As the big Diabi laid there in the sands, hunched down behind a rocky outcropping, Eyphah was pretty certain now that the Kiandri were toying with him. He could see it from here, the big dragon that bore his deep claw marks upon its hide, wounds that were fresh but had ceased bleeding. That dragon was his and he wanted nothing more then charge ahead, to take it down, and to make a meal out of a chunk of it were he to do it right. Not to mention that the creature owed Eyphah an orb and he wanted that orb to add to his collection. He didn't have many of this particular color yet and as such he needed to work harder so that he could get more and more of them! It would be pretty straight forward what he needed to do... were it not for the fact that the creature was accompanied by a second of it's kind and he found himself torn on what he should do next. Should he charge in, take 'his' dragon down, collect his meat, his orb, and continue on his way... or should he try to take on the second one as well? Then there was the option of taking out the first one, marking up the second one, and letting it go on its merry little way while he collected his orb and ate? Bah, too many options! And he wasn't really the sort that liked to plan ahead, he wanted to leave that boring stuff to D and just go charging on ahead as he was want to do!
He shifted in place for a moment, decided that he would just do what he always did, that being charging on ahead into battle, and let Fate sort it all out he thought to himself. Nodding to himself, deciding that this plan was the best plan, he pushed to his feet and went tearing forward toward the two Kiandri, kicking up glittering sand as he went. The moment he was close enough he used his powerful back legs to launch himself into the air, crashing heavily into the unmarred Kiandri first, his scythe like claws digging in, before bouncing onto the one that he'd already met earlier in the day. The battle between them was another good, bloody one, the sort that Eyphah reveled in. There was lots of biting, clawing, snarling, and oh so much delicious blood... it was delicious! How he loved the taste of the various different dragons that he got into these battles with, it was that sweet taste on his tongue that made this worth while... well, that and the orbs.
Speaking of which, he was about to get another one, he could feel the way that the beast was starting to falter under him, no longer able to hold of its own weight up. Eyphah was quick to use the barb on the end of his tail slash free a chunk of dragon, battling built up a guy's appetite after all. He snapped the meat out of the air in his jaws, grabbed the orb with his clawed hand, and landed gracefully. It looked quite majestic and dramatic... too bad he was all alone with nobody to see it. As he looked around he realized that the other dragon had run off... though he couldn't say that he was all that surprised. It always seemed as though they wanted to run away from him, cowardly beasts that they were, but at least he'd gotten what he wanted from the two of them. He'd chase that other one down later, right now he had delicious lunch to enjoy as well as a pretty orb to return to his collection. Today was already a good day with just these two things alone and he meant to make it all that much better when he got started up the chase after the other Kiandri he'd marked, after lunch that was.
