Rowan arrived at the front of the massive colloseum. As they approached, the types of people would change and the number of people with groceries would lessen. There were magicians gathered around the outside of the colloseum, men with intricate staffs talking about spells and such. As well as regular brawlers with their swords and equipment, though not so many with armor. Some people stared at Frederick as he passed by. Rowan continued to walk quickly. "Just ignore them, most of these people are regulars. They notice you're new." she told Frederick.

Two Arun guards by the gates would eye them suspiciously as they passed through the massive gates, pasted everywhere with tournament announcements. They'd cross a short dark passage before arriving at a massive stone and sand pit where the warriors trained. Spells flew everywhere as magicians practiced their spells, the metal clang of swords echoed throughout the colloseum as people trained. Rowan stayed close to the stands and far from the center. "Well, this is our best bet at finding a third member... just watch your head, some magicians tend to get carried away." she warned. "Now the question is, how do we start the search?"

Rowan nodded. "I was thinking the same thing." she said. Rowan looked out a the group of fighters, assesing each magician she saw. Most were quite old. She noticed two magicians battling of the far edge of the pits, feverishly selling elemental based magics at eachother. Rowan decided she'd start there. "Hm, those guys look promising... lets try there." she said, already heading that direction. Rowan dodged a spell that whizzed past her head, and continued, evading the swordfighters in her way. She finally reached the two magicians, though they were far too occupied with their battle to notice her. Rowan cleared her throat and approached the magician closest to her, tapping on his shoulder. "Excuse me sir, may I have a moment please?" she asked politely.

The magician was about to cast another spell but turned, grumbling at the interruption. "What do you-" he noticed Rowan's uniform. He lit up. "Aye, a ringmaster! Just what I need, would you mind giving me a few buffs?" he asked eagerly.

"Ehh... actually I wanted to ask if you would be willing to-" Rowan was cut off as the magician was hit full force by a blast of water, launching him a far distance back. Rowan blinked, staring blankly at the empty space before her. She sighed, then turned. It was worth a shot...

The magician would scramble to his feet and give a feeble nod before limping off to rest his head.

Rowan would continue her search, this time approaching the opponent. He was fairly young, had an energetic look about him. Though seemed indifferent of the fact his friend was launched several feet in the air. His focus shifted as he watched Rowan approach, lowering his staff just slightly.

"Excuse me sir, have you a moment?" Rowan asked politely. The young wizard lowed his staff since she wasn't another challenger. She took it as a yes.

"Well as you can see, I am a ringmaster. And we are in quite the situation at the moment, with the recent disappearances. Though, we have a lead to the cause of it and have set a small party to examine it. We lack the numbers to set out, just one more volunteer. It'll-"

"Wait wait, what is your 'lead'?" he asked, leaning on his staff.

"I was getting to that..." said Rowan. "The old caves, by the mountains and the old goblin kingdom... The balance there has been teetering since the disappearances began. Anyways, fighting would be involved since that area is overrun, but it wouldn't take more than a few days. And you'd be doing our kingdom a great service. What do you say?" she asked.

The young wizard listened, nodding as she spoke. "Will there be pay?" he asked after she finished. Rowan held back a sigh, thinking patriotism would have done the job. "Yes... we can arrange that. It'd be a handsome reward." she said.

The wizard nodded, standing up straight. "I do like adventure, and fighting... I'll think about it. Give me a moment to think." he said. The wizard then walked past Rowan over to the resting areas to meet his friend. Rowan frowned slightly at his rudeness, and walked after him to walk over to Frederick. "Well that went... ok. I think we might have a volunteer." she said.

"Well... Maybe. His spell was proficient. But he has the enthusiasm to do damage." she said. "Well... it's not like there are many volunteers. I can't just yell it aloud either, that would draw attention to us. And possibly spread panic..."

Rowan nodded. "That's a good idea! Then if anyone voulenteers, I could test them to see if they're good enough? Or at least trustworthy." she said. "Yep, that should definitelly do. Wait here." she said as she sprinted off towards the center of the colloseum without a second thought. Rowan dodged a few swords and wrestling men, recieving a few questioning glances until she reached what she believed was the center of all the commotion. A spell flew past her, narrowly missing. Now, to get attention... Rowan lifted her staff high, light gathered at the end of the staff and shot out in all directions as circular beams. A few of the brawlers noticed the light and turned to find the source. Though the majority of the crowd was still occupied with their battles. Rowan frowned slightly and lifted her staff higher, an even brighter light gathered and flew out in more concentrated beams over the head of the crowd. This forced the remaining brawlers to turn and look at her, most looked indifferent or annoyed by the distraction. Now that most eyes were on her, Rowan lowered her staff. She heard a few grumbling, but dismissed it.

"Hello everyone! I apologize to interrupt your training, but I have an important announcement on behalf of the Ringmasters, as well as the authorities in Arun." she yelled loudly, turning to look at everyone. No response whatsoever "We are searching for a brave, patriotic magician to assist us, a challenger courageous enough to test their skills against the Dwarfen ruins. We offer an opprtunity of adventure, honor, and widespread fame! If that is not enticing as it is, we are also offering a handsome reward. How much... more than a working man could make in 5 months guarenteed." she said. This caught the attention of a few people. Money always had that effect. Though the regular brawlers simply left to continue their matches, as well as a handfull of cowardly Magicians. Rowan smiled brightly. "If anyone is interested, please feel free to speak to me. I'll be standing by the entrance, that is all. Thank you for your time." she said. Rowan lowered her staf and walked over to the wall by the entrance, opposite from Frederick and staying far from him just incase. A few magicians followed her, but a few others left to return to their business. The colloseum soon returned to normal. Rowan looked at the magicians and began speaking to each one, answering questions and asking about ranks and skill levels. A few left, but there were still 10.

Rowan continued to talk to the wizards, half of them leaving as she spoke, though she was determined as ever. Rowan glanced over at Frederick, noticing a group of men Drawing their weapons on him. "Excuse me a moment..." she said, stepping through the small group of wizards. Two left. She pointed her staff at them, light gathered at the end in a large bright ball. She launched it at them.

The surrounding brawlers would notice the bright light, some turned to see the small fight. There was not meant to be intentional blood in the arena, it was just a training area. Some took this realization, two nearby magicians left to find the authorities. Rowan turned to the last magician left with pleading eyes. "Please help." she asked. The magician looked at the scene; he was hesitant but then then nodded, trusting the ringmaster's judgement. He waved his staff towards them. "Aquas maxima" a wave of water would shoot out towards the two bandits, aiming to wash them away. He noticed their electric affinities, and hoped to use that against them. It wasn't a killing move, but enough for them to run.
