There was much exploring to be had, and Thiamas, now that he had taken on a truer form, was ready to wander around with his new friend in tow, taking in the sights, revelling in all that there was to learn, but all the while feeling like something was still missing. And then suddenly something strange approached. It startled the small shadow being, his faded wings flaring behind him in surprise. He wasn't sure what to think of it at first, except that it must be a bad thing. A very bad thing that was heading straight towards them! Jumping in front of his friend, not wanting the other to be harmed, he swung at the thing with shadowy claws that glanced off of a metal shell with a scrape. The little blue-cored shadow stared in shock as the creature ambled towards them. This was not... Not something good at all! He began to feel the stirring of a new emotion, fright. He could only stare in shock as his companion stepped in front of him, clearly attempting to act as a shield. Electricity buzzed and crackled, and then the little shadow felt another new thing. And like the fear, it wasn't a good thing. Pain. How had they stumbled into harm's way, when they had just been so glad to get their forms? Another of these strange beings ...?? Upon sensing the two being assaulted by one of the creatures, Wiki could not stand idly by. He barreled forward and struck a quick jab at the beast, hoping to lure it away from the smaller one.OOC

There was pain. A jolt that made him cry out and then quietly whimper, but he didn't shy away or back down. Another figure with a blue core like their own had come to aide them, and for that Thiamas felt what could only be gratefulness. Taking a shaky and apprehensive step forward, he attempted to strike at the thing a second time. The little shadow stared with frightened eyes as the other two attacked, he had to do his best too! He thought maybe he could ignore the pain, his companions would be hurting as well and yet they still attacked. He tried... He tried so hard, but his attack just glanced right off the creature's metallic hide. He could sense the other's fear, and their pain as the creature swung them about with barely a scratch to it's surface. No, he couldn't allow this! Digging his feet into the ground he launched towards the strange beast, bringing his fist around.
It was a solid blow, and the creature almost seemed to shriek as it reeled back.

This was desperate. Neither her nor his friend really seemed to know quite what they were meant to be doing, and he looked at his companion with a sad look. Again there were words that he felt like he could say, something along the lines of "let's not give up!" or "we can do this, we just need to try harder!" but the words were still muddled in his head, still giving him too many contradicting options.... And then the other shadow, the new one, stepped in, and hit the scary figure with a blow that was astounding! Thiamas looked on with eyes that had gone wide, his mouth an "o" of surprise. Was that how it was supposed to be done? Maybe he could mimic that move and do something similar.... Jumping forward, he did his best to copy what the other shadow had just done, swinging, and connecting with the creature solidly. The little shadow stared, wide-eyed. First at one, and then the other companion. There was renewed vigour in the air! They were going to beat the sparking, ugly machine thing! With a determined huff, the little shadow kicked the thing. He must have caught it on a joint, because it actually did damage this time. Thiamas ended up getting caught fairly easily as well, and flung in another direction opposite of the shadowy man before him, and just when he had thought they were doing quite well. He wondered, as he crashed into the ground, if maybe his little friend could be the one to save them from this thing. At this point he was just hoping to have this little battle over and done with. With an angry little cry he jumped forward and slashed at the thing repeatedly with his claws, angry that it was hurting him, that it was hurting all of them, when they'd done nothing to deserve it. When it was all over and done with, he was staring at a broken machine, one that was fading back into the fog. He let out a small whoop of victory!
