Ixb couldn't complain much about his existence so far. He'd pleased the Goddesses, been blessed, and met quite a few others who were rather pleasing to be around. He was still curious though, still missing something, and so he'd walked forth from the Moon Pool to find anything at all that was new. There was something frightening about the clicking creature but also familiar. The grey twitching form had an uncanny familiarity that he couldn't place. "Hello.." Despite it's strange bearing and movements, the pleasant being tried to greet it. At least until it came for him. Something inside of Ixb clicked and despite taking a swipe from the creature he seemed to instinctively know how to fight back. The calm smile faded and he grabbed one of it's spindly arms and ripped it clean off. The twitching monster teetered back to an aggressive stance and grasped for Ixb again. He was grabbed and held and squeezed and unable to retaliate. The young man writhed and cried out as he felt his strength sap away. He basically flailed until the unsteady creature lost it's balance a moment and he was able to leap free. Ixb tried to take the offensive this time and threw himself at the creature. They grappled for a breif moment until he was thrown away, having taken more hurt than he'd dished out. Ixb was getting tired. His thoughts seemed to drift a moment and the creature took the opportunity and capitalized, knocking the blue-hearted man to the side like a ragdoll. Ixb felt the monster strike him again, tossing to the wayside. Suddenly his heart started to pound and he felt the Goddesses blessings wash over him. His strength gathered and Ixb smiled to himself. With a rally of strength, he leapt at the monster again. He couldn't help but feel like this was wrong without a weapon of some kind but that was pointless thinking at the moment. The blue-hearted shade found purchase with a punch to the creature's ... face? Was that really a face or part of its body or what? No. He wouldn't lose. Ixb ran at the creature as fast as he could and began to tear at every spindly limb he could find. If there was something he discovered it was that he was fairly nimble. The blue-hearted shade zipped around and dismantled the thing piece by peice until it was a pile of dissolving fragments and he was barely holding himself together.
