The Forbidden Forest borders the edges of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry grounds. As it's name suggest is is strictly forbidden to students, not that they would want to enter to begin with. Seeing as it is home to several dangerous and dark creatures who don't take well to being disturbed by trespassers. However if students get detention or take Care for Magical Creatures they may spend some time in the Forbidden Forest whether they wish to or not. Those students who believe they have nothing to fear may enter the forest but will they exit? We shall see.
