Perhaps he should have been happy, overjoyed, full of more happiness than the world could offer that she was angry on his behalf. Perhaps being that he probably should have been. Instead, he merely tilted his head a bit at the display.

Oh no, this won't do at all. She wasn't going to let this thing take them down!
And mustering the little strength she had left, she jumped up, hovering slightly as she flapped her arm wings, and kicked the monitor, her talons cracking and going through the screen, making it fizzle. The shock also affected her and made her form shudder, and with a last cry, she raised her arm, giving a valiant shout.
"You can do it!!"

That was kind of... sad. He sort of felt bad at the display of her kicking the thing and vanishing as well. It was probably a good thing he wasn't the most attached person on the planet, or he'd have really felt quite terrible about the whole ordeal with how little good he'd done.

One more swift punch as he felt his strength threatening to give out, but that second wind of strength, possibly caused by that bit of guilt over letting the girl fall he managed to down the thing.
