Remye Gnorelan had been wandering on her own for some time, and was quite surprised to see the poor little thing crawling towards her. The clicking noises were unsettling but it seemed more damaged than dangerous.
At least, until it was close enough to scratch at her. She yelped, jumping back, and kicked at the thing's reaching, clawing fingers. "Ow!"

Another swipe at the creature resulted in the same damage done, and more to her since it recoiled with a clawing smack at her. She hissed at the pain, sinking back from it with a scowl.

The constant clicking was grating on the poor girl, and disoriented her enough to miss the next strike entirely. But it didn't miss its clawing reach, and managed to grab her, clawing at her before she could kick it off with a snarl.

She was becoming ever weaker against the attacks of the creature. It was like it never stopped. She slumped away from it, striking out like a wild thing and managing a weak strike as she slunk back from the creature.

Though she had no hope of winning, in her increasing desperation to at least leave a mark on this terrible creature, she managed to land a brutal strike, taking her damage in stride as she lunged and hit the creature before shrinking back.

The next strike was weak, and proved to be her last as the creature gave a solid whack to the girl. She crumpled, her will to fight gone, and only by sheer will of power did she managed to slink away from the battle.
She'd lick her wounds and try again, perhaps with an ally or two.
