Antonio walked up the stairs leading to the roof. He didn't want to go or do anything today. He made sure to tell Annie that he would come back home later so that she wouldn't have to worry about him. However, he needed to be alone with his thoughts because they were such a mess that he wanted to try arrange his mind correctly. He knew that he would need to speak with Lilith regarding what happened during the summer, but he was worried about how it would end. Nonetheless, he needed to make sure that Lilith understood that he liked Annie. He had to believe that his love for Annie was stronger than the crush he had with Lilith. "But those days were so much fun..." Antonio reminisce with a smile on his face. He really did enjoy his time with Lilith and he would never forget that summer no matter how much he might try. He shook his head, he couldn't doubt his decision otherwise he would not be able to stick with his choice.
He looked ahead towards the academy. From the roof he could see everything. The academy was truly beautiful even before the modifications and upgraded buildings. When he was a student in the academy, he would always go to the roof to relax and have lunch. Sometimes he would skip classes just so that he could sleep on the roof or catch the view of the academy from here. The roof was special to him and it was perhaps one of the best places for him to think and relax.
If anyone ever said that ghost types weren't interesting and cool pokemon obvious didn't know how to proper make use of the things that made a ghost type cool. For instance, being able to find people and tell you where they were when you were looking for them so you can have a much needed chat. As Lillith approached the top of the steps, Lillith was taking more breaths as she got close to the door that would lead to the outside and onto the roof. Once it was opened, she could see sunlight and the very person she was looking for. The door closed behind her. It was really now with no option of a later or never. It had to be done.
Lillith took off her heels off, cursing the shoes that were a pain after those stairs. She took a deep breath and walked towards where Antonio was currently. Walking up to him reminded her of how she got herself into this mess to begin with. Rather than approaching him, Lillith against the railing of the roof. The view of academy was so nice, especially with the new additions that were made thats to donations and overall the reconstruction of the academy.
Lillith sighed as she didn't look at Antonio directly, just kneeling her hand on her chin as she looked elsewhere. "You said we needed to catch up. well here I am." Lillith said with a chuckle as if she was making a joke. Whatever humor the joke created didn't last as Lillith took on a serious face and a sigh could be heard once more.
"You know why here right.... We need to talk before the year really starts..." she said, turning around with her back to the railing. "Should I just say it or do you want to take a swing at it."
Antonio heard the sounds of step and the door leading to the roof opening and closing. He should have known that Lilith would find him, she always could. So how did he know that it was Lilith and not someone else? He didn't, but he just had a feeling and he learned to trust those instincts. Lilith leaned against the railings and made her presence be known; not beating around the bush, she immediately questioned him about the topic they were suppose to discuss. Antonio sighed knowing that this part would be tough for him. "We have to forget everything that happened during that month," Antonio started knowing that this was all a lie; he could not forget. "We took it too far and ending it is the right thing to do," even that was a lie, "I...I love Annie." Was there hesitation in that tone? He wanted to kick himself, no there was no hesitation because he did love Annie. The hesitation came because Annie wasn't occupying all of his heart anymore.
"We should just stay friends...I don't think that anything more can happen between us," Antonio hoped that he was making the lies convincing, but maybe Lilith didn't know him enough to tell when he was lying and when he wasn't. Annie would probably be able to catch him, but that came from her knowing him on not just a physical level, but also a very intimate level. That was something that Lilith and he just didn't have yet. Did that mean he wanted her to know him on that intimate level?
"I hope that you can understand," he wanted to swallow down this next part, but if he didn't say it then he would not have the resolve to stick with his decision. "We do not belong together."
Lillith listened as Antonio as decided to take his swing as it as he told her to forget everything that had happened 'that' month. That ending it was the right thing to do since they took it far. She remained silent as he told her that he loved Annie as well as it was better that they stayed friends. Especially there was nothing that was going to happen to them. Then came the end when Antonio told her that they didn't belong together and he hoped that she could understand that.
Lillith hung her head low, her body shaking a little before she threw her back in a laugh. She let out a good laugh before wiping her eye with the hands that wasn't hoping herself. "Now I knew I should had gone first instead" she chuckled. "I really hope you weren't expecting me to beg and fall over myself or something? And I swear for one good moment you were going to the use that 'It's not you... it' me' lines. Thought according to my memory back, I gave my share of those."
Lillith finally calmed down and spoke. "What did you think can I came here to talk you for? That month was nothing more than sake, drink and relationship woes... nothing more." she said, trying to be convincing. as she just shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly "You worried about your relationship with Annie, my friend, and now you're her hero... her live-in knight in shiny black armor...You got who you wanted"
Lillith snorted under her breath. "You and me and just friends. That's it. I mean really, you weren't thinking that I was expecting a relationship out of that were you." She chuckled again. Normally she would be patting his shoulder but no such things at this time, "Wow, and here I thought I had the imagination and creatively."
Lillith turned herself to look out the scenery. "You don't have worry about or expect any love letters from me. I am more than fine with forgetting and moving on. It was nothing, it meant nothing." she said with final intent and a sharp tone. "Now do you have a red haired Headmistress looking for you somewhere...Now go on get..." she said, moving her hands to shoo him away without giving him eye contact.
Ayami slowly walk up to the roof top to get some air after that blunder of a speech. He hope it was good compared to every one else speeches. Problem of being a new teacher was that he was ill-prepared. At least he was prepared of being fired at least. His only real prepping was clothes for his living area. As he opened the door, refreshing air quickly hit his hold body, it was refreshing to say the least.
He saw two people, two teachers. Miss.Erza and Mister.Reyes. He was shock that two teachers were up here, maybe they were having a private talk about something. He shook his head as he closed the door as silently as possible but failed because of the loud click noise. He just sighed softly to himself hoping he didn't bother them as he simply walk over to the fence as he enjoyed the view and breathed in the fresh air. Such a lovely day and a lovely view put a soft smile on his face as he simply let his worry's drift away hoping they were ignoring him the best they could. They were pretty far off so he couldn't hear them even if he wanted to.
After some time has passed he look over at them happily as he spoke loud enough for both to hear "So... Enjoying the weather? I kinda hope its stays like this for a few more days." He look back at the view with a smile as he spoke kindly "And this view is a lot better than what i could find at home. Yet again all we had was flowers really... Ah~ fun times." He slowly placed his hands in his pockets as he continued enjoying the view and weather.

Lillith turned around when she heard a new sound and then a new voice on the roof. She found herself looking at the newest teacher to join their school. Ayami, the teacher for Healthcare. Overall, not a bad guy. She found the chaos his pokemon created to be assuming to say the least. Best of all, he allowing for a break in the tension that was happening before he appeared.
"Yea.. the weather is really nice." she said as she looked at Ayami. "If my memory serves the weather should be this nice for awhile longer. If not then you can blame it on me." She gave a smile chuckle as she approached the young man. "Flowers...how pretty." she said as heard him talk about what his hometown was like. "Are you busy... I can show you around the campus since I'm done talking up here...Maybe you can tell me more about your town."
With a grin, Lillith locked her arm with Ayami's and start to walk them to the door that led them to the stairs. "How about a tour and then something to eat...My treat since you're new to the campus and frankly I want to see new things they added on as well. Let's go."
As she continued walking, Lillith waved behind her back to Antonio. "See ya later pal. Tell Annie hi and that I have the first lessons ready for class." She turned her head to look at Antonio and grinned as she finally stopped waving. See, I can lie too...
Ayami herd a female voice and look over to see lillith talk. She said he could blame her if she was wrong and chuckled back as he spoke kindly "I wouldn't blame you. After all the weather out of are hands is it not? If your wrong, your wrong. Nothing anyone can do about it." He watch as she walk closer as she spoke. He notice her grin as she locked one of his arms with one of hers. The look on his face showed that he was slightly caught off guard by this.
Normally he took a girl out to eat before they did this. As the walk he spoke kindly "Im not busy, i just have a small box of belongings i need to put away at my dorm and get used to the layout of the building. As for my hometown there not much to say, its known for its lovely fields of flowers and letting wounded pokemon run about with out a care in the world really." He lightly laugh as they continued to walk.
He herd her offer and spoke happily "The tour i will take you up for. But the food i will gladly spend. Im use to spending money for people. So please allow me." As they walk he herd lillith talk to the other teacher and closed the door as they made there way threw out the school

Well class was out. Thank Arceus. Just being around Athena and that Noctowl while Athena was in a less than happy mood was a little unsettling. So Kazu made his way up here, taking a look out over the academy from where Taku's campsite was in a far corner from the door to the roof. Kazu watched over everything. The students far below moving about, socializing, eating, exploring, feeding their pokemon, training their pokemon. Taku himself was eating one of three riceballs while Araquo munched on a little pokebar. As he stood there, he heard footsteps approaching. He turned to see his older brother, Taku, approaching. Kazu, I didn't realize you were up here. Kazu just gave a little laugh. Yes, well... I figured I'd come and visit your new "home". Seems you can't get out of the traveling feeling, huh? Taku just gave his own chuckle. Well I'm not about to take up one of the staff dorm rooms. Especially since I never earned it. How was your first classes?
Mister Jones seemed like the kind of guy you and I both respect. He's straightforward, honest, and doesn't take any crap from anyone. And then Athena... He shuddered a little at the thought of the woman and her Noctowl. She's just... Scary... She gave a taste of what her punishment would be if we messed up... No physical pain, but I just... I'm never going to piss her off... Even by mistake... Taku couldn't help but burst out into laughter. It's not funny! Her Noctowl is the worst... I swear, I am never going to battle that thing even if I have to. Taku finally took a deep breath and stopped laughing, though tears were coming out of his eyes from laughing so hard. My brother, you may not even have a choice. She was overly aggressive even before the Academy was taken back.So what!? I swear, even mother was never that scary.You'll get used to it. I did, even if she doesn't really like me. Let out your pokemon. I'm sure Fliskile and Altair would like to give him some advice. And we do need to get back into our training routine. It's been too long.True.
They went to a clear area where they had plenty of room between the big A/C units. As they began their training in hand to hand combat, Araquo was already out and talking with Fliskile and Altair, the two bigger ones telling the Oshawott about basics in discipline and fighting. As Kazu and Taku did light contact sparring, Kazu started speaking.Have you heard anything from mother or father since I showed up?Not really, but I still have yet to check for any kind of messages. I'll probably get to it later today, though.I see. Well we still have time until mother and our sisters show up. Perhaps I can get your help in capturing another pokemon today after classes are out?I suppose I can do that. I'll be up here when you're ready.Thank you, brother... They continued their practice, quickly getting back into rhythm as they had done so long ago.

Apparel: Picture Gear: Weighted wooden practice sword
It was fairly quiet up here... A slight breeze passing through between the AC units and through Taku's campsite hidden behind the units from the door to the roof. Torch was fast asleep, Fliskile and Altair were sparring with each other. Inugami, a Houndour he caught shortly before Team Rocket invaded the Academy, was resting in the shade of one of the units. She didn't like being awaken in a bad way and the shade she was in was fairly out of the way. And Vectara, Taku's most recent capture while he was in Shamouti again over the summer, was catching the nice breeze while standing on the ledge near the fencing. Taku just stayed in a nice open area of the camp site, swinging his weighted bokken practice sword. It was designed to weigh as much and feel just like his actual katana sword.
While Taku was practicing, he was thinking over the previous day in the cemetery. The words of hate she spoke ringing around in his head. Hearing them coupled with the voice he'd been hearing lately wasn't helping him with his mental state. He left her there without another word, seeing she clearly wasn't in a talking mood and ventured off into the woods for a peaceful place to think and he found a place at the falls. Once it fell dark, he came back here to rest for the night. Now he was here, practicing so he could focus. But even that was failing.
To have killed and hurt as many people as he had and not be left with some kind of emotional or mental scarring would either mean you've been desensitized to it or you aren't human. Taku didn't want to be dehumanized and lumped in with the Belemontes. Hell no! He was determined to try and do right by the people and the students here. But he needed to know where to start. For now, focusing and training was the only thing he could do. He was sure Annie wouldn't want to talk to him and Tony, the only other person he felt he could trust for now, was busy doing something else. And he didn't want to interrupt the resting of his pokemon.
So he swung away in the forms he had trained in with his father and brother. It was a swordsman style unique to the Yamamoto Guardian Family of Shamouti Island. A form meant for the defense of himself and the people around him. And in this case, it was helping him to focus. Helping him to keep calm and out of trouble. But how long would this work on the voice? On the issue he faces with gaining Annie's approval in aiding the students and the academy? Hell, he still needs to see where the teachers stand with him. But he was almost afraid of them not even giving him the time to try. So he trained here, thinking of what to do, trying to ignore the voice...
Tojuro enjoyed the trip greatly, well beside wearing that cat costume. Just thinking about it sent shivers down his spine. Luckily he avoided everyone he knew since they were at the events. So that made it easier but still was challenging not to be seen or so he hope at least.
After working on the part-job he was paid for his hard work. Before any shops closed he bought on impulse, a "Pretty" in his opinion green bracelet. He honestly didn't know why he bought it or what reason he had at the time since it faded. In the end he blame his parents since they pretty much had a few screws loose and as much as he hated to admitted it.... So did he from time to time.
He didn't get to see much of his friends on the field trip since of that part-time work and avoiding them in a cat costume. All he really did was work and sleep so he didn't relax much. He got back on the bus and headed back to school, still asleep on the way there. Once back he just returned to the dorm and continued his sleep.
Once he got up he got dressed, he just threw on what ever was clean and grab his pokemon and headed off. He walk around casually eating a muffin as he found himself on the roof of the school. He would walk as far from the door and sat down against the fence. He let out a yawn as he continued to eat the muffin softly. "What a beautiful day. i think i'll just relax and plan my new cake." He said happily to himself.
Sadly while he was away on the field trip his cake he was working on was eaten by those who were here. He didn't mind since it was gonna get eaten at some point so sooner than later in tojuro book. But for now he would sit there and relax and enjoy the view.
