Something gave Zauus a cold tingle down her spine. It was different from the rest of the monsters she had fought. Stricken with fear, she braced herself and was hit. She went flying off to the side and landed on the concrete. She looked around for others in the area. This was one battle that she really didn't want to go in alone.

"Shambling or not, you're in my way!" He cried as he struck a quick blow before scrambling away. The attack was light, but it was enough to get an idea of defense and some openings. Pressing up what appeared to be invisible glass-frames, the grey-thing moved a bit away. This creature, whatever it was, did not appear too bright which was good for him. As long as there were four others, he shouldn't be taking the blunt of the attacks on his own.
Though, he had to consider if the other four were as durable as he was.

Maiden was already starting to miss the erorororor things that tried to chase him down, this beast was on a different level, a level that made his body feel tense and the worry began to gnaw at his insides. It was something about the way it stared, the way it moved that just made him want to run for cover.
"This does not feel right, keeping my distance oh dear-" everythig else became a shreik and a desperate scramble for cover away from the thing that tried to grab him. "I don't want a hug!"

Tiek had been trekking along when the bent over figure of the boss appeared. Another being Zauus was fighting it. He watched in surprise as they were flung against a wall. Issuing a soft growl, he lunged and caught a chunk of the boss, but not much. Crap. Falling to the ground, he blinked and wondered what happened.

"Is everyone okay?" Zauus called out. They were all new faces to her. Well, she didn't expect to run into the same exact people in every battle. They all looked competent, throwing punches without hesitation. It settled her little yellow heart to know. She threw another punch but without much success. It missed the boss, leaving her to retreat.

Aeru dug deep before darting forward, but just as he brought his fist down to land a hit, the abomination turned to avoid another attack. Landing into a roll, the grey-thing got up, backing back to the group.
"This thing is a lot more studier than I had thought. It can certainly take a few hits."
Analyze all he wanted, but it wouldn't change the fact that some of their attacks weren't working out in their favor. But he wasn't going to give up just yet.

"Doing alright!" Maiden called out to the other core members, the one that had the presence of mind to check in with its partners. He himself just wanted to go find a way to avert his eyes from the beasts unwavering gaze.
It felt as if it was looking right through him. "Ok, those eyes, need to go." he declared gruffly, taking a chance to poke at them. Or much to his dismay poke into and past them, and it did nothing to stop the stare.

Tiek felt an odd mix of things when Ryjer growled at the monster and defend him. His blow landed firmly on he best. Smiling, Tiek patted Ryjer's back.

Maiden was losing it, losing all his nerves around the creature and its arms that was constantly reaching for him. "IT WONT STOP STARING. PEEPING TOM!" The grey being roared and punted it in the shin.
