Kyrie had attached herself to Elora, even after they had returned to the pantheon and gotten settled. She liked the beautiful djinn. She was funny and did not seem to mind her endless torrent of questions. But more importantly, she shared her love of all things shiny.
It was the day after they had all returned from their adventure to find the long lost archive and Kyrie was walking with her hand in Elora's through the busy market that stretched around the pantheon.
"Are you happy that you will get to see your friend Isambard again?" she asked as she looked up at her.

Elora swung Kyrie's hand and thought about her question. "He's not really my friend." She replied as they passed the many beautiful stalls. "I'm more of a servant, though they are the only people I remember."

Kyrie thought about that for a moment and glanced around the familiar landscape of the market. She had not really considered that Elora might be a servant. In her eyes, she was a friend. Though if she were perfectly honest, she thought of her mother and father's servants as friends too. Just friends that you could ask for things. "Oh. Though I hope he is friendly?" she half asked. "Was he nice to you when you last saw him? Do you think that you will recognize him? Momma said that he was not fully reborn yet," she smiled a little and happily swung her hand with Elora.

"I don't remember very much. I think he was nice." She replied, looking around the market place. "What do you mean you don't think he is fully reborn?"

Kyrie blinked a little and looked up at her as if the answer to that question should have been obvious. Though she had been locked in that lamp for a very long time. "Well... The gods faded away, but they were not completely gone. They're trapped in these stone things until a mortal gives up their body and life for the god to be reborn. My new friend Alva is a mortal with the goddess Valyrmora inside of her," she explained with the matter of fact tone of a child.

"Oh." Elora replied, well she supposed that made sense. He was gone for a long time. "Well, then I wouldn't be able to pick him out of anywhere if he is a different person." She pouted a little, seemed things were now going to be easy. "Maybe there are other servants here I might recognise?"

Kyrie blinked again and glanced around. She honestly had not thought about that. She forgot that not everyone could sense the potential presence of a god or goddess. But then Elora's suggested caused her brighten and she nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! I bet there are," she smiled excitedly. "Who do you remember? Do you remember what they look like?" she asked. She was determined to help her friend. She did not want her to feel lonely, even if she did have a standing invitation to stay in her family's home.

"Well, there was Esha she is a housekeeper and has a tail and funny ears." Elora could remember her from the few times she had been to the temple. "There was Cyrus too, he would be easy to spot, he's a djinn, like me but he's really tall and really big. He looks scary but really he's very nice. In a gruff sort of way."

Kyrie committed the names and descriptions to memory. The mention of the one named Cyrus sent a bolt of excitement. Another djinn! Before her trip she had only dreamed of meeting one, now she had met two with the possibility of meeting a third. This was very exciting. "He looks scary," she repeated then paused in her walking. "Do you think there is something here that might attract one of them? Something they enjoyed eating or buying or doing or seeing or anything?" she asked with a quizzical tilt to her head. "That might help us to find them," she suggested with a smile. She knew it would be easy to find her in a crowded marketplace. People would only have to look for the shiniest booths to find her.

"Well, Cyrus liked food, spicy food if I remember right. He would always be in the kitchen of my home when Isambard came to visit." She looked over to the food stalls. "Let's go and have a look."

Kyrie nodded and tugged on her hand a little. "Okay!" There were certainly worse places to be searching. The food stalls had to be her second favourites in the whole of the marketplace. The smells and flavours and colors were amazing.
Cyrus had been sent out by Esha to the marketplace. Isambard was sorting out some business and his services had really not been needed. He was supposed to be picking up some supplies that Esha needed, but he had gotten distracted by his nose and growling stomach. Now that food was not so scarce, he could not seem to get enough of it.
Standing in front of a stall serving some amazing smelling curries and flatbreads, he was contemplating which he wanted.
Kyrie walked with Elora down the row of stalls, only half remembering their true task. It was hard to keep focused with all of the yummy smelling foods and amazing looking sweets at kidlet eye level. It was as she was looking down the row of stalls that he caught her eye. There was a massive man standing before one of the stalls and she tugged on Elora's hand to get her attention. "Look at him. He's tall and huge," she mused.

Elora looked down at Kyrie as she tugged on her hand then over to the big man. "Oh! That's him." She grinned, "let's go over." It had been a long long time since she had last seen Cyrus, he did not look much different ... less polished she supposed, djinn tended to be quite vain creatures, though times had been hard.
She walked up to stand next to him at the stall and looked the food over for a moment. "Hey there handsome." She smirked, leaning against the side of the stall.

Kyrie gave an excited caw and skipped along beside Elora as she approached the man. She was so happy that Elora had found somebody from her past. Standing off to the side, she watched her approach him. She had not been joking. He was a bit scary looking.
Cyrus lifted his eyes from the curries and looked down to the voice that had haunted his memories every step he took along his travels. She was a vision. She was stunning and absolute perfection, just as he remembered her. Frowning slightly he turned a bit to face her. Surely she was not real. "Where have you been?" he demanded.

Elora grinned at the look on his face when he turned to her and shrugged a shoulder at his question, pretending to be nonchalent. "Where have yoou been?" She replied.

Cyrus eyed her suspiciously for a moment. He could not think of a time when his dreams had been quite so sassy. "I went back to the city and you were gone," he frowned a little more. Everything had been gone, but he had noticed her absence the most. "You could have left a sign or message to tell me where you were going."
