Ah, so your a little confused or just wondering what each stat means and how it works? Well, then you've come to the right section. Here you'll learn all about stats and what they are used for!

Baiter Stats:

B.A.I.T.R Standing: This stat is a ranking system used by B.A.I.T.R to determine the strength of both their operatives and their enemies. When you defeat an enemy in battle this stat determines the amount of bonus experience you can gain from them.
Strength + Skill + Defense / 2 = B.A.I.T.R Standing
When you defeat an enemy in battle, you gain free lines equal to this stat for yourself as well as your A.I. Cores.

Health: This is how much damage that you can receive. When you are in a fight. If your Health is reduced to zero, you will have lost too much blood and pass out. The opponent then has the opportunity to either kill you or let you live. If you are hit with 1000 damage and you are only have 700 health, the opponent still has the choice to let you survive or not. If, however, they decide to kill you, an implant in your heart will cause a teleportation field to activate and bring you back to HQ. After they reconstruct your body with the same technology used to construct the physical forms of the A.I. Cores, you will undergo a term of rehabilitation to recover. This will cause your next 100 lines to be null, as your body is mending from the recreation. This number increases by another 100 every time you die.

Control Limit: This stat represents the strength of the A.I. you are capable of binding to your will, before they will take over your soul.
Strength + Skill + Defense x 4 = Control Limit
Control limit must be greater than the B.A.I.T.R Standing of all the A.I. Cores that you have within your Code Cores multiplied by 2! If an A.I. Core would cause your Control Limit to be less than the total sum of all B.A.I.T.R Standings multiplied by 2, then it may not be bound to your Code Core.
Control Limit is the only stat an A.I. Core will not have.

Skill: This stat is how skillful you are in battle. If you are more skillful than your opponent, you will be able to strike with your weapon more fluently and more frequently.
Your Skill / Half of Opponents Skill = # of attacks (min = 1)(max = 10)

Strength: This stat tells you how physically strong your character is, the higher this stat, the more brute force and damage can be thrown into an attack.
Strength = Hit Chance
Strength x 5 = Damage

Defense: This stat shows your capability of defending yourself. You will use this to take defensive action against attacks.
Defense = Block Chance
Hit Chance - Block Chance = Defense Chance ((100 - Defense Chance = % Chance))

Defense Chance can't be lower than 1.

After you have your % chance, you roll a 100 sided dice and if your number is equal or lower than that of your % chance, you successfully avoid the attack.

Rolling a 1 is an auto-success all the time.
Rolling a 100 is always a fail.

Example:
Hit Chance = 120
Block Chance = 70
120 - 70 = 50 ((100 - 50 = 50% Chance))
You would then roll a 100 Sided die, and if you rolled 50 or lower, you would succeed in avoiding the attack. If you rolled 51 or higher, you would fail the attempt and be hit by the attack.

If you fail a block check, your Defense still soaks up Damage equal to three times its stat value.
So, say you are about to receive 300 Damage, and you have 50 in your Defense stat. It would work out like this:

50 x 3 = 150 (300-150 = 150 Total Damage)

This can not decrease damage by more than 80%.

Increasing Baiter's Stats

Now the other thing you need to know, is how to upgrade your stats, this is an integral part of the guild, so pay attention. It is relatively simple.

You start off with the cost of 20 lines per stat point.
Every time you reach an interval of 50 in a stat, the cost of increasing it goes up by 30.
So when you hit 50 in a stat, it will no longer cost 20 lines to go up to 51, but it will cost 50 lines.
When you hit 100 in a stat, it will increase from 50 lines to 80 lines. The numbers below are a show of the increase in line cost. The left number is the stat level and the right number is the line cost to increase it by 1.

150 = 110
200 = 140
250 = 170
300 = 200
350 = 230
400 = 260
450 = 300
500 = 340
550 = 400
600 = 460
650 = 520

After you hit 650 in a stat, it will cost 520 lines per stat point for the rest of eternity.

Also, as a bonus towards gaining lines and stats, when you engage in combat, the lines are worth double. So the better, and harder that a fight is, the more lines you will be able to rack up!

**Health, unlike all other stats, rises by 20 per stat point and costs 20 lines per point until reaching 1500 Health.
Upon reaching 1500 Health, Health will then cost 50 lines per stat point, and still raise by 20 per stat point.
Upon reaching 3000 Health, Health with cost 100 lines per stat point, and be raised by 20 per stat point. This is how much Health with cost for the rest of the time.**

And just so we are all clear, you figure out lines by copying your post into Microsoft Word or Google Documents, and then setting it to Times New Roman, 12 Point Font. Then you delete any spaces between paragraphs or dialogue so it is one big brick of text (minus the regular spaces between your words). However many lines are in the word document from your post, is how many lines are applied to your Gaia Post. It makes it completely universal, and there is no way to cheat it! =]

A.I. Core's Stats

When your A.I. Cores are a little weaker, you are able to utilize your own lines in order to strengthen them. You can spend the regular 20 lines per stat point on the A.I. Core's stats instead of your own, all the way up until they have 50 stat points in each stat (can not spend after you reach 50). Also, you can upgrade Health at the same cost, until they hit 500 Health.

When it comes to upgrading your A.I. Core's stats after this period, you can only achieve it in one way: battle.
The only way for an A.I. Core to become stronger is to absorb the code of other A.I. Cores. During a battle, when you have defeated an A.I. Core's physical form, you may decide to either bind it to your Code Core (choosing to fill an empty Code Core, if available, or overwrite the current A.I. Core in any of your Code Cores) or you can have any A.I. Core you current possess to absorb a percentage of all the stats of the defeated enemy, depending on the rank of that enemy.
This can not increase your A.I. Core's B.A.I.T.R Standing to a point where it would exceed your own.

For a Bit level A.I. Core, you will be able to absorb 10% of its Health, as well as 20% of all stats. Your Common Level A.I. Core's stats can only be raised until its B.A.I.T.R Standing hits 200 and its Health hits 1500.

For a Kilo Level A.I. Core, you will be able to absorb 5% of its Health, as well as 10% of all stats. Your Common Level A.I. Core's stats can only be raised until its B.A.I.T.R Standing hits 350 and its health hits 3000.

For a Mega Level A.I. Core, you will be able to absorb 5% of its Health, as well as 5% of all stats. Your Rare Level A.I. Core's stats can only be raised until its B.A.I.T.R Standing hits 550 and its health hits 5000.

For a Giga Level A.I. Core, you will be able to absorb 3% of its Health, as well as 2% of all stats. Your Legendary Level A.I. Core's stats can be raised indefinitely.
