 LYDIA CROSS Lydia groaned out in a sigh as she walked across campus. This morning had been full of ups and downs, and it wasn't even noon yet!
Standing outside Winks&Jynx, the doors locked, it seemed so unwelcoming. This year really was going to be different... Lydia sighed, about to leave when a girl with long blue hair came with a key to open the doors. "Huh?"
The girl looked up, finally noticing her. And a long stare filled wil silence and blinking began. "Are you... Lydia?"
"Ya, how'd you know?"
"Oh! My name's Tsuki. My cousin Katalina talks about you sometimes, and said to let you in to help display some of the newer looks. I'm minding the store while she and her friends are doing their tour." The girl smiled with sincerity.
"Her cousin?"
"And Katrina's sister will be here soon too. But she goes to the school across the lake, so I'll be here most days."
"A sister!?" Lydia couldn't believe how little she knew about her friends.
"That's why you're here right? To pick something up for your contest class? Christen's doing the same thing for her class." The girl didn't seem to notice how out of place Lydia was.
Again, Lydia sighed. It was certainly a surprise to learn all that! But once inside the daycare, it was back to the same-old same-old. "I wonder if anyone's here..." She looked around. Anais wasn't at the front. "She didn't come back?" Lydia peered around. "Helloooooooo?" No response to her call. 'Guess I'll have to wait a while.' She walked to a small chair. Looking at her new uniform, she smiled. "I kinda miss the brown. Wearing blue is a little different." She looked up again. "I wonder who else came back. I didn't hear from anyone over the summer at all..." She sighed again.

Kenta was in back, finally adjusted to be an intern in Anais' stead. He was welcomed which was nice to see. He hoped that he could do as well as Anais since she had such high comments sound about her. With his pokemon, he was made with taking care of pokemon, the same way he took care of them at home. Despite his height and strength, he was a 'gentle giant' in which he was the one that took care of the pokemon that were sick or young.
With Goku and Audino at his side at the moment, he was taking care of some of the pokemon when he heard someone in the front. "I wonder who that is..." he said as he dried off his hands. Kenta walked to the front of the day care and saw the girl from Partright that was a friend of Anais's.
"You're...Lydia right..." Kenta asked. "The girl I met in Partright with Anais? Hey there..."

 After a nice, long, peaceful, summer, the new school year was finally upon them; Athena was forced to say good-bye to her small family. Before leaving, she and her husband agreed to a better arrangement for Tabitha. It was determined that their daughter would spend two month rotations either at Phoenix Academy with her mother or at back at the mansion with Damian and Haley out on the Orange Islands. Still, hopefully this year they wouldn't be dealing with any fantastic chaos like the last two years (though she admits to being at fault for the first year).
In a simple black dress, which was surprisingly very professional for her, Athena walked into the Day-Care center to say hi to her old friend, Anais Lee. ”Hey Anais, how was your-?” Her question was cut off when she saw that it was in fact not Anais working there in the Day-Care. Though, the boy that was replacing her sure did look an awful lot like her! "Oh I'm sorry, I forgot that she doesn't work here anymore. You must be her brother that she mentioned."

LYDIA CROSS Lydia looked up as soon as she heard anyone. The red hair was right. But... That wasn't the person she expected to see. "Oh ya, you Anais' broth--" She stopped and staggered when miss Lyon came in. And in a dress. Even Lydia didn't see that coming! It was probably a once in a life-time thing to see, considering there was no formal occasion that she could think of. She wouldn't object if her teacher became more feminine and eased up a it in the process. No one would! "Oh, good morning miss Lyon." She greeted her teacher before heading back to the reason she came to the day care in the first place. "Um, it's Kendo?" She knew she messed up the name, just didn't realize how. "I was wondering if I could leave my pokemon here for a while. They're a little too much for me to handle right now," She handed over the pokemon she'd revived from fossil. Three of them. "Is that okay?"

Kenta looked at the girl wondering if he would recognize him when the door of the front entrance opened. Like Lydia, it was a woman that was looking Anais. Seemed that his big sister was more popular that she believed herself to be. Looking at the older woman, the different colors of her eyes and he already knew that she was. Looking her over again, it was wasn't hard to be believe that someone already got to her, put a ring on her and help her made a pretty little girl if she looked at all like her mother. The dress didn't help him either. He caught himself staring as she addressed Kenta.
"Uh...yea.." he said just as Lydia called him Kendo, "I'm Kenta Lee. Her twin brother." Kenta stuck out his hand to shake it. "You must be Athena. My sister talks about you. " Kenta scratched the back of his head with his other hand. "Yea, once she got healed with up, some blonde girl that has an affinity of calling her 'lumberjack' came and got her. So I worked it out that I would intern here."
Kenta's attention returned to Lydia as she asked about leaving some pokemon with him. "Sure." Kenta said with a smile. "Anything to help a student and a friend of Anais." Kenta's larger hands took the pokeballs of the pokemon from Lydia's small hands. "Anything else?"

LYDIA CROSS "Well... I should probably warn you," Lydia sweatdropped. Her pokemon had some behavioral problems. "See, Chomper likes to fight and bite, but Shellhead is really shy and hide in his shell a lot, but Crwal--well--he likes to wonder off." She explained quickly and let out the rest of her held breath. "I've... been trying to work on it..." She gave a guilty look, letting out a pathetic, smiling sigh. "But right now I'm trying to raise my Blaze, Marven and Paras. These guys one at a time are a real handful. I-it's not gonna be too much, right?" She laughed nervously. It probably seemed like she was neglectful trainer, though it wasn't that at all! She actually wanted them in the daycare for a more generous reason: let them out of their pokeballs to practice their social skills. Training alone probably wouldn't do much for that, and daycares were notorious for their breeders helping to improve a pokemon's temper or alter certain behaviors.

Her sweat dropped a little as she saw Anais's brother well... Check her out. It probably wasn't intentional, or at least not at first, and so she let it slide. ”Really? She mentions me? I'm sure they must be horror stories. ” She laughed and grinned easily, well aware of how cruel she was to her students. Speaking of students... This year she was no longer a substitute teacher and had been given not one, but two different classes to teach! "Good morning, miss Cross. I look forward to seeing you and the rest of Class E in my class this year..." Just because she was dressed effeminately, didn't mean that she had to act that way. Her grin became wicked and malevolent; Athena was definitely looking forward to torturing her students this year! Her Gengar appeared at her side, and joined his trainer in malevolency. And though she did actually like Lydia, there was something about her... She couldn't quite place it, that made the young woman want to just "pick on" especially hard. Believe it or not, she was actually in a good mood!
Then her attention turned back to Kenta. "Ah yes, Lili. She's always... Had a thing against Anais and just about everybody else here at the school. But hearing that Anais got taken by her... Man, I almost feel bad. Almost." Sympathy was an emotion she normally lacked. "Though I am glad to hear that she recovered from her injuries. It was strange seeing my best friend in a wheelchair." She got ready to leave, taking Tabby's hand and motioning for her Gengar and Noctowl to follow her. "It was nice meeting you, Kenta. Will you be coming to the assembly?" She asked, before turning to leave. On the whole, she was considerably less cruel to her coworkers and fellow staff; most found her to be much more enjoyable than the majority of her students. Which she was okay with.

Kenta listened to Lydia as she explained that her pokemon had 'problems' Hearing that one was a biter, another was shy and the like to wonder, Kenta just smiled as she went into an explanation of how she was doing training with other pokemon and the other were much for her to handle with the three she was training now. The girl laughed nervously. Kenta just chuckled and ruffled her hair. He was seeing why Anais talked about her as well.
"It will be no problem. I have dealt with pokemon like this before. I mean you haven't know troublemaker until you're chasing a Tauros that wanted to jump a fence." He laughed remembering when him and Anais had to chasing the pokemon. "I'll take care of your little ones here you just focus on your current pokemon and classes. Okay Lydia.. be the best you can be.."
Kenta looked at Athena, "Now now, Anais has not told me any horror stories about you. Rather that you are one of her closest friends with a cute daughter. He listened to Athena talked about Lili, the girl that took his sister away. He really hoped that Anais was okay. When she stopped talking , he bowed. "It was a pleasure to meet you too. I feel welcomed. Very welcomed. I can see what it was hard for my sister to leave here." He blinked when Athena asked about him going to assembly. "I can go.. I thought it was teachers only and I'm not a teacher...I'm just an intern..."

Little Tabby giggled when Kenta called her "cute", and she reached a hand up to greet him. "My name is Tabby~!" She told him, smiling at the redhaired man. "You and aunty have weird hair!" The little girl smiled and giggled, clearly liking their hair color even if it was different from the haircolors she was used to seeing back at the mansion. ”Of course you can go to the assembly! You might not be one of the teachers on the stage, but you can still go there to at least meet the other staff. Most of them don't bite.” Keyword: Most. She couldn't be certain about Lillith. "And, just so you know, my daughter likes to spend time at the day-care here to spend time with the Pokémon. And when I'm teaching class she comes here for the day so that somebody can keep an eye on her. I hope she won't be too much trouble~" Anais always seemed to enjoy Tabby's company whenever she got dropped off, and never complained about her being a nuisance or too much of a handful. So, Athena hoped that the same would ring true for the new day-care intern.

LYDIA CROSS Lydia was relieved to hear that her pokemon probably wouldn't be so much of a problem. "Thanks!" She cheered out. A smile spread across her face. "I'll come by later then and check on them, okay? See ya around!" She waved him off. Though the reality was, she wanted to get away from Athena and her gengar. There was just something creepy about the way they grinned. "Bye miss Athena! Bye Tabby! I'll see you in battles class tomorrow!" She hurried out. After all, there was still her dorm to set. And she hadn't seen who her roommates were yet! And then there was that notice on the news about all the snivy and bulbasaur roaming around. She couldn't miss out on that! Besides, her whole team right now was just perfect for catching them! An Ice type, a fire type, and a grass/bug type! She'd get one of those rare pokemon for sure with a trio like that!

Kenta was waving off Lydia as she left. The girl was happy to hear that her pokemon were in safe hands. Once she was gone, Kenta looked at the little girl and chuckled at her. Especially when she said that him and her auntie, who he could assume was Anais, had weird hair. "And you have pretty eyes like your mommy." he said just as Athena was explaining that even though he wasn't a teacher he was still allowed to go the assembly. That was nice to know. It would be good to know who the teachers were since he was sure that he would be seeing one or two of them throughout the year. Then she went to explain that Tabby liked coming to the daycare and asked him if she could continue to come to the daycare while she taught classes. Kenta nodded his head and then bowed. "Sure Athena.." he said. " Tabby can come here as much as she wants to."

As Lydia left, Athena couldn't help but remember when she and her had been classmates. How life changes so quickly! He made a comment about her daughter's eyes, and she smiled. Suck up! Though, Tabby didn't seem to mind the compliment, as she giggled some more and went over to the Audino to play with it. Of course! ”Awesome, thank you so much! And if she ever causes any trouble, please let me know.” Then Athena remembered that the assembly was going to be starting soon, and she looked up at the clock. It took a second for her dyslexia to calm down and focus on the numbers... Sort of. Not really. The "3" on the clock was replaced by the "5", and the "8" was where the "5" should be, and so on and so forth. Arceus damn it! She hated reading! "Noctowl, what does that damn clock say?" She asked her bird quietly. Noctowl sighed and examined the clock. "It's time to get your butt down to the auditorium, that's what time it is." Noctowl responded via telepathy, preening her feathers.
Baw! "Sorry, but I have to get going to the assembly. Later gator." And with that, Athena picked up her daughter -whom was sad to be leaving her new playmate, Audino- and headed down to the auditorium.

Choosing a path in life is easy, following it to the end is hard  After Battle class was done Briana had dropped Sophie off at her dorm and had gone for a walk. Sophie had promised that it had stopped hurting and she just wanted to sit down for a bit, so Briana had left her alone. So Briana had found herself wondering around campus alone. It was not like she was avoiding her friends per-say, she just wanted some time to think. The last had really rubbed her the wrong way. So bad that she did not even want lunch which was just strange for Briana. As Briana wondered she thought about her class. part of her really wanted to get back at Athena, but how? She had no idea right now. After much of thinking and walking Briana found herself by the campus day care. She shrugged and went inside. Maybe Anais was there and she could talk to her. Anais and Athena were friends, right? Maybe she would have some ideas on how to deal with Athena. "Hello? Anais? Are you here?"When no one answered Briana left, seeing the time she ran straight to dorm to quickly grab clothes for Contest class and was on her way. ((Edited)) Team:
