Andie kept walking to find the rest of his group but ended up stumbling on another creature. He groaned in frustration then attacked it with his fan like weapon. OOC Name of character: Andie Damage done: 4 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 11/15 Current HP: 35/40 Special ability: Rook's Ambition: You can attack twice in a row. This place was... a maze? The word had come to her mind unbidden, but after it came Theia decided it fit. Much in a way she did not like, not one little bit.
Letting out a huff of a breath, she meandered further through the rocky terrain, careful of where she placed her feet on the cracking ground. Now and then she caught a glimpse of further floors below, a glowing source somewhere down there... and felt no real need of speeding up her decent. Nope, no thanks.
Her thought was only to explore, see what she could find in these strange loops, twists, and spirals. The strange sounds she began to encounter though, the even stranger.... beeping? Speaking? Curiosity lured her in, circling stalactites and stalagmites until she located the apparent source.
Her eyes widened to see a grey figure darting out towards the... thing, marveled to see it stumble back at the strike. Grinning--battle, fight!--Theia gave little thought to her actions as she ran forward, lunging for the thing's head--least she assumed it was-- ....only to be thrown off without much effort by the creature.
She landed with general ease, though wincing at the impact. Still. The grin hadn't vanished. "What is it?" she shot to the man, remaining in a crouch as she watched the creature. She could see his core, see the red light glowing from it. He was similar. He was... safe? For now, he was better than the monster, and that was all she cared about.

Andie looked over when he heard someone join in the fight. "Not sure what it is, but it and ones like it keep showing up and attacking people." He said and hit the creature with his fan weapon again. "Be careful, it has pretty sharp claws and sometimes can be a bit tricky." He said as it slashed his arm up a bit. "I'm Andie by the way." "There's more?"
The delight in her voice was unmistakable, but whether she was referring to his mention of more people or more monsters, it was impossible to explain. She offered no definition herself. Instead, she focused on the weapon the man had, head cocked curiously. How interesting. Where had he gotten it?
Without much time to ask, she drew up from her crouch, moving quickly back towards the creature that beeped. Ducking under one of its arms that flung out towards her, she tried to ignore the sensation of what she thought was its claws finding her back. Her own fists collided with its chest, but as she skirted away from its reach she wasn't sure she did much to it. "Warning was a little late... but thanks!" She cast him a grin before the smile widened to show her teeth when he gave an introduction. "Theia! Nice to meet you, Andie."
She had to duck before she got swiped again, but Theia was definitely grinning like a fool. She was having fun! "How long have you been here?"

Andie nodded at her question of more. "Yes there is more, around her somewhere." He kept his answer vague since he wasn't sure what she meant more of. He twirled the fan like weapon in his hand for a moment before gripping it and striking at creature, getting a new slash on his leg. "Welcome." He chuckled with a grin. "Nice to meet you as well." He backed up a bit to get some room between him and the creature. "Here as in fighting this thing here or here as in in the area here?" He asked. Andie's answer only made her hum, clearly pleased by it. In her head, she was thrilled at the prospect of more fighting, enjoying the effect it was having on her. Moving back, she felt the spike of pain from where the creature'd slashed her. Well, maybe not enjoying that part of the fighting... but still!
This time as she darted in, it was her arm to receive a good cut along its length, though as she'd landed her foot against where she figured it's kidney was--how she knew what a kidney even was, she hadn't a clue but hey whatever worked--she saw it buckle a little under her strike.
Dancing back out of it's range, she flashed Andie a laugh. It was... nice to talk to someone, she decided. "Um... both I guess? I just sort of started wandering around so..." Theia trailed off into a shrug. Beyond this battle, she had nothing else to do. This... was normal?

"I think I've been in the area around a day? Not sure. I only just started fighting this thing before you showed up." Andie said with a grin. He kicked out at the creature but one of it's claws knocked his leg off course. "By the way, if we can defeat this thing, they leave things on the ground you can use to make weapons like this." Theia clicked her tongue, bobbing her head side to side. So he hadn't been there long, either. "Have you just been fighting?" Not that she'd have a problem with that. At all. In fact it was preferable.
The next thing out of Andie's mouth drew her up short, eyes wide as she looked between him, the fan he used, and the monster. "Really?"
Apparently that was the trigger she'd needed to get serious.
Stilling for a moment, Theia only seemed to bat her lashes before lunging back at the monster. It threw out its claws, and she caught the strike in her already injured arm, but her leg was moving. Up, out, up... her foot collided with what she'd guess to be the creature's chin. A sickening crack echoed out as the creature's head shot back at an awkward angle. She stood still and straight as a board as the body crumbled, fell, and she lifted a brow to it before turning a bright grin to Andie. "Like that, right? Now I can get a weapon, right?"

"Not the whole time. I've been exploring and doing tasks the goddesses ask for as well." Andie laughed. At her eager look at his weapon he grinned and nodded. "Yep. You just need enough of the items to make one." He watched as she finished it off and gave her a thumbs up. "Alright! Nice work!"
He walked over and picked up one of the three items that had been knocked from the creature then gestured at the other two. "Just like that. Those two are yours and they should be enough to make one weapon." She would need it if she was that enthused about fighting.

Theia was thrilled by this turn of events and information. She'll have a weapon! More of an excuse to go out and fight, really...
She listened as intently as she could to Andie's explanations, half-dancing as she watched him snatch up one of the objects that littered the ground. Her eyes focused on the two that remained and bent to pluck them up without much hesitation. Hers.
Two blades, one in either hand, had Theia glancing between them with a grin. Now to just get this new weapon of hers....
To Andie, she spun towards and gave another brilliant smile. "Thank you! You're fun to fight with," she added with a chuckle, corners of her eyes crinkling in mirth. "Think you'd be up for a round two?" Hey, never hurt to ask. And she planned to have an extra kick in the next match, to boot.

Andie chuckled and smiled. "Sure, we might want to get that turned into a weapon for you first but yeah, I can help you test it out then." Maybe he would find the rest of his group while wondering with her, who knew. "Come on, lets go."

Theia had to bite back a snerk, nodding her head. "Yeah, these won't be as much fun to use against something else as-is." Sticking her tongue out at him--least she thought that's what she did--she set off at a perky pace. Fighting felt good to her. Surely that couldn't be a bad thing to want to keep doing it then. Besides. More stuff could lead to better weapons, and more power could lead to answers. Right? Right~ "Coming, coming!"
