CO-OP MODE! Jump into battles without having to use LFG!! gaia_crown [ What is this? ] -Co-op mode is the lovechild between a 5 person battle prp and an orp. Using the regular battle arena creation mechanics, a player can now create a battle prp, and put *NUMBER HERE* CO-OP OPEN at the end of their thread title. This means, while your battle party has 2 people, you are allowing 3 more people to enter, or just one, or two, however many you want up to a max of 5. This is basically an "orp" sort of battle prp.
gaia_crown [ Making a Co-Op Battle ]
- You can edit an existing battle with an undefeated boss, or simply create a new one! The regular 2 hour cooldown still applies. Recruit the amount of people you want or just start it solo. Then title your thread the usual :
[ZONE NUMBER HERE] CHARACTER NAMES HERE * 2 Coop Open!
The part where it says 2 open is that you have two party slots that can still be filled, like a PUG, or a random party generated group. You are inviting anyone to join your party to help take down this mob! Basically you are saying they can come join in at any time. If you remove that from your thread it means you are full. - You do not NEED to make a co-op thread, and if you make one, do not expect people to have to join it. It is entirely optional for players: joining INTO an existing co-op battle is just as good as making one!
gaia_crown [ Joining a Co-Op Battle ]
- Make sure when you find a co-op thread that it has not hit the max player limit. Check for 5 players, if those are not fulfilled, and it is still open, then you can enter it! - Read the last post's boss's HP and join in from there. The battle then goes like a regular battle arena battle. You will be privvy to loot and everything - For this to make sense icly, RP it as if your character stumbled INTO someone else's battle. They they can offer to join, or however you see it, or perhaps the monster gets wind of them too. Basically, they are sucked into battle - RP IS IMPORTANT: make sure you aren't just jumping into random battles and that you try to at least make an effort to interact with existing team members. - 2 hours cooldown still applies, like regular battles, from when you first joined a battle.
gaia_crown [ Why Co-Op Battle? ]
- A lot of players don't feel comfortable with the LFG or they can't find one in a timely manner. A coop battle lets them "jump" into any battle or feel like they can get interactions with random players. For players who have small groups, opening your thread to co-op will let you get more people helping you with a mob (potentially) and also help you interact with other players, newbies or veterans!
gaia_crown [ Co-op Bonus! ]
- If your thread successfully recruits co-op players and defeats the mob, all players in that thread will get to roll loot TWICE. This nullifies the x2 loot rule, but you will basically get TWO rolls on that boss. When the boss is defeated, roll for the boss loot, then roll again. This is for co-op threads ONLY. - If you have a x2 loot bonus, this is nullified. You can only roll twice, OR roll the first time and choose to get your x2 loot bonus without rolling a second time.

FAQ:
gaia_star I accidentally left my recruiting thread open and now there are more than five players! - If it's an accident, don't panic. Just continue on as normal. After the boss is defeated, calculate it as normal. If this is a repeated incident, a GM may come to contact the culprits involved.
gaia_star I created a co-op thread and people beat the boss without me! - Make sure before you create the co-op thread that you're at a point where you feel comfortable in inviting other players, for instance, getting a hit in or two or three. Once you are, then open your co-op thread.
gaia_star I joined a co-op thread but the boss is dead! - Check before you join the thread whether or not the boss is dead. If it is, go for another co-op thread.
gaia_star The co-op thread I joined is inactive! - That's fine, it's only a 2 hour cooldown. If noone has responded within two hours of your first join post, simply go find another co-op thread or make your own battle prp.
gaia_star I accidentally sniped the last hit accidentally! - This doesn't matter since everyone in co-op thread simply rolls twice.
gaia_star I created a co-op thread but noone is joining! - This happens sometimes too. Carry out the battle as normal. If the boss is too overwhelming, then your existing party can flee. Simply wait the two hours, which is a reasonable time to wait for co-op people to join anyway, and then start another thread tomorrow OR join an existing one.
gaia_star There are already 5 people in this co-op thread but it is still recruiting! - The player probably went to bed or is AFK. If you count 5, go for another co-op thread!
