Sharps snarled, launching herself at her opponent. She misjudged the distance, however, and landed in front of it rather than on top of it. She swiped her claws, grazing the creature, before it's arm swung around and tossed her to the ground. Eidhis looked on the ground for more fragments. She wanted to get this over with as quickly as she could and just relax. She was a lazy grey figure but did what she had to do. An unfamiliar sound struck her ears. It didn't sound like anything she had heard before. WHOA! Before she knew it, she was almost struck when she was picking up a shard. She stuck her feet in and let out a kick at the mechanical monster before her. It seemed to have thrown another being to the ground. Eidhis had to help them. There was that...girl again, fighting another monster like before. He started skulking towards it, already curling his claws inwards as he readied himself for a second go with this experiment--and then somebody else appeared. He'd felt her heart, but he hadn't known she was as close as she was. Imuiel watched her land a decent hit, trying to make one of his own immediately after and missing. The resulting smack in return was certainly a bit much when compared with what he'd done, but he'd given it an effort, at least. With any luck, this time would go better than the last.
"Why is it that--this keeps happening?" he called to Sharps, sounding both curious and slightly exasperated. Now looking to Eidhis, Imuiel shifted to a more combat-oriented stance in preparation for another assault. "I...apologize that you are...dragged into this. "It's okay!" Eidhis replied cheerfully. It wasn't as if it hurt her or anything. Well at least not yet. She tried to land another punch but missed. The first kick must've been beginners luck. "So... Do you know how we go about killing this thing?" Killing. The concept came to her naturally even though her fighting skills were a little subpar. Kicks and punches seemed to work but were unreliable. Sharps yelped as the monster's arm swung around again, the shock from the unexpected attack causing her to miss a prime opportunity to strike. "Oh dear, yes I am quite sorry you've been dragged in here. This creature here seems quite intent on removing us from this plane of existence. She grimaced, a hand on her left shoulder that was now flaring with pain from a previous battle with this thing. "I suggest we just do our best and try to not be killed!" "Advisable. Eliminate the threat." Imuiel wasn't sure what Eidhis meant by killing, but something definitely connected that it wasn't anything good. He frowned inwardly, getting caught up enough in his thoughts of that to where he entirely missed once more, remaining silent as the boss struck him again.

Eidhis giggled. It felt like the right response to the situation. It was kind of fun and exhilarating. She leaped up and landed a kick on the creature on it's arm. She was a little off target, but it got the job done. "Don't worry about it!" She said as she landed. The other two seemed apologetic about her being here. "This is fun!" She laughed as she prepared to attack again. He really hadn't been kidding when he said that he needed to improve. Eidhis rushed over to help but her blow missed. So much for being heroic. "Sorry." She said to Imuiel. At least his hits were landing, though he seemed to be taking damage as well. She wasn't in any better situation as the monster landed a scratch on her in the process of her punch.
