Muse - Uprising

The crowd let out a mixed reaction, to sound of Talon's entrance music. Soon enough The Bird of Prey walked out from the back with a stern look on his face. Stopping at the top of the ramp, Talon ran a hand down his jaw and chin, before clearing his nose. He then held his arms straight out to his sides, his hands open in an embracing fashion. Holding the pose for a few moments, Talon began his descent down the ramp towards the ring. Approaching the ring, Talon sprinted forward, grabbing the ropes and hopping onto the apron near the corner. Getting to his feet Talon climbed the outside of the turnbuckle, brings his arms up and down trying to get a louder reaction out of the crowd. "Come on! You can do better then that!" He said without the assistance of a mic. After a few moments of standing on the turnbuckle and scanning the crowd, Talon hopped into the ring, circling the inside of the squared circle once before asking for a mic. Much like when Stone Cold called for a beer, a mic came flying through the air. Talon easily caught it. Pacing the ring for a few moments, Talon spun and twisted the mic in his hand as he waited for the crowd to quiet down so he could speak.
"Let me start off by saying, I am not out here to entertain you.."
Talon stopped pacing and as he spoke, gesturing towards the crowd.
"I'm not out here to sell my new T-shirt, or to promote F:G's next Pay-Per-View.. I'm not out here as an advocate of this 'Era of Change', nor am I out here to stake a claim at any title."
With his free hand Talon did the quotation gesture as he referenced Chrono's imposed new era.
"What I came out here for, is to get a few things off my chest. So indulge me as I speak my mind.. You see last week Chrono talked about relevance, and how YOU the people want a clear definition of who's bad and who's good. Basically what he's saying is that he wants everyone to see things in black and white. What he is forgetting is those areas in between.. Those shades of gray.."
Talon paused as he let that last statement sink in.
"You see this industry was built around those shades of gray. People like Stone Cold, people like Shawn Micheals, and people like The Rock! You see people like that where those areas in between. Everyone cheered for them, everyone could get behind their struggles, their causes.. They were people they could believe in.. DESPITE the fact outside of this ring, they did things that they would be labeled 'The Bad Guy'.."
Again Talon paused, once again using the quotation gesture as he spoke those last three words.
"Chrono has drawn a line in the sand and said your either on this side or that side."
Talon paused once again, shaking his head in disagreement as a arrogant smirk appeared on his face.
"Which brings me to this... Chrono you said I was better when I was working for EEW Speed.. It's funny that you say that, cause when I was working on Speed. I was one of those shades of gray, walking that proverbial line. I did and said the things bad guys do, and I did it with people cheering me on.."
Taking a moment, Talon scanned the crowd as he was receiving a loud mixed reaction.
"Then I came here... The F:G!"
Talon said to a huge pop from the crowd.
"I came here with a new outlook on things. I wanted to be the 'Good Guy'. I wanted to be the guy that told you to say your prayers and take your vitamins. I even tried getting me a decent woman to call my girlfriend. Long before Chrono decided that YOU the fans wanted a clear definition of who's who. But where has that gotten me? I'm a one time Money In The Bank winner, and I got a spot in the Main Event at WrestleMania, but nothing to show for it... Cause I wanted to be the 'Good Guy'..."
Talon continued to use the quotation gesture as he mention, good guy. Pausing Talon looked around as he the reaction from the crowd remained mixed, a response Talon had expected at this point in the promo. However he planned for that to change very soon.
"So last week I Told Chrono that if he wanted the old me, then he would get it. So I'm taking the risk, and going against the grain Chrono has set out, and I will be that in between nonsense. Sometimes I will be good, and sometimes I will be bad, and YOU!"
Talon paused for a brief moment as he pointed out to the crowd.
"You people will cheer me for it."
Then in that moment the crowd did cheer, assuring that they were still Talon's fans, even if he was going to be doing bad things or not. Then with the same stern mug on his face Talon blindly tossed the mic to ringside near the timekeeper's booth. He held his hands out to his side in an embracing fashion, as his music hit the PA once again.
