Biography: Conlin was born into a middle class family on the colony of Paris IV, he was just a small child when he was evacuated from its surface when the Covenant attacked. From then on Conlin grew up not on his home world in a stable home but moved from refugee camp to refugee camp the alien menace always just a stones throw away. Finally at the age 18 he knew that he could not run from this seemingly insurmountable foe any longer and joined the service. To him the thought of flight had always called to him so it was only natural that he enlisted to be a Pelican Pilot, flying bravely in and out of combat. During his training in flight school he learned that his small frame let him handle more complicated manuvers because he could resist G forces easier than most. Although he did have an issue with taking risks which got him in trouble quite a lot but it did make him a popular with other recruits. Eventually after many months of training Conlin passed and was assigned to the 503rd Transport Wing, seeing action in a variety of theaters. His high risk flying had made him a popular choice for "suicide" missions and he flew more than a few and was shot down numerous times but some how always finding a way back. There have been other times though that he has been requested by ODSTs and other branches specifically for his crazy flying needing someone who isn't afraid to jump into the thick of it. By wars end Conlin had been on 427 combat sorties and had been shot down over 33 times. Afterwards he continues to serve in the UNSC with honor and distinction as a distinguished pilot who has made and lost many friends. He is haunted at times by things he has seen in the long and bloody war and suffers from a minor case of PTSD and depression.
