Everyone had run off so quickly after the beat the thing. She hadn't even gotten a chance to properly say goodbye. Which only left her pouting a bit as she wandered the Edge of the World as it was.
Or at least until another of those things showed up. This one wasn't quite as cute and... "I AM NOT A MISTAKE!" And with that she promptly kicked the thing. How dare it call her an error!

And then she had a weapon. Awesome.
Her first thought was stabbing that annoying shadow with it, but then there was another shadow needing help. Poor thing, getting attacked by such an ugly creature. The right thing to do was help, right?

And then there was another girl there helping. One could almost see the happiness blooming in Simply's eyes. MORE FRIENDS~! Her tail wagged a bit as she stared at the girl, nodding at the words. "Right, right! I'm the one that is good!"
Also, she had to admit that girl was good at killing things. Really good at that. Wow. A good girl? "Always! The goddess was happy with my offering and gave me a blessing and I made friends too!" She was always the bestest of best girls.
Which was why she merely kicked the robot thing away when it came near and paid more attention to the nice person who was praising her. Ah, yes, the goddess blessing. To be honest, she shouldn't have been so hospitable to that shadow. She was a contendor too for the position of goddess. She herself wasn't going to give up the opportunity easily, but perhaps, perhaps other shadows may have the answer too? "So, do you know what you're looking for yet?" She was curious, even as the other girl took another hefty swing at the thing. Even she gave it a kick to send it crumpling to the ground.
Being good or not, she still wasn't sure what it was she wanted... what it was she was looking for. "Cause all I got is some homeworky bits. Or something." Honestly, if Mylist was a goddess contender they were probably all doomed.

And then, as she was happily rejoicing over the fact that it wasn't babbling about her being some sort of a line thirteen or whatever mistake... she stepped on more shiny things. She quickly bent over before lifting up not one, but TWO shiny red things.
Huh. Well, they seemed useful enough! Maybe if she gave them to the goddess... "Mine now."

A frown, as she shook her head.
"Knowledge, I presume. I want to know why I'm here, what my purpose is, and... who I really am." It bugged her, deep inside that all she remembered was her name, and even then, she wasn't really sure if that was WHO she was, as those fragments seemed to evoke some sort of hidden memory, now forgotten. Why couldn't she remember?
She watched as the shadow picked something up, and she followed suit, picking up something similar.
These machines sure dropped a lot of strange things...
