Liace, who happened to be nearby, didn't miss the monster's attacks. It was definitely a large monster, and with only one other person attacking it. Even though she was scared, she still aimed a blow at it. There were a bunch of people over that way. A lot of them... and they all seemed to be... why were they beating up on another of the people? He was tempted to dart off at the very sight, but inching a bit closer showed why. It wasn't one of them, but a thing... a nasty thing that was attacking them. They took on a lot of shapes apparently. "No no..." It was one of the few words he had down really, well... which was why it got chanted a bit much as he raced forward, dragging his new found weapon along before throwing it in a wide arc at the strange thing with as much force as he could.

Instead of hitting the boss, Liace was thrown down to the ground. "Uwa.." And then horror as those around him spoke of them being EVERYWHERE. ...why? A whimper escaped him before he froze up a bit as the thing came close. And quickly stabbed the spear at it to try and get it back away. This thing seemed stronger then the others she had faced, or at least more durable. Whatever it was, It still stung like a mo fo when it lashed it claws out at her. Lacie was hit yet again. She really wasn't good with this sort of stuff.. And it wasn't very nice of a feeling either to be continually unsuccessful with her attacks. "I-I'm sorry.."
