The abandon factory seemed to be condemned. Signs littered the front area. An observatory in the front with a wizards tower right beside it. The base would be where all the construction would be...
Outside only a few legitimate guards stood. To make sure no one would sneak inside. Mostly they dealt with young teenagers trying to sneak inside. The rest of the building seemed quiet...

Frederick would lead Rowan to the back entrances of the Factory. Seeing the back entrances were not covered at all. "Look over there. An entrance..." He whispered as he would sneak close to the entrance of the door. He could see runes on it when it got beside the door. "Hey... what are those?" He said pointing out the ruins as he looked through the window. Only seeing an empty building with old conveyer belts and stalls.

Rowan followed him to the entrance. She peeked inside through the windows, squinting to make sense of the dark factory. She saw the many conveyer belts, empty boxes, and scattered machinery. A bottle or two here and there. "It looks like a potion factory to me." she whispered. "They could have made anything from sleeping potions, health potions magic potions... the list goes on." There was a rattle on the other side of the building.

Frederick would hear it. "Careful..." He would say as he would pull his hood/helmet off his head. Looking inside. His helmet was rather bulky and made it hard to see. He waited for anything important to come inside the building. Though hopefully the guards didn't come back here to catch them spying...

The building was silent for the next ten minutes. A tall figure would materialize from the air in a swirl of black, he wore a long black cloak with a hood. He appeared with the two children from yesterday. The two children held bottles... No words were exchanged between the three. They were waiting for something. Rowan looked carefully through the windows, looking inside but not making much sense of what was happening...

"Hey..." He whispered mostly to himself. "Those are the kids I saw yesterday. What are they doing here?" he would say as he waited for something to happen. It was to early to go barging in. Especially against an unknown opponent and two children.

Another group of men would enter a while later. They'd look much like the men Frederick confronted at the prison. A few inaudible words were excanged between the tall man and the group. One man stepped forward and the two children gave them the two bottles. Potions of some kind? The men's voices became a bit harsher, then the tall man laughed. After some grumbling the men hande him a sack of coins and the magician handed them a bag. They were making a trade of sorts. Obviously not direct allies, the magician was assisting them somehow. The moonlight would shift a bit through the broken glass, giving them a clearer view of what was going on. The bag was filled with bottles, many bottles. A banging on a door in the factory would disrupt their conversation. One of the children grabbed a bottle, walking up to the door. They opened it. Several panicky voices could be heard. The child frowned and threw the bottle at the ground before shutting the door quickly. The banging and yelling quickly stopped. There was something glistening from the child as he walked, something like strings off his back?

"That is where they must be holding the prisoners... if we can free them. They can give the accounts of these trades... but who is the tall man?" He asked her as he continued to watch what was happening.

"I haven't the slightest idea..." said Rowan. She hasn't seen anyone like that walk around town. But the cloak he wore must have been a disguise. Maybe if they got a glimpse of his face? A portal would open, and another magician would step through. He wore a cloak like the other to hide his face. He dragged by the collar two more unconcious victims, an elderly woman and a teenage boy. He tossed them towards the men and they took them, taking them to the door and throwing them inside like sack of potatos before closing it, The magician stopped and turned to look around. Rowan ducked. He turned towards one of the men, whispering something in his ear.

Frederick would grab her wrist. "Let's get out of here. they are onto us." He said as he would drag her down towards an alley. Hoping that they wouldn't have been seen.

Rowan ran alongside Frederick, risking a look back. No one seemed to be chasing after them. A wall of blazing fire suddenly appeared literally out of nowhere before their path once they were halfway through the alley, keeping them from going any further. The flames cackled brightly as they quickly spread along the building, which was now oozing with scorching hot lava, which pooled at the base of the fire wall and inched towards them.Three men approached them from behind, weilding enchanted weapons. They were trapped.

Before turning back to face them. He would lift his helmet/hood back on his face. Purposely changing his voice deeper so that they would have a harder time figuring out who they would be. "Stay safe." He said to his partner before Drawing his Great Sword and Dwarven War Hammer. Bracing himself for the three foes to come forward. "Don't be afraid... We're trapped! Come get us!" He taunted as he waited for them to come ahead.

Rowan nodded, hiding behind Frederick. She Peeked over at the three men, seeing their enchanted weapons. She pointed her staff at Frederick. "Haste." she whispered. Faint yellow sparks flew around him, temporarily increasing his foot and attack speed.
The three men charge at Frederick as a unit. One attempted to shove him back with an earth-affinity shield while another swung his massive hammer at his head, which was strengthened by the power of wind. The third stood back a bit with his fire sword at his side, ready to strike if he somehow managed to fend his partners off.

He would drop his weapons. Leaning forward he would grab the shield of the enemy. Pushing him forward to avoid getting his skull crushed in. Once the weapon had passed. He would let go and kick the shield man away. Pivoting his body to dodge getting stabbed. He would look to the swordsman as he grabbed his hands. Whipping his own hands back into his nose. Which would cause him to let go of the Fire Sword. While the shield man recovered. The hammer man would make another horizontal attack to keep them covered.
Frederick would take one step back from the hammer. Feeling the wind graze his armor a bit. Then taking a swift lunge forward. He would simply stick the blade under his helmet. The sword cutting his throat open and splitting his spine. Calling for an instant death.
Frederick would let go of the blade and take the wind hammer from him. The Shield man would come back for more. Taking a wide swing of the shield. Frederick would jump to the mans left. Dodging the swing easily. The man would secretly through a punch, but Frederick saw through this easily. Using the shaft to block the fist. Bringing the hammer up into the mans chin. Stumbling back. The man would look up and find the hammer coming down on him...
The hammer caved in the shield mans helmet. Mush splashing out from it. He looked at the other man. Tossing the wind hammer on the ground. Picking up his own weapons. "You better run kid. Before your sword is the last thing I take..."

The final man backed away, his broken nose bleeding. He had seen him defeat his comrades with ease, and he was too cowardly to take another chance. His eyes flickered between Rowan and Frederick, then his weapons. He turned around and sprinted away to warn the others, leaving his sword forgotten.
Rowan had been looking a the fire while he fought, not wanting to see any of it. When she thought it was over she turned around, still hiding behind Frederick. She looked over at the dead bodies on the ground, pooling with blood. She felt like she was about to vomit.
