He had pushed himself back up, as Albroit laughed at him, and had started following the other. Apparently they were a lot closer than the blond had first thought, which was a good thing, because Getsu was starting to worry that they had been gone too long. If that were the case, then the guards at the Gates of the Village wouldn't be too pleased with them returning late. Well, if it happened it couldn't be helped either way. As the forest vanished and sand took its place, the white haired Genin again took note of the sound of the other's feet. He really was noisy... And he recalled Albroit saying that he could control the sound with Chakra, which would make covert operations with him a bit taxing and tedious, if the other was always having to concentrate to keep silent, so his attention would be halved between that and whatever mission they were doing.
Unlike his partner, his footfalls were silent, the sand shifting slightly under his feet as he walked. He wondered what this Valley of Rumors... or was it Valley of Patience? Albroit had called it both. Either way, he wondered what it would be like. Was it inhabited by a lot of Vultures? Or was it another hidden village that housed Shinobi? What would it look like? Who else would be there? He pulled his half mask back up over the lower half of his face, seeing as how he was now dry thanks to his friend's attack...er, attempt... to dry him. He crossed his arms behind his head as they walked, looking over to Arichan and Albroit, unsure of what to say next. His back was sore, he knew that much. It would probably leave a nice bruise there later.
Albroit noticed that the desert was getting more rough and heavy as they walked. The vulture was coordinating them towards the valley, was the route this hard without such a beast? He looked at Arichan, the bird had coordinated them both since the beginning of the travel. Slightly pulling his nails into his shoulder every time he needed a direction. It made the route a lot shorter. Well that was his thought on it. They crossed both a small part of the lightning country and the entire fire nation in just a day. He looked at the bird. "How come you know all of these routes so well?" The bird showed the boy a smile. "I like to fly around the world. I made travelling my specialty. Saying that, it is needed if you are a vulture. The valley is very well hidden. Genins like you could never reach it alone!"He smirked at the boy. Albroit looked at him a bit sarcastically. "I may be dumb but you sure are the weirdest bird I've ever seen". The bird was offended by that. He started screaming at Albroit with a comical voice. "How do you- Why do you!" The bird couldn't find the words needed. He ended his sentence and grumpy screaming with a arrogant puff. Albroit laughed at him. But this conversation had only distracted him for where they were walking. This entire area was quite rocky. It was like they were walking on mountains. He noticed the height difference of the area, were they close to Sunagakure? He was looking at Getsu. He didn't worry about his own body keeping up with such a walk. But could the boy do that aswell? He was a lot thinner than Albroit, not forgetting the clear age difference aswell.
As they continued the travel Albroit got a bit bored. He looked at Getsu. He wanted to know some stuff about his companion. A little bit of chitchatting couldn't hurt. "Are you from a clan or so Getsu?" He wondered if Getsu had some legendary siblings or came from a clan. Since he himself was just a boy from a regular family, well merchants weren't that regular. But it was a start. Knowing as much information as possible could only work into his benefits. If they were to get into trouble. That being said, they could end up in the same squad when they returned to Kumogakure, this trip would only strengthen that bond. He wondered how far this so called Valley was. If it really was home to gigantic creatures like King Nobirindan, then why couldn't he see it?

The white haired Genin had taken to watching the clouds as they walked, while at the same time keeping a mind on his footing. The incident in the forest was still fresh in his mind... and his sore back. The landscape was a stark contrast the the lush forest they had just went through, with rocks and sand as far as the eye could see. It had its own natural beauty though, the way the sand laid across the openness of the desert looking area in waves, the way that the rocks jutted out and broke up the otherwise flat landscape. Getsu was glad they had come through this area when the sun was starting to set, he could only imagine what it would have been like trying to trek through this open country when the sun was high and fully blazing down upon you. Probably really really hot... he thought with an inward grin.
Arichan and Albroit started up again, with the blond first asking how the bird knew such shortcuts. The obvious answer came from the creature as he said that he enjoyed traveling, and it was needed for a Vulture, since the Valley could be rather hard to find. He commented that without him, Genin like themselves wouldn't be able to even find it. So he is a Genin... A Genin with a rather powerful Jutsu. That had been a Chuunin level technique he had used back there hadn't it? Interesting. He's stronger than he looks... Though honestly, if one were to put him and Albroit side by side and ask which was the stronger, they would most likely pick Albroit. The blond was muscled, his shoulders broad and his arms... well, noticeably larger compared the to thinner, leaner, and shorter Getsu. He's probably physically stronger... and maybe even faster... he mentally sighed, I should have listened to my father and focused more on one subject. Oh well, better to grow and learn than to start off foolish and have to fight to get anything. he thought. He knew Kenjutsu, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu. He also knew his family techniques, Raiton techniques, and had read a bit on Summoning creatures like Arichan there, though he had yet to get to a point where he could really manage it. Because of this, his over all power in each subject was... lacking for better words. However he made up for it with his versatility in battle. Or at least, he had hoped that was how it would turn out, he had yet to actually be able to test his theory out.
Albroit's voice brought him out of his thoughts, and he turned his head to look at his traveling companion. Did he come from a clan? Getsu smiled and gave a soft chuckle, "I do actually. I come from the Hatake clan of Shinobi." he pointed at his white hair, his eyes closing in his smile once more, "White or silver hair is a genetic trademark of our clan. I'm sure there are those that have white hair that aren't in our clan though, but you won't find any that are Hatake without it. At least, that I know of." he replied before letting his fingers clasp behind his head again, "So what about yourself? Do you belong to a clan?" it seemed like the natural response, the question able to be asked back since the other had inquired first.
Albroit scratched his head when the young boy told him he was from the Hatake clan. "Hatake? Do they have anything special besides the hair colour? I remember reading about the Uchiha once having some kind of special eye". He showed a big smile towards Getsu. He liked the last name. Getsu Hatake, it had a certain ring to it! He looked at the boy again. "Yeah I would think that not anybody with white hair was from your clan. My father sure isn't with his grey leftovers". He laughed hard at his own joke. He was pulled out of his dream as he felt his bird companion shiver. "What is wrong Arichan?". The bird bit on his beak a bit. "Oh it is just a natural response. Most vultures fear the Hatake clan, since we are very weak to Lightning". The bird loosed up a bit and looked at Getsu. "Don't get the wrong idea, anything that has something to do with lightning scares the crap out of me". The vulture would blush if he could. Albroit looked up at the bird. Never would he expect such a big beast to tell him that he was afraid of lightning. He smiled at the beast. Shooting his hand up. "Raiton" The bird quickly jumped from his shoulder with a scared look on his face. Albroit smiled with an evil grin towards the beast. He finished his line. "Bullshit no Jutsu!". He laughed at the bird who flew towards him with his arrogant face. He slapped Albroit. "I swear to god, you sure are 'special'. Albroit laughed even harder.
He stopped laughing and continued to smile when Getsu asked if he was from a clan. "No, I don't have any cool power to be honest". He let out a soft sigh. But then he looked up at Getsu again. "I guess the best unlock a special superpower when they get older eh". He let out his big smile once again. He didn't really care if he wasn't from a clan. It wasn't his type of thing anyhow. The things that he had read about the Uchiha made him shiver. The strict policy and loyalty. Not to talk about the intelligence levels! He was not dumb but he could never match a Uchiha. Well he never met one before. He just tapped himself on the shoulder. "I'll make my own clan then". He looked from Getsu towards Arichan, he was getting a bit bored by this endless journey. He hoped they were near. "Hey Arichan, how far until we reach the valley?". He knew it had to be far. Since they did not see a gigantic structure of some sorts show up. The vulture smiled. "It is not that far, we will get there soon".

Getsu nodded as the boy mentioned the Uchiha clan's special eyes, asking if there was anything else special about the Hatake clan, "Yes, the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan, its a Kekkei Genkai that allows them to see Chakra and stuff like that. My clan doesn't have anything like that, though one of my Ancestors did possess a Sharingan eye that he acquired from a comrade. Really the only thing that my clan has that's a little different is that we have white colored Chakra, and tend to over all be a little faster and more nimble than your average ninja, but that parts really only because we tend to start training really early." He chuckled softly, though even for a Hatake, he was a bit on the slow side. Again, one of the drawbacks of trying to learn multiple things rather than focusing on a select few. He nodded again as Albroit mentioned his father having white hair, though that was from the natural aging process as opposed to being born with it. He looked over as Arichan shuddered, mentioning that most Vultures were afraid of the Hatake because they were weak to Lightning. Getsu smiled under his mask, his eyes turning up at the corners as he brought a hand from behind his head, giving the bird a thumbs up, "No worries Arichan-sama, I don't plan on turning my techniques against you or your kind."
Then Albroit did something that caused Getsu to turn his attention to him. He was, of course messing with the bird, as the white haired Genin remembered him saying that he had the Fuuton affinity earlier, and not Raiton. He thrust his arm into the air like he was going to do a Jutsu, calling out the element name of Lightning, and sending the bird squawking and leaping from his shoulder. It was all a ruse, and one that had the bird scowling at his partner and calling him special. Getsu chuckled softly and again crossed his arms behind his head, looking forward again as Albroit asked how much further it was going to be. It had felt like they had been walking for forever...
Then he saw it, it seemed to come up out of nowhere. It was a large crevice located in the middle of the desert, standing at least a good 15 meters in height, and 50 meters in width. Getsu stopped, looking over to Arichan and Albroit, a hand coming out to point at it, "Oye, is this it?" it seemed like the only structure they had come to yet, so it was plausible...
