The Great Hall where the beginning of the year Sorting Hat ceremony takes place. All dances and eating also takes place n the Great Hall, a place filled with the wonderful smell of freshly made bread by the house elves and laughter. The ceiling is charmed to be like the outside sky so it could be dark and gloomy or bright and sunny or even light with snow during the winter, which makes it all the more magical.
