Hope (Random late night poetry)

When the future's dim
and the lights fade out
when you feel alone
overcome by doubt

When you see the dark
flowing in your way
you no longer know
of the heat of day

Just remember there's
somewhere you could go
but to get you there
you will have to know

You are not alone
in this giant mess
and I will help you
if you try your best

You will meet the one.
though your monsters thrive,
you will see the sun
when you see their mind

they can bring the light
though you can't see how.
such a honest sight.
You deserve it now

it's for staying strong
it's for staying true
It's for staying here
as I wait for you

'cause I found my heart
it's within your eyes
we will never part
I can stop those lies

I can see that light
I can bring it here
So we need to fight
and we needn't fear.
