, but released his hold on him once they were close enough to the Red Light District. He was clearly excited to be here. "I am telling you Hadrian! You will love it here!" Marcos exclaimed, pronouncing 'love' like 'lav'. Marcos pointed at one of the buildings before speaking. "We're heading to the strip club, Fantasia, where your wildest dreams come true!" He said, grinding his hips against the air as if it was Hadrian. He did a sort of double hop walk and kept going, pulling on Hadrian's hand again with his tail. When they got to the door Marcos knocked thrice. A little slider was moved to the side, and suddenly a mass amount of noise came pouring out. A set of eyes peered down at Marcos and Hadrian, and then the slider closed and the door opened. The bouncer grabbed Marcos and clapped him on the back, motioning for Hadrian to enter. When they got into the strip club the door closed behind them and locked. "While you're here with me, everything is free. Let's have a fiesta!" Marcos said, walking through Fantasia and leading Hadrian to two sets of double doors. One was labeled with a man symbol and the other a woman symbol. "Pick your poison." Marcos said, gesturing to either one. The male symbol featured women stripping and all sorts of delights. The female symbol featured men stripping and similar delights.
The redlight district was a concrete jungle, large spires shooting up to the heavens and neon signs blinking 'xxx' and 'open'. It was splashed with prismatic splendors to delight the senses, especially in the eternal night city. People partied for hours on end, one of the many wonderful benefits of immortality. On the street corners lingered temptation, the main populace trained in seduction and dark arts.
It was normal for many that knew the ways of this area to deflect their eyes from sultry gazes, Red seemed unafraid though. Her head remaining up, honeyed sage hues taking it all in. Though they'd eventually linger on the man beside of her. Fists would unball from their confines as she moved them to her back pockets of her black skinny jeans. "I haven't really seen you around before, are you from here?" The feral questioned. Rubberized soles kicked at the obsidian road, boots thudding as they walked. "If you are wondering what we are doing here, I found out that some C.H.A.R.L.I.E's have been spotted. Normally a few wouldn't be anything but this group is extremely large. From the information anyway. The other goodies come later. " The woman motioned for them to turn left, into an alleyway that was completely dark. It was noticeable that none of the streetwalkers clamored around this section, even the air was riddled with an unknown tension.
"If you need to mediate, now is the time."
After he did his, she would begin hers. The jet lashes closing as her face lulled downward, scarlet bangs shadowing the tinted lids. It would start as a spark, a tiny ignition that crept up her form. Spanning over the dead flesh in rapid repetition, the energy climbed each pillar, moved over valley and curves alike until it mutated, morphing into an iron form. Of course she could continue on to her steel form but there wouldn't really be a need at the moment. Not for her anyway.
"You ready?" This was the point of no return, once they entered the dark, there was no going back.

Greed
The Devil's Advocate
• Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil?
Greed walked alongside his fellow berserker, sharp vermillion gaze absently scanning the crowd, his brain taking in all the sights and sounds of the red light district. Of course, he was not unfamiliar with the place. Greed was a fan of bright lights and such, and oftentimes came here and just walked about the streets, his feet taking them wherever they felt like going. He wasn't a stranger to the sultry gazes either. With such a tanned and muscular form, he was definitely checked out a few times through the bustling crowd. He did not return many of the gazes for the most part however... In fact, most of them he returned with a very hard and not so friendly stare. The demon liked doing this to strangers when he made eye contact with them... the reactions were hilarious. Red's question snapped him out of his little people watching gaze, and the demon would respond, "What? Oh yeah, i'm from Luimira. From what I remember anyways. I can't remember what about my past... except for that I think i've only been outta Nocturne like twice. Kusana's a beautiful city, nice people. You should go sometime." The demon said, really just chatting idly to skip over any more questions about his past. Though he didn't remember much about his past, what he did remember set him on edge.
As she mentioned charlies, the man groaned. ******** Charlies. They were a problem anywhere. Greed saw them as more of a pest, much like a spider... or ants. One or two was no big deal, but when a shitload ran at you, it was a hassle. Nevertheless, the demon knew he was more than capable of taking on a den of Charlie's. He would incinerate, electrocute, and crush every last charlie that ran at him, and even the ones that didn't run at him for that matter. As she mentioned Goodies, the Diabolus's gazed right at her with a pair of purple spheres for a change, curious. "What do you mean, Goodies?" He asked her before they turned, staring down an immensely large alley. With his natural energy vision, Greed's eyebrows raised at the amount of beasts there were in the area. "Yeah, I should probably do that." He stated, leaning against the wall, his purple eyes closing as his mind was wiped clean. A spark of electricity zapped at his feet, before the current arched through his full body. He was simply renewing his steel form, figuring he should retain it for as long as possible.
As his steel form was retained however, the berserker would retain a meditative condition for a few moments longer. He was not sitting in contemplation or hesitation, simply hyping himself up. Alright Greed, kill 'em all kill 'em all! You always say you want a fair fight, well here you go! a colony of Charlie's against you sounds pretty fair don't it? the berserker thought to himself as a read aura started to become visible around him. Suddenly, the demon's eyes snapped open, a sort of predatory look as he stared into the alley. "Let's get it started then." The demon said simply in a ready stance as he watched his prey, awaiting them to make the first move. He would crush every single beast that came at him, regardless of numbers.
(Used: fighting spirit) ((I didn't really renew his steel form, I just liked the idea of an electric current running up and dow his body haha.))
The feral thought back to what he said, Kusana being a beautiful city with nice people, well the world was not so beautiful and it certainly was not nice. It had a sick and twisted up sense of humor, and beauty was only in the eye of the beholder. Red would never leave this land, her soul bound to this nation. She'd live here, and when that time ever came, die for it. In that way, he was lucky, to journey to distant lands...but she knew the penalties of that mistake, its cost a pretty goddamn penny. She was fine with that though, it made her stronger. It was a true awakening, cause she'd burn the rest of the world down if it came to it. Her eyes would snap open, staring directly at the diabolus without malice or benevolence.
"You defeat the first wave and I will explain the second one." Her sincere face masking one of fierce determination. "Good luck, I will be here."
As he would step in the black out, her hand would extend skyward as she was still near the street. A single flaring fire ball illuminating the scene just barely. He'd have a clear path for only a short distance before dozens of beady orbs opened. There was at least 30 here alone, and more would be approaching soon. As the fire died out, only the shining spheres remained. They'd move, stalking, growling. Their limber limbs pushing them from one spot to the other.
The first two would attack from his 10 and 2 o'clock, a second pair following them from both left and right of his sides.

As the Charlie's began attacking, Greed would enter a Capoira stance, the tempo entering his head for a brief moment as he began to move forward towards his enemie's bloodred eyes gleaming predatorialy at the beasts as his tail trailed behind him. When the beasts neared him, the man ducked forward, his hands touching the ground as his legs raised up in the air. Once his legs were in the air, extended outwards to each side the berserker began spinning around, his legs arching viciously through the air in a tempest as they tried to strike every single one of the charlie's running at him. This skill was perfect for the situation, as it was literally meant to do damage to multiple enemies. Greed's strength and speed were even more spectacular than usual currently due to his fighting spirit. The kicks would probably shatter the bones of the charlie's, who were notoriously easy to kill.
The red head would cross her arms and lean against the damp brick. She could hear him shifting with slight grunts and huff sounds. Yelps echoed as he took down some, but the onslaught of growls and howls continued. The thing about CHARLIE's wasn't the fact that they were strong, no, they were in fact very weak. One of those monsters that had a one hit kill streak. You could practically smack one up along side the head and it would fall over, twitching and on the verge of dumbfounded death. What needed to be taken into consideration was the number, they traveled in packs, and this one was certainly large and would only continue to grow.
This time, four would head for his legs, from every direction and another two would come back to front. The two leap into the air, claws out stretched to rip away flesh and the four charging in for his feet had some nasty teeth, probably had rabies. The only thing he would see were their eyes, the only sounds was the scurry of nails against metal and concrete, and their dog-like growls.
Seconds later, 10 would surround Greed, they'd rush him at the same time.

As the four rushed at Greed's feet, he would exit the handstand and reach for his lightning enhanced Ki. It didn't take him long to do this, and he felt the lightning energy surge from the center of his core into his fist. As bright red powerful lightning surrounded his fist, the demon would slam his fist against the ground. The result was extremely bright, illuminating the entire alley in a crimson red for a mere moment as the lightning surged outwards in a full 360 degree range around him, shooting lightning up into each of the charlies and more than likely killing each of them. As for the other two charlie's jumped at him, since he was so close to the ground already he entered another handstand before spinning around once more in a 360 motion, a hurricane of limbs occuring as he attempted to smack the other two out of the air with his legs. Then, as a group of ten Charlie's surrounded him, he would see each of them clearly with his energy vision. He was glad he had energy sight, as most people would have a hard time fighting so many enemies in the dark. he would send a defensive arc of lightning all over him that covered his body. As each of the charlie's hit him, their claws would find no purchase against the berserkers steel hard skin, and each would be electrocuted and paralyzed before hitting the ground. Greed then waisted no time, stomping and punching in a frenzied fashion at each of the paralyzed Charlie's skulls to ensure they wouldn't get back up.
(Skills used: Leg storm, thunder quake, electric eel) (Active: steel form, 3/10) (Fighting spirit, 2/10)
The stench of searing flesh wefted, though Red didn't smell it, she was sure the rest of the block could. Still, as the CHARLIE's advanced even with the lightning show, her face was illuminated with bright flashes of white and electric blues, she was smiling as hazel eyes gleamed.
Howls and spine-ripping screams echoed off the brick walls, this only enraged the other CHARLIEs more. Their sniveling snarls slopping foam and drool on the pavement. Another 10 charlies would run in, after seeing their brethren killed so effortlessly, they were really, really pissed off.
Five more readied themselves, they were going to leap in, razor sharp claws outstretched. They were ready to kill, all of them had rape faces on.

Feared Exalted Evil?
Greed looked around him, his energy sensing sight letting him know he was once again surrrounded. Thinking fast, he used lunge punch at the one directly in front of him, crushing it's skull in as the clawed fist smashed it's skull in as he escaped from the center of the group. Immediately after this, his claws would shine brightly for a moment as they lengthened, before darkening into an obsidian black as he went into a handstand, his leg snapped forward and attempted to hit the nearest charlie in the face, the kick almost literally lightning fast. Greed then entered a new fighters stance, this one far more focused on keeping Greed on his toes, ensuring he could dodge endlessly, especially with his far superior speed. He didn't like this way of fighting, and often referred to it as 'twinkle toed dancing', but it helped as the demon had to conserve much of his energy, he didn't want to waste it all too early attempting to wipe out the first of who knows how many waves. As the animals came towards him, Ducking and dodging as his hands shot forward, the claws that were sharp enough to rend steel attempting to destroy the other charlies in a lusting rage. The demon was excessively evasive, his tail even stabbing at some of the charlies that came his way. He did this for those ten charlies, continuing in this manner as he destroyed them all.
As soon as the ten were defeated, the Demonic berserker would sigh, a swift gaze around him showing him he was once more surrounded. As they all jumped at him with their rather creepy faces, the demon would spin around once more in his handstand with leg kicks, attempting to slam his legs into each of the charlies that came his way. the demon was playing conservative here, allowing the charlies to come at him for the most part right now. He knew that if he went on the offensive hunting prowl too soon, he'd waste far too much of his energy. As it was, he was still in his steel form, his extremely protective skin protecting him from the slashes that actually did touch him, not that many did. Still, his steel form would not last him forever, regardless of how quickly he managed to kill these creatures. He knew if he didn't finish this up quickly, even with his natural iron hard skin he would eventually start racking up some wounds... wounds that couldn't be healed during battle. So the demon struck with vigor, his speed still increased by his fighting spirit. ((Sorry if Im not that descriptive, im just worried about my little brother right now.)) ((Skills used: extension, Bob & weave, Leg storm, flash kick, lunge punch))
If only she could see how he spun around and kicked the poor CHARLIE's heads right off. It might have been impressive, but she couldn't. Not from her position and while it was pitch black in the alleyway. Though she knew that his forms would only hold up for so long, even her own were almost half way used up. Red pushed from the wall, a right hand conjuring up one flaming ball of fire that was launched up overheard in an arc. This wasn't meant as an attack, only to tell where his position was and the numbers.
He wasn't in a terrible predicament, yet. As the ball of fire roared skyward, it caught two large glints of metal and venomous green spheres staring downward at the alleyway from on top of the two parallel buildings they were between of. It was hard to tell exactly what they were, but they were waiting nonetheless. "Tch," she grinned. As long as Greed did not move, he would be fine. Red starts to run, augmenting the muscles in her legs and feet enough that the feral leaps up and off the building on the left. This was while both arms ignited, two streams of fire raged forth around the diabolus. Three seconds later she was off the wall, infernos blessing the CHARLIE's with fiery deaths. From one wall to the opposite, she would finish off the strange beasts for him. Great fires burning in a horseshoe shape, and he at the center.
Finally, one last leap and her boots would slam to the ground. Her crouched body would stand up slowly, and she looked at him over a shoulder.
"Sorry, your next wave is already here and I have a feeling their patience has worn thin."
The red head would walk right the edge of the darkness. This was as the two giants stood from their stoops, their bodies made up of various dead bodies and metal armor decorated with steel spikes. The two mechanically inclined berserkers would launch themselves from the buildings simultaneously and land in the cleared street. It was Tweedledee and Tweedledum, for they looked identical in structure and composites. They snarled and groaned, waiting for their opponent to approach as the one on the right, Tweedledum, was pulling off a corpse and would fling it towards Greed as if it were nothing more than a leather football.

Feared Exalted Evil?
As Greed destroyed the charlie's one by one, he felt their forces getting weaker and weaker. They stopped coming at him in droves, and more as individual survivors of the massacre. Then, as he got ready to incinerate the remaining few, something strange happened. He felt the temperature around him kick up a few notches and watched as his Captain created a raging inferno, destroying all of the remaining Charlies. The masty smell of burnt hair and charlie flesh hung in the air as Greed sighed slightly, his nose wrinkling. "I know you can't really smell, but it smells like... yeah I can't think of anything disgusting enough to describe this smell. It's like burning dog s**t." He said, before looking up and watching the two gigantic body collectors fall from the skyward heavens, and into the alley further in front of him. As soon as he saw the collector on the right pull a decaying corpse from his body, Greed knew it was time to take action. Feeling his purified lightning key inside of him surge, he felt a platform of lightning form underneath him as he zipped to the right and upwards, moving almost as fast as a regular lightning bolt. As he flew through the air, the lightning bolt took a turn downwards and attempted to strike on top of the body collector's head. If it landed where Greed aimed, the body collector would probably drop to his knees from force and energy of the lightning strike, as well as be shortly paralyzed as an electric current arched through his body. If he landed the strike Greed, with his energy enhanced claws would stab downwards several times at the top of the giant's cranium, attempting to give the giant an improvised and extremely lethal labotomy. ((He's better. he fell and hit his head on a curb, but he didn't break anything he just got a concussion.))
"Heh, just be careful." She said from the darkness of the alley. A wave of current swept through his body as he dashed in an upward curve, the blue crackles sparking as he aimed the bolt at the Bone Collector. Sure enough the strike hit, the only problem was that these creatures were made from the composite of the dead. They felt no pain, just as she didn't. They lightning jolted the dead muscles and even made the unbeating heart palpitate for a second. It didn't paralyze though. The layers of decaying flesh would smell, just like any skin would when burnt.
It was when Greed drove in with claws that she started to frown. The one that he was attacking swing its left arm, a powered attack of Force Breaker aimed for his midsection. Tweedledee wanted some action too. Just under his throat area, the corpses shifted, there was this sick squishing sound before the Collector shot out a Gut Wrap towards Greed. These were hardened intestines, and unlike the tongue ability, they'd go to coil around the victim with the intent to draw them in while whomever was entangled.
Red remained quick, arms folding over one another while she watched. He needed to not only rip off the heads, but also the 'heart' of the beasts or else the bodies were just decapitated swinging messes.

As the being would continue fighting, a look of puzzlement grew on Greed's face. He had just drove his claws straight into it's brain, yet it still wanted more punishment. He sighed, deciding he would have to resort to less conventional methods of destroying these beings. Spinning in a 360 degree twist, Greed felt his momentum and energy build up in his hand as he finished the spin, his Havoc Palm technique heading directly for the creatures arm that it was swinging. This technique could more than likely blow off the target's limb, as it has been known to even knock down buildings. He then hopped off of the Creature's head and onto it's back as the tentacles flew towards him, his tail slicing at the tentacle like guts with a deceptive speed as he hung onto the beast's back shoulder blades on one of the many spikes protruding from it. He then tried to shove he steel hard tail into the creature's back that he was hanging on, straight through the heart, before he would take a swipe at it's neck with one hand with his razor sharp claws, attempting to behead the being. He felt demonic energy building inside of him, and he knew that he wouldn't be able to defeat these creatures with inner storm. They didn't have active nerve cells, and so it would be extremely hard to kill them. Of course, higher wattage skills would still do damage, but not with the added benefits he was used to. ((Nah im alright. I was just worried haha, nobody told me if he was okay or not for a really long time.)) (Used: Havock palm) (Active Steel form 6/10) (Fighting spirit 5/10)
The armor faceplate fell away, a huge gaping hole were the section of face once was. It oozed tar like liquid all over the place but its other eye still blinked and it groaned jawlessly. The metal spikes hit the havoc palm, shattering the sinew muscle and bone underneath, it was enough of a force that the whole forearm blasted off. Tweedledum would slam itself backwards to squish the raging diabolus. This was as the other came thundering in, hurling acidic bile as its tongue lashed out for Greed's neck, it had already augmented its muscle to give it the extra strength that even rivaled his steel like claws.
