This movie is so great! Even with not seeing any Saiyuki before I didn't feel lost and the animtion style was so detailed. The only down part was that is was a little on the dark side making some scenes a little hard to see. Anyway I just what to know what everyone else thinks of the movie and what their favorite part was. (Please mark spoilers)
heartThe Gojyo shower scene was the best. I'm a Sazno fan myself but Gojyo is a VERY close second. The shower scene made my day! heart

Requiem was the best movie i've ever seen, it kick's Princess Monenoke's a**! The funny thing is the other day my dvd player broke and it woulden't open no matter what I did, and my Requiem Dvd was in there.....So I got a screwdriver and took the thing apart to get it back. My dad wasen't to pleased with me..^^
I would have to say my faveorit part of the movie was when it was showing the flashbacks of when-(Spoiler thing just in case o.O)
It was showing shortly after they all first met and goku jumped on Hakkai's shoulder and toled him not to change his name again, then they all started to talk and convinced Sanzo to go out for food with them.....And I also liked the part when Goku was chained to the wall crying And was telling Dougan that he could tell it wasen't the real Sanzo..It just show's how much Goku loves that man......
Heehee poor DVD player. It asked for it if you ask me though. blaugh Stealing Saiyuki.
Oh yes I liked that part as well!! heart There was hardly a part I didn't like! blaughheart

Yeah, I had only seen one episode when I first watched it and it made perfect sense. I loved it!!! heartheartheart Sanzo was vair cute in it and it also had Kou and his group. That was neat for me. Also, the villain Dugan, he was cooler at the beginning in my opinion (ya know, before he went all giganto on them?). Dugan and Hulan...hmm...anyone else see similarities?

As well as other parts of the movie... 3nodding At least now i know where that picture of D-g came from in the first Salty Dog book... I didn't even know who he was... sweatdrop Even though the movies s'posed ta be serious... you can't help but laugh at some parts... blaugh

(one is the japanese version lol before the adv on came out!) xd now i need to wait for my salty dog 1 to come..

I loved the movie it was so hilarious and I have to say that both Sanzo and Goku are the best but Sanzo is kind of better. I love his one line " If you meet the Buddha kill the Buddha if you meet your father Kill your father free of everything you are bond by nothing." It kicks a** and the other ones, " Do you want to die" "Shut Up or I"ll kill you." Not to mention I love Kenren( aka. former Gojyo when in Heavens) He rocks he such a bad a**. Both the anime and movie are really good and the shower part was kind of perverted sweatdrop and funny at the same time. biggrin Spolier biggrin I can't wait to get the dvd for Gaiden Saiyuki Reloded biggrin Its so going to rock this world.

Thats cool I wish I had two versions of Saiyuki Requiem but at least of still have On Demand from Comcast to watch it when it does come on. I love your picture by the way of Seiten Taishi. One of my favorite characters is Goku/ Seiten Taishi because I love it when ever he fights in that form he is so cold blooded and vicious and very violent not to mention his eyes are really cool.

Hakkai: Its so nice to be called by our formal name... Goku: I guess we shouldnt be too hard on them... Sanzo:Screw that. Gojyo: Since we are being so formal mind if I call you Big dumb a**?

And thats all I can say I really really enjoyed... unless you count Hakkai's driving and Goku's comments when the bird attacked them at the begining... ^_^'
I can proudly say I liked it all... Though Goku should have gotten more "licks" I think he called them... he only really had 1 hit back so he should have done more... -evil look- sweatdrop
