Here's my version of where what are from.

How's about we don't have any hell or heaven forums but strictly earth places and everyone is a half breed and each side gets a 'being' that will give each being a 'Core' that will turn each half breed into a full breed for a set amount of time or until to much energy has been used. A 'Core' can be either a gauntlet, dagger, sword, ring, hammer, or something with a design on it, a core comes from the 'father' or 'mother' and unlocks the breeds ability like the characters abilities we have been using. Even without the core the half breed can still use minor abilities, through out the war there is a single rule no purebred sentient being can go into earth and no halfbreeds can come out. Influences can be made either by an item that isn't a core or a core from a lesser follower. When half breeds fight they put their cores on the line and can either fight with or without a barrier, with a barrier neither one can escape unless one is overpowered by death, from the design being destroyed, or surrenders and becomes the victors follower, without a barrier one can escape. Cores can be taken or won and become added to their arsenal, however they can only be used if they are compatible or the right combination of cores.
