It was a rather quick tussle in the sand with the next Kiandri that Eyphah ran across. A lose, sadly, but still it had been one of those battles that he couldn't help but to have found exhilarating. He'd swept up from behind, pouncing the thing while it was still unawares, causing it to give a startled roar. From there it was a lot of snarling, biting, and clawing from both sides with the battle ending with the Kiandri flying off, leaving behind a trail of blood. Unlike in Serenia and Ayr though Eowyn wasn't a land that was going to make it easy on Eyphah to find the things that belonged to him. No, the blowing winds and shifting sands had hidden the blood trail before too long, leaving him flying around looking for his quarry... but he couldn't really say that he was bothered by this. If anything it added a new dimension to hunting, one that made it more difficult, and would make the victory that he meant to achieve all that much sweeter in the end. If Eyphah was anything he was persistent, as well as arrogant, he wouldn't let one loss get to him. He'd lost in the past after all only to chase down his prey and make a meal of it.
There was only once that he'd fought something, had it escaped, and never saw it again. That being the abomination of a Drakein known only as Beta. Still, he was determined that one day he would have another battle with that one and he meant to lay waste to her when that time came. He wasn't so weak after all that he would allow her to escape forever. It likely bordered on obsession, his desire to really win at every battle he ever entered but that was just how he was, he wanted to be the top Drakein... well... top other then his mother, best that he leave her in charge after all, he wasn't quite ready to lead a group of his own as of yet. Maybe sometime in the far future after he'd already attained his lofty goal that was becoming a Drakeinian. Once he did that then he was fine with getting a group of his own to lead about. Until that time he didn't have to worry about such things, as it was the only thing he wanted to worry about at present was where his Kiandri had gotten off to and how long it would be before he could get his claws on the beast once more...
