Group Structure
These Girls are about one thing more than anything and that is Girl Power. These ladies are largely in charge, they know what they want, and they aren’t going to apologize for going after it. Hurting scions of Order is never something they are going to feel bad about; they are out to dominate and eliminate the enemy. If bitchin’ Girl Power isn’t something that your character would be agreeable with, then this team is probably not for you.
At the top of this awesome lady pyramid is Sailor Thyone. Her magnetic personality and brusque business manner is what keeps the group not only together, but running smoothly. If you’ve been recruited into the group you’ve definitely dealt with her in the past and she’s probably recruited you. Queen B Thyone does have several lieutenants with various powers. This group is
not based on faction rank. A general could join the group and be nothing more than a mere member while Thyone, currently only a super senshi, is calling the shots.
Negaverse officers, Negaverse senshi, and Dark Mirror Court senshi are more than welcome to join the group as long as their personalities mesh with the overall feel.
Commandments
Saturday nights are Team Building nights. Sunday mornings are Hangover Brunch meetings. While the Team Building may be skipped every once in awhile, Hangover Brunches are absolutely mandatory for every Mean Girl. They plan their weeks, plan their events, and generally do everything important over brunch with mimosas.
It’s quite alright to be bitchy towards other people. There exists the popular myth, perpetrated by society, that being a b***h is a
bad thing! The ladies in this group heartily disagree and are sassy, a little snarky at times, and self-importance seems to come built-in. One thing that is generally
not okay is open animosity towards other Girls after a point. You can hate another Girl, be a b***h to her, and verbally snark all you want as long as it doesn’t interfere with the clique and their goals. If you think it’s going to to, tell the leader or a lieutenant. They will schedule you time in a sparring ring, complete with spectators and popcorn, to work out your differences.
Daily Life
This team was born from several people in the Chaos organizations that felt drawn to each other in both civilian and powered life. Certainly the founding members of this team are dear friends in and out of uniform, and they encourage this for all members. A good team is only as strong as the relationships within that team, so take advantage! Make friends! These girls live life to the fullest so it couldn’t hurt to get in on some of that action!
Many powered teams do not care who you are as a civilian but for many reasons, this one does. You don’t have to be disgustingly wealthy, nor do you have to be famous as Avery is either, though it's certainly a point in your favor. What helps the most though is that you have an aspiration to be something more than what your powered persona is. It shows that you have an interest in living, an interest in being a whole person, and not just a mindless thug.
Are you going to college? Working at a business? Owning a business? Perhaps you are finally pursuing that career in art design! Fantastic and they will do all they can to help you. You’re about to have friends in high (and low) places. Congratulations!
Combat
A unit is defined as ‘any group of things or persons regarded as an entity’. In battle these women are a unit in the truest sense. Extensive time is spent training both the senshi and officers how their powers and fighting styles can be meshed together into a dangerous tapestry of effective skill. For those Girls in the Negaverse, this team is cross-branch. They flirt, they manipulate, they ruthlessly demolish their enemies from the inside, out. Any fighting style and approach is considered a benefit to the team as long as the applicant’s attitude meshes with the Mean Girls style.
Thou shalt corrupt. These girls love turning others to the dark side, and it's one of the primary goals of their team. In fact, a large number of their members were once Order!
Something that the Mean Girls feel very strongly about is that ‘No Girl Goes Alone’. The posse is a concept that is rooted deep into their teachings. What does that mean? Well certainly no one should
ever be patrolling alone! It’s preferred that a senshi (of either faction) team up with an officer, but it’s not an imperative. Sometimes patrols will be specifically paired to test out a battle compatibility but those are rare.
Discipline
There is a fine line between a b***h and someone who doesn’t understand how rules work. Bitches respect rules and authority that is logical. Assholes don’t respect anything. If a lack of respect is demonstrated to not only other Girls but in respect to missions and goals themselves, a punishment might be handed out. These are IC consequences to IC actions but will
always be discussed OOCly. These girls work hard and play harder but that doesn’t mean they are willing to tolerate any bullshit, especially if it results in another Mean Girl getting hurt!
If consequences for actions that go against the team are not your style then it’s probably best you do not apply. If you do join the team anyway but disregard all of this, and all attempts from other players to make it work, then you might be removed from the team entirely.
In general, however, this is not something that should be worried about overmuch. It’s just something we felt was better to say sooner rather than later and think it could actually promote several interesting plotlines, if plotted correctly!
