Corinth was still trying to get used to this whole... knight thing. His fingers tapped lightly on the head of his drum, which caused it to hum a light staccato in the fading light of the evening. He was standing on a building not to far from downtown, just getting a feel for the area and the new sensations that being a knight brought.

He knew he had a lot to learn, he just wasn't sure where to go to learn it. He didn't want to bother Camelot with too many questions - he'd grilled the man quite a bit on their first meeting. He figured if anything he'd give the man a little breathing room and if something burning or pressing came about - he'd approach him then.

Beyond that, he was still trying to get used to the feeling of his own skin in Page form. Just the knowledge that he surpassed the average human in speed and strength made him a little heady - and scared the ever living hell out of him.

But he wanted to do good. He wanted to help the city. If only there was something going on for him to fight - but so far it had been a quiet night - nothing amiss.

Plopping down on the edge of the roof, he let his feet dangle as he watched the street below - hoping to spot SOMETHING.

Anything...

Dallol's opinion of the Knights and what they stood for was changing. Slowly but surely. There were the initial run-ins with Camelot and Valhalla, Knights who had come a long way yet they still put up with her antics good-naturedly then Niflhel's invitation to the Legends of the Knights Temple games came just over a month ago. She had signed up after thinking long and hard over it for the entire of a fortnight and came away from it with new friends, Pages whom she found weren't very much dissimilar from herself and what she hoped to achieve as she gradually came to terms with and accept this part of herself.

It was a quiet evening all in all and she figured that there was no harm in altering her course towards the other Page as soon as she sensed his presence in the area. Keeping to the rooftops was good, affording them both discretion out of the public's sight as well as accessibility to where they needed to get to fast. She was glad that the other already knew that if the unfamiliarity of his fuku could be taken to mean that he was new and recently awakened though she supposed that that could be because their paths had yet to cross thanks to her own efforts in actively avoiding anyone aligned with Order over the past couple of months.

Landing on the roof that Corinth was already on, she approached him slowly from behind, clearing her throat lightly before speaking so as to alert him to her presence. "Quiet night, isn't it?" The last thing both of them needed was for him to be taken aback by her presence and fall and break his neck or something.

Corinth couldn't help starting a little bit, thankfully he only jumped a little, not enough to dislodge him from his perch at least. Looking up at Dallol, he chuckles, slowly getting to his feet and stretching his arms over his head. "Yeah, but that's good right?"

He offered his hand to the other page with a smile. "Name's Corinth, and who might you be?" He was working really hard on keeping his eyes focused on hers, even though they wanted to wander and look over her outfit.

It screamed Harem Girl, but something in the back of his mind told him to keep his mouth shut. Well actually it was the voice of his step-mom telling him to keep his trap shut, but he was enough of a gentleman to do so anyway.

"Is it usually this quiet?"

"Yeah. But it could mean that the Negaverse's planning something on a bigger scale like what happened at the carnival awhile back." Dallol cautioned, her wariness a stark contrast to the carefreeness of the other Page as she took the hand that was offered to her in greeting before following up with a direct question as to how long Corinth had been a part of this war. "Dallol, Page of Uranus. Are you new?"

It was her own way of looking out for the other Page really. Direct, straight to the point without beating around the bush and wasting anyone's time. She had spent a couple of months trying to figure out her own loyalties and what it was exactly that she was and should be fighting for. Time that, in her opinion, could be better spent on honing her abilities so that her next encounter with one of the agents of Chaos would end favourably for her. She had to learn her lesson the hard way and it wasn't something that she would wish upon another on her side.

Observing the way that his eyes seemed to have a tendency of skimming over her fuku and inadvertently checking her out, she rolled her eyes at that, saying nothing of it for now so long as he did not give in to the innate male tendency to make some smart a** remark about how she looked. She never really had much patience in dealing with such things anyway. "It depends. The Negaverse doesn't seem to have a specific pattern with the timing of their operations. Have you come across anyone else so far?"

"Camelot," Corinth said flatly. "He... He pretty much saved my a** if I'm going to be honest. Got cornered by one of those... monster things. Not sure what they're called." He smiled at her, before looking out at the city as they stood there in the fading light of the evening.

"That's when I awakened as Corinth, Page of Neptune," he said as he motioned at himself with his hand - not really adding dramatic flair or anything, just pointing out the uniform. "He helped me defeat the thing and answered what questions I had. But, yeah, I'm a newbie."

He huffed out a short sigh, before turning his attention back to her. "Not going to lie though, the powers that come with the gig aren't too shabby. I was debating on what to do. Any ideas?"

He had to admit, it was hard to take his eyes off Dallol. The fading light highlighted certain key portions of her thanks to her outfit, and it was really distracting. Smiling sheepishly, he scratched the back of his head.

"Uhm... Sorry if this is super forward or whatever, I'm sure you hear it a lot, but... you're really pretty." he said, before holding his hands out in front of him and bowing his head and then his upper torso in her direction. "Sorry! Sorry! Your outfit is really distracting - in a good way..." He stood up and smiles weakly.

"But, there's a girl that I like and I was actually thinking about hanging out around her place to make sure she stays safe... Or is that a bad idea?" He didn't want to seem like the stalker type either. But he wanted to make sure Hafwen was safe as much as possible...

Dallol smiled softly when Corinth mentioned Camelot being present during his awakening. "Good for you then. He's a good paternal figure to get pointers from for a start - knows what he's doing probably because he has been in this business for a while." With Camelot there to orientate him to the powered world that he was now a part of, there was no doubt in her mind at all that the Page of Neptune was in good hands and would be set down the rightful path that he was supposed to follow.

Her gaze became curious though when he seemed to be clueless as to what he should be doing with his newfound abilities. "You mean... Camelot didn't tell you about the other factions out there and what we're supposed to do as Knights?" It would be strange for the older Knight to forgo that issue among the many other things that would be important to cover with the newbie. Maybe he really was pressed for time back then or Corinth had cleanly forgotten about it with the amount of information that he needed to process back at that point in time.

She began to blush at his compliment, her eyes going wide as she stumbled over her words then lowered her head quickly after flashing him a sheepish smile. "I... um... thank you. Honestly I'd rather it be less... revealing since it has invited more lewd remarks than I care to count with one hand. Perhaps it may come in handy in distracting the enemy one of these days..." She offered with a slight shrug of her shoulders before looking back up at him with a grin. "That's really sweet of you. I personally don't see any problems with that since you never know what may lurk on the streets in the city these days but you may want to be discrete about it lest you get the authorities called upon you for that."

"Well I plan to be the soul of discretion," Corinth said, chuckling lightly as he looked out over the fading light. "I mean, I'm sure she wouldn't like being followed. She's strong and I'm sure she can handle herself against most normal threats but not against whatever these monsters are." He cringed then, remembering being cornered and pretty much ready to fight the damn thing on his own - only to have his drum appear and grant him the power to actually fight.

He wouldn't wish that on Hafwen, even if it would give him peace of mind to know she could handle herself in that situation.

"How about you? Anyone you care about that you're protecting? Or are you solo?" Corinth said, before blinking for a moment as he played back what he'd said and how it could have been construed. "... That wasn't supposed to sound like I'm trying to find out if you have a boyfriend, just... so you know."

He'd just told her he was out and about looking after a girl he liked - the last thing he wanted was for her to think he was a two-timing a*****e.

Dallol simply nodded in agreement with Corinth's plan and intention. "Hmm... she sounds like quite a character. But I get your angle - normal civilians don't stand much of a chance against those youmas so what you're doing is probably for the best." After all, who was she to stop him from using his newfound powers to watch over someone whom he cares deeply about? If they were to protect the entire civilian populace of Destiny City which essentially was mainly made up of people they would never know nor come across in their personal lives, what's wrong with paying special attention to those who really matter?

Tilting her head at his words, she began to look amused. "I know. You worry too much Corinth. Did I really look as if I'm giddy with joy and about to swoon at your feet as a result of your earlier compliment?" She laughed. "Still... I'm glad that you brought that up so it clears the air between us and we don't run into any misunderstandings. I'm solo. Don't think it'll change for a long time ever..." It felt really really nice to be herself once the initial pleasantries were over and done with. She didn't really care if her reaction might antagonise Corinth or mar his impression of her. The Neptune Page seemed more like the type of guy who could roll with that.

"I know that the possibility of this is rather remote but... if the girl whom you like turns out to be a Negaverse or Dark Mirror Senshi, what will you do?"

Corinth laughed. "She's amazing, I really like her, she's got a passion for life I don't see in a lot of other girls. Ironically she approached me and not the other way around - but then, I don't really talk to girls much I don't really know what to say to them half the time without feeling guilty that I'm not being enough of a gentleman, you see. You know what they say bout nice guys..."

He shook his head when she spoke as to being solo. "I'd say that's a shame, but really, its what's makes you happy that's important. If you don't need a relationship then that's cool, I totally respect that. Though I hope you wouldn't be insulted if I asked if we could patrol together whenever we're free. I'd love to have someone who knows the way of things to watch my back."

He cringed when she mentioned what he assumed was the opposing forces of their little battlefield and he sighed. "Well, if I could get her to see the error of our ways and join our side - I'd do that. Otherwise... I mean... What else would there be to do but to do my best in keeping the area safe - and if that meant fighting her then so be it. If I could talk her into leaving people alone I would - but at the same time I'm not going to let innocent people be at risk over my own emotions. I may be a gentleman, but that means that I have to ensure the good of the many is also upheld."

Dallol's eyes went wide when Corinth started to talk more about the mysterious girl whom he admired. A girl taking the initiative on a guy - now that was new and definitely required quite a lot of guts kudos to whoever that girl was. "Did she now? I suppose that the both of you are dating then?" They had to be for Corinth to be so enamoured with her by this point. Besides, he didn't seem like the type to say no or worse, play hard to get when an opportunity literally landed itself into his lap like this.

"Nothing wrong with being nice. I'll much rather patrol with someone like you instead of a smart a** jerk whom I have to repeatedly quell the rising urge to kick him off the building." She grinned, quick to wave off his unspoken notion of nice guys finishing last in real life before giving a nonchalant shrug and putting in her two cents on relationships in general. "I'm sorry to say this but... I don't see what's the big deal about a relationship really."

She couldn't quite see eye to eye with why her peers were so obsessed with the opposite gender and the extent to which they were willing to do in order to garner a cute boy's attention. Life in her opinion was complicated as it was and she would be just fine so long as she stayed alive in this war and kept up the good work she had been putting into her studies and soccer thus far. "It's good to know that you already have your priorities right in this though. That's gonna keep you going no matter what happens in the days ahead." She had just about all that she needed now and didn't really need any other things like a guy to come and complicate her life any further at the moment.

"I won't patronize you and say you haven't met the right person yet," Corinth laughed as Dallol mentioned her opinion on relationships. "Because the girl and I aren't really quite at dating yet, I did send her a message for when I'm available, so we aren't official, no."

But that was how things went sometimes, people got busy, it was only natural.

"Well I am glad that I don't make you want to kick me off a building," Corinth chuckled bowing his head.

"It's not so much priorities," Corinth said, replying to her statement. "In the end, we have to serve the common good before our own needs - it's our doom."

"Good. At least you have the insight to not tell me that. I have already heard that line from so many people around me that I've lost count entirely." Dallol smiled and shook her head, pretty convinced that her stand wouldn't change even if she met the right person eventually. Others were entitled to their own opinion although they might differ from hers. This she could respect at least hence the words of encouragement she offered to the Neptune Page.

"Not yet I see. But it's only a matter of time before you hook up with her right? I mean, granted that she was the one who approached you first to express her interest after all. I don't quite see how that could end badly unless you aren't willing which you obviously aren't." He seemed halfway decent at the very least, the kind of guy that would make a good impression on a girl's parents as one whom they could entrust their daughter to. But life was somewhat different for them now that they were Knights. They suddenly had additional responsibilities and the danger posed by those who chose to ally themselves with Chaos was real. Both to themselves and their families.

"Maybe. Though I don't see any instruction manual that came with this transformation dictating how we should or should not act. It all boils down to hearsay from others around us and the choices that we ultimately make."

"I'm just saying as human beings its our job to ensure that the greater good is protected, even if it costs us our lives..." Corinth said with a soft smile. "We're basically super heroes, so we need to do everything we can to make sure the world stays safe."

He moved a bit closer to Dallol, holding out a hand to her in camaraderie, if she didn't clasp it he would be fine with that, right now he was just trying to establish some connection with her.

"Its nice to met a friendly face out here, I'll watch your back so long as you watch mine. I'll probably be patrolling this area quite a bit, so feel free to seek me out if you're in the area."

He smiled at her and bowed his head. "I wouldn't mind having a partner, if you're cool with that."

"So you see yourself as a white knight in shining armour, defender of all innocents eh?" The Uranus Page looked long and hard at Corinth's proffered hand, looking almost as if she was trying to decide if it was safe to take it before she finally tossed all caution to the wind and grasped it firmly in hers with a slight shrug. "Not a school of thought that many out there will subscribe to but I guess I could work with that."

She tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Sounds fair enough to me. Teaming up certainly beats facing the enemy alone on your own. Are there any specific days in the week that you'll be up and about then? We could probably work out a schedule between us both."

"Every weekday, and every other weekend," Corinth says, giving her hand a firm shake before letting it go again and looking back over the city. "I have to give myself a little bit of decompression time or I'm sure I'll snap under the pressure..."

Shaking his head slowly, he stretches his arms over his head, before rolling his neck slowly and trying to get himself to calm down. He could feel it, the edge of excitement over how clandestine and empowering it was to have so much at stake riding on his ability to function as a hero.

They were high stakes too, from what he'd seen so far.

"So how do you handle it? The stress I mean."
