I stood quietly as I listened to our leader Julia explain what we were doing out here.

It wasn't long before her partner digimon, ChaosGallantmon started to speak as well.

I wasn't sure why we needed to go farther in, It wasn't like we were going to be practicing against the wild digimon.

Newton cut me off before i could agree with Dorothy, we were pretty far in as it was, and there were no Light Fangs to be scene.

After walking for a while we stopped and newton insisted on going farther in. I'm really starting to wonder if Newton is afraid of the Light Fang or the rest of the Night Crows or just plan paranoid.

I shared a look with Dorothy and we continued deeper into the ruins, it wasn't long before we ran into one of the higher ranked tamers.

Finally it was time for us to practice battling.

or not as Dorothy started to babel about basic battle instructions.

Although she was right about newton not giving good instructions to his digimon.

Deimos and Lykos were able to beat his Kokuwamon without getting a scratch.

After the easy win, Newton refused to believe he was giving bad orders to his digimon.

Just as Dorothy and I were going to start our battle the ground started to shake violently!

"An earthquake." I responded to them before the vilemon appeared. "Newton I think they said, that they were going to kill us."

"How should I know?" I shouted as I prepared for battle. I defeated the single Vilemon that attacked me with ease.

“Of course, keep an eye out in case more Vilemon show up"

I smiled a bit at the banter between the two of them.

It was a quick long walk to the area we had thought about stopping in. The other Night Crows had tried to follow us and were now surrounded by the vilemon.

Seeing them struggling to beat the virus type digimon.

The battle was another easy victory, I was able to beat both the vilemon with ease.


I nodded to Gutts before turning to Barone. "I was just on my way to tell Chief Julia"

I finaly got back to the starting area, and saw the Chief take out three Vilemon.

I went to inform her that Newton was injured and others where shaken up but fine when I heard a creepy laugh and turned to see a strange person cloaked in red. The Chief ran off to confront him.

The man vanished before Chief Julia and ChaosGallantmon could get to him I walked up to them and informed about the attacks and that Newton was injured. We went back into the deeper parts of the ruins to gather the other members of our team. Once everyone was back at the meeting point we had another discussion.

I wasn't worried I was confidant I could take care of them after today’s incident and I knew that our Leader would do her best to find out what was going on.

Weirdness and Chaos at the ruins or not, the Normal tournament was tomorrow.

We would beat the Light Fang at the match!

The next day started with a sweeping victory for me in the Group A of the Normal T ornament. I defeated the competition with ease. After winning my group I left the coliseum to get a sandwich and make sure my team was at full strength. The next match that I had was the finals. While I was gone Newton was apparently preparing a speech for me.

Which he sprung on me the second I got back to the Coliseum.

"They're all gonna laugh at you!" I respond before turning serious and following him.

He scolds me for being late and the stops and stares at the TV monitors.

The Screens show Gutts and His digimon fighting Koh of Light Fang.

After a bit of cheering for our team mate we head into the waiting room.

Chief Julia seemed relieved that I had made it back on time. I wasn't all ways late.

I got a few words of praise from ChaosGallantmon before the focus was shifted back to winning the tournament.

Gutts arrived back in the waiting room after his match, he had lost to Koh.

Which ended up sparking some infighting in the group.

Which was broken up by Barone and Dorothy.

It seemed that Koh had swept the Group B the same way I had with group A.

ChaosGallantmon and Chief Julia left the waiting room and I followed them, it seemed that they had left to meet up with the leaders of Light Fang, Chief Glare and his partner digimon Ophanimon.

After a short introduction, they began to talk about my potential.

I was pleased to find that Chief Glare believed that I was an Impressive tamer. I wasn't surprised when they brought up one of their own.

A voice spoke from some were near the Light Fang waiting room, the boy walked over to us after speaking introduced himself.

"I'm Miyu, Group A champion; It's nice to meet you."

"I too will do my best Chief Julia, Chief Glare!"

"I will Chief" I responded, I was more than ready to fight Koh and see just how strong he was.

Koh was already in the arena when I entered; the Night Crows were in the stands to the right and were shouting encouragements.

Yes, a win today, would be the perfect way to start the competition, and I had no intention of losing. Koh seemed to be as eager to start the fight as I was.

The referee started with introducing us to the spectators.

and then it was time to start the match.

Although Koh was stronger than the other people I had fought in this match, having a Champion and Ultimate level digimon on his team as well as a rookie. My digimon were able to defeat him with little damage to them selves.

I was declared the champion of the Normal Tournament, The Leaders were Ecstatic.

Koh was furious at first but manged to calm down and declared the standard rival you wont win next time phrase.

The crowed went wild. After the match we met up with Chief Glare and Ophanimon.

I agree with Ophanimon, Koh won't let his defeat here end his attempt to be the best.

We were about to follow Chief Glare's example and head home when the creepy guy from Yesterday showed up.

We chased him down and had him surrounded when he teleported away.

Chief Glare was confsued by the whole situation.

and Chief Julia filled him in on the events of the day before.

I was not aware that the server had been acting weird.

Chief Julia went back to collect the others and we left the Digi-Coliseam and went back to DarkMoon City.

After checking the city and helping the Injured Cheif Julia let me at a quick nap before gathering the others who had been asleep during the attack and put us to work.

Gutts and Ponch did nothing but complain.

Newton and I were surprised when Dorothy came over and told us that Chief Julia wanted us.

We quickly finished the parts we were working on and walked off too met the Chief.

Who started off with a status report of the city and what the others and I had manged to bring back up.

I felt bad that we hadn't be able to restore more areas, but I didn't know the server well so it was a slow process bringing things back online.

We were cut off from Sunshine city? Was this an attack from Light Fang, or had they also been attacked.

Sunken tunnel huh? If I remembered correctly, it was home to aquatic and machine type digimon.

"I wonder what else they are trying to do" I mused aloud, clearly the city wasn't the only goal as it wouldn't have tried to take over the Chief and CG's minds. We were interrupted by Ponch and the others barging in on our conversation.

The Chief slapped them down immediately, I was not surprised, we needed as many people as we could get to fix the city.

They tried to argue they were strong enough, but I knew the only reason the chief was sending me was because I had been able to beat the enemy before.

ChaosGallantmon thundered at them and they backed off.

He sighed after they had left. We needed to get the city working as soon as possible.

"Yes! Chief Julia, I accept the mission to Sunken Tunnel! Don't worry I'll be careful"

I went into the Market area, to stock up on the supplies I'd need for the tunnel.

I over heard a Tamer talking to his Tentomon, about Farm Islands.

It wasn't to long before I got a call from Phascomon on my Digivice about getting a Farm Island.

I sighed as the call ended, I needed to get to the Sunken Tunnel but she'd be waiting for hours if I left before getting the Island.

"Yes, I am Miyu." I pulled the card out of my wallet and handed it to him

"Silver, Moon, Luna, Dark." I mumbled quietly to myself as I tried to think of a name so that I could get to the Tunnel. "Eclipse" I said, Lunar Eclipses were both dark and involved the moon, sort of like what the city was named.

We waited a bit for the pass to go though, the systems were lagging due to the attack and having just recently been restarted.

My Digivice flashed alerting me that Phascomon had called me back.

She informed me that she had finished setting up the farm form our end.

I smiled a bit at her excitement, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the Farm, but I had no time to mull over it.

She left the the screen of my Digivice changed from a background of the Digital City to The Farm Island I had acquired.

After purchasing the items I needed to get though the Tunnel I head out of the city, only to get stopped by the Guards.

"No need to apologize, it's best to be on alert after the attack" I said as they tried to apologize for holding me up.

"What!" I shouted in surprise, Other three? "Don't tell me those idiots didn't listen to the chief."

I ran to the transport area and saw the three of them arguing with a Silver tamer.

They all spoke quickly and jumped on the transport before anyone could stop them.

The Silver tamer was furious and Started calling the Chief up before Ponch even got on the transporter.

"Normal Tamer, Miyu, on assignment form Chief Julia" I flashed my tamer ID at Him before running onto the transporter, Hopefully I could catch them before they got too far into the Tunnel.

I was not in the tunnel for long before I ran into Barone, who seemed relived to see me.

"The wild digimon are attacking?" Its just like Thriller Ruins, that seemed to confirm that the purple thing that attacked us was related to the figure in red.

"Yeah, you should go back Barone, They need you to help with the systems, even if it doesn't seem as glorious as charging into find the attacker, its just as important."

"It's okay Barone, and I will find them, I promise to help them"

I pointed her to the way out and then continued on my journey though the tunnel.

The wild digimon were indeed attacking. Deimos and Lykos were able to get stronger as we battled while exploring every inch of the tunnel.

While exploring I found a valve that was turned on and shut it off. (forgot to screen it so I took one of me clicking on it afterwards)

There were more battles and I got 100% scans for Kapurimon and Betamon, making them my two digimon for the area.

I found another valve and shut it off before running into a road block.

I manged to find the key for the door lock and put the road block down.

After a bit more of exploring I finally found Ponch and Gutts.

They seemed to be having difficulties with a Raremon.

Gutts had the right idea of trying not to piss of the digimon any farther, once again I was called into help.

"Yes I do believe I can beat you" I said confidently.

"Raremon, a champion level Virus type digimon in the Nightmare Soldiers family. Its Special attack is Breath of Decay." I said sounding like a digimon analyzer before my digivice scanned him.

The battle was long and Raremon had the advanage of being a Champion and a higher level than my Rookie digimon. It a few Digitar but I manged to beat him.

Lykos and Deimos leveled up and I was able to relax a bit.

Raremon seemed confused after i beat him up.

He apologized for sleep fighting and went home.

I twitched when Gutts flipped out on me for saving them. "YOU ASKED ME TO HELP!" I shouted at his retreating form. "Maybe next time I'll let it stomp all over you before stopping it then!"

I huffed and turned to Ponch sighing. "If you say so, and you're welcome."

We got accosted by more digimon before we manged to get to the exit.

When I finally made it back to DarkmoonCity and the Union Room, ChaosGallantmon was still chewing out Barone and the others.

Julia manged to rein him in and was glad to see that I made it back safely.

It seemed that I didn't have much to add as the others had told Julia what happened.

"That's not good" I said worriedly, that meant that nearly all the digimon in the Digital World would be going berserk like the ones in Sunken Tunnel.

"Yes Sir! I will do my best!"

I was glad that I was no longer needed for the systems check, it meant I could finally catch up on my sleep.


Gutts was his normal annoying self and Barone apologized.



I laughed as the three argued amongst themselves. I nodded to ChaosGallantmon that was another reason to keep them close, We who had been in the tamers homes at the time of the attack were the only ones with digimon who were above In-training and thus the best to defend the city against a second wave.

Chief Julia and Raigo were both as worried as ChaosGallantmon. As I left the Union Room, I heard a voice.

It appeared to be a Kabukimon talking to its tamer.

It was odd that the digimon was still digivolved.

I followed them into the Center and tried to figure out how the digimon was above rookie as it talked about the quest givers

Kabukimon was an Armor evolution digimon, had the Armor level digimon not been effected like the rookies?

Or had their trainer evolved them back into Gatomon, a champion before using the digiegg on them. I sighed and walked out, it would do little good trying to figure it out know, no one really understood the virus.

I headed home and slept for a while before getting up and starting up the Digilab PC,the Virus had hit it hard and the systems had been slowed down so much that Julia had put an edict if effect that you could only convert two digimon from an area in order to keep the servers from crashing.

I selected Kapurimon and a started the process.

A few moments latter and the data condensed into a Kapurimon who looked at me curiously as I named him.

I put him in my digivice as a backup as I started the process of converting another digimon.

It didn't take the computer log to create my Bettamon.

I named him and sent him into the digivice as well. I turned to my digimon, "Things are Happening fast now guys, If you guys get turned into a digiegg, I won't be able to wait for you to hatch again and raise you guys up again, not with everything thats going on. Chief Julia needs us at our strongest, I'm sorry if any of you end up getting left behind. I promise that no mater what happens, once this is all over if any of you have died I will turn you into the strongest team there is!"
Artemis smiled at me "I would expect no less of my tamer, The City comes before all of us, I will wait if need be." Deimos growled lowly, "I don't plan on losing to any weaklings. So don't worry about me." Lykos laughed "Well I think that makes this whole situation a lot more fun." Alexius and Pelagius were a bit more hesitant than the others but they both agreed to stick with me anyways. I grinned at them "All right lets get training then!"

I had been so used to them being able to decimate everyone they faced with ease before the attack, it was odd to suddenly struggle against a champion when we fought ultimates with little trouble. The fight with raremon had proven that I needed to work them back up to their old strength. It didn't take long before Alexius and Pelagius started to catch up with my main team.

Alexius hit his max level and was able to digivolve.

It didn't take me long to choose which evolution line I wanted for Alexius.

started the process that turned him into the rookie leveled Hagurumon.

As we trained I continued moved around the tunnel trying to see if there was anything that I missed. I found a purple portal and went though it, I ended up in one of the Dark Areas, I guessed that Gutts and the others had manged to bring it online while I had been training.

We continued training until everyone had it their max Aptitude, Artemis manged to learn a new skill, Raging Waters that was able to hit two enemies at once. After that I went back to the City and bought some equipment, Bronze Blades increased their attack by nine.
