(note to self, this fight takes place a few days before current plots)  Axel was not in a good mood. His buddy hadn't woken up after their last fight with two Antar followers, and he was both worried, and pissed off. Finally feeling like there was nothing else he could do but burn a hole in the ground from pacing, he told a healer to keep an eye on him while he went out. Twirling his butterfly knife unconsciously, he decides to take out his frustration on the first Antar follower he comes across, aiming his blade for her back between her wings. HP: 20

 HP:19Shira roamed the battlefield her regular hostile expression effectively masking any other emotion she felt at the moment. Suddenly she sensed a dark presence behind her. Jerking sharply to the side the attackers blow barely did more than tear to the back of her robe. Twirling around she flicked her twin daggers from her sleeves as she focused her violet eyes on the cursed. Her frown deepened and without hesitation she slashed downward, horizontally at the redhead.

(I did that in one of my fights with Ish. XD) Axel was surprised at her quick reflexes, usually he could get a shot in without someone sensing the cursed vibes -- especially on a battlefield where several were around. As she spun around he leaned back, earning a bit of a haircut and a light nick across his forehead, before lashing out with a kick at her gut. HP: 18

HP:18Shira fluttered her wings as her foe aimed a kick for her stomach, earning her just enough distance to gain nothing other than a possible bruise. Narrowing her eyes she stepped back in aiming to sink one of her blades into the wretched cursed's shoulder and twist it.

Axel wasn't able to dodge back fast enough, and the blade sank into his shoulder. Even as she twisted it though, there was no response from him, no reaction of pain, just a sort of hollow look before he lashed out with a fist aimed at her face. HP: 15

HP:17Shira wasn't distracted, or bothered by Axel's lack of reaction. She leaned her head to the side feeling his fist hit her pointed ear. Unfazed the hostile insect girl lashed out with both her blades together.

Axel really didn't care how she reacted either. Normally he'd have been smirking or making jokes about now, but he just didn't have the heart for it, and it was showing, even through his fighting. Leaning back he gained a few more minor slices, before he brought his head forward again in an attempt to headbutt her. HP: 13

HP:16Shira jerked back from the incoming head strike, feeling it brush past her bangs. Stepping to the side she flipped her dagger and stabbed out for his side her hostile expression unchanging.

(Ok what's with the dice? Seriously!) Axel was stabbed badly, but all he did was sigh. He almost told her she missed, and was supposed to aim for his heart, but thought better of it and just tried to return the favor with his own blade. HP: 9

HP:12A 'tsk' sound escaped her as her foe's blade cut into her deeply for the first time. Taking a step back she narrowed her eyes at the cursed and retaliated, trying to sink her twin daggers into his back.

Axel managed to pivot away from those twin daggers, and this time drove his own knife at her throat. HP: 8

HP:11Shira twisted away from the blade, receiving a small cut on her neck. Ignoring the pain in her side she spun releasing a round house kick for his head.

Axel's head is snapped to the side by the kick, and he turns back to her, cricking his neck before lunging and trying to take her to the ground in a tackle. HP:5

HP:7Shira was tackled to the ground roughly, one of her wings bending painfully. An aggravated sound escaped her and she brought her knees up to try and force him off the top of her. Lashing out with her blades for good measure.
