In the distance Lliote saw a lone shadow fighting another one of those cat monsters. The monster's back was turned and he took that as his chance to jump in. Aima stayed relatively hidden in the background as the others fought. She assessed that they were friendly, and only then revealed herself.
Turns out Aima actually had some battle prowess. Perhaps she just REALLY hated these cat things. It was most likely that. They were way too cute. Aima hated it.

Nush took another hit, and he was now off balance. He struck out at the creature, just barely grazing its form. Shaking his head, he backed off some more, trying to get his game back together. Another had come on in at least to distract the creature in the meantime. Aima took to ducking behind a broken cement barrier for the time being. She would wait patiently, looking for an opening.
Meanwhile, she stared at the other figures who were fighting, trying to derive some meaning from them. Maybe the others were okay blindly following the goddesses, but not Aima.
