Lanaom had a question to ask. He really did. Who. Kept. Making. These. Things.
Because just as soon as he thought one was gone and it was safe to move away from others for some downtime. Some simple quiet get over the fact he kept getting hit by things time. ANOTHER ONE SHOWED UP.

Of course, if the thing MOVED when he went to kick it that didn't do him much good. Rather, he missed and instead got a smack smack tot he side for his trouble.

Ok, he really could hit this thing. He'd beaten them five ways to Sunday(what was Sunday?) before! ...but that was with those girls as... sort of helping distractions. Not that he saw them as such, but... well... it had gone after them too. Regardless, this thing was a lot better at dodging when he was alone. Right, perhaps if he tried something else. Even if the thought of dirtying his hands on the thing bothered him. Be a quick change of pace did help as he manage to punch the noisy little thing once.

Alright, distraction done. It was expecting more punches now, right? So rather than that...
He quickly swung around an caught one of the things legs with his own before tugging it down with a slight crash. HAH! Success! Though he'd earned himself a bruise in the process. Best to just hit it while it was down, right? So rather than let the thing get all the way to it's feet he quickly kicked at it a few times, which just made it thrash a bit more.

And then it managed to right itself while he was still taking a moment to rub his legs a bit. They did smart a good bit. Sadly, the last kick to try and send it down again didn't seem to do much good, rather, it lashed out and hit him rather painfully while dodging his blow.

Ok, he really wasn't feeling too well, and the latest lash left him on the floor. Oddly enough though, he felt as if he had a second wind and slowly got back to his feet. Right. Sadly, he still wasn't quite feeling up to it. His movement was a bit too sluggish as he attempted to lash out at the thing again, just a touch too slow as it seemed to dance away while striking him once more.

He did manage to scrape the things surface with a punch as he lashed out again, but it didn't feel like nearly enough. Nope, even as he scratched at the things surface one last time he fell back against another hit. Not in his favor at all. The boy grumbled under his breath as he fell back against the ground before using what strength he had left to drag himself to his feet before it came again. If it hit him again he wouldn't be getting up, which meant getting away before it did that. He'd just... have to come back for a bit of revenge later. After he rested a bit.
