The thing skittered and made noises that grated against Nanco's ears. She stared at it curiously, only watching it approach until it swiped at her. The sting of the blow was unexpected, and Nanco skipped backwards. The concept of a fight suddenly came to her.

Yes! This seemed familiar! This seemed right! The sting of the wound faded as Nanco dashed around the creature, pivoted on one heel, and slammed a foot into its body. The crunch was satisfying. She hadn't known she could do a move like that! What else could she do?

A loud thunderclap followed by the parting of fog is the only warning the combatants get before another joins their midst. The Goddess of Ruin lands, scythe at the ready.

The Goddess swings, cleaving the creature in twain. The slice is clean, completely and accidentally murderizing the no longer creeping creeper.

She then turns her attention to Nanco. "You." The (thankfully) non-bladed end of the weapon is jabbed at the lost soul. "Find yourself a weapon. It isn't safe to go alone unarmed."

The Goddess of Ruin leaps into the sky and takes off without another word.

Nanco's singular eye enlarged to enormous proportions as the red Goddess landed and completely annihilated the monster. She swore there were suddenly sparkles and lens flares surrounding the Goddess. She was so strong! When the scythe was pointed in her direction, Nanco stood at attention, and even saluted. Though she had no recollection of ever offering such a gesture before, it seemed very appropriate.

"Yes, ma'am!" she replied, and watched until the Goddess was completely gone from sight. Then she went over to investigate the two pieces of the dead creeper.
