Summer was in full swing, which meant Leora could enjoy all of her sleeveless dresses to the fullest extent possible. She looked like a doll, covered in lace, ruffles, and soft powder colored ribbons. Even her shoes had ribbons, dainty pink tuffs of ribbon set in place with blue gemstone pendants.
She wasn't far from her home, only a few blocks away, having decided to check out a neighbors garage sale. She found nothing worth buying, but enjoyed the trip none the less. Now she was heading back in the direction of her old boarding house run by the elderly couple often mistaken for her grandparents ( Who were in truth her mother in father ). She passed by the park, her steps steady and sure even with her impractically high heeled shoes, slowing slightly to take in a deep breath, filling her lungs with hair tinged with the scent of blooming flowers.

Winston loved summer. It meant that all the children were out and the sun was out and that he could play just about anywhere. His mother was more lenient on him when it was summer too. In the winter she would have never let him walk back from school or another such activity because it got dark way too fast, but in summer the sun was got until he was almost heading to bed so she would let him walk back and forth from the park and that was where he was coming from.
This time he had brought his bookbag filled with all kind of goodies, he and his mother had pack from him. He was coming from a planned summer school event. It was the event of a life time if you had to ask him. All the student from his last year class was there and he had a blast. But now it was over and he was walking home. Which was ok because his mother had promised him cookies if he came home a bit earlier then the other kids! He had a bounce in his step and was walking pretty fast and scanning the ground. He had a knack for it. He was a superhero after all and if he needed to patrolled for a little bit then he could do that too. Villains stopped for on no, so why should he?
He bounced around until he spotted the prettiest girl he had ever seen in his life. It was a princess and not one with a power signal either, so a in real life princess. And she was all alone, which was not good at all. He quickly looked booth ways and cross the street to where she was and let out a small but cute giggle. "A princess like you shouldn't be alone like this! Let Sir Winston, take you home!" he said with a even bigger giggle. She was pretty and he wasn't sure if he couldn't stop giggling around her.

Leora stiffened, her moment of peaceful revere shattered by an unfamiliar voice. She turned her head, and realized the voice was that of a small child. A very happy smile child. Her posture relaxed and she actually let out a smile, a real smile, something that was rarely seen on her. In her mind there were two types of children. Children who were cruel because they knew they could get away with being little stinkers, and joyfully pure little kids. This one, she could already tell was the latter, and she couldn't help but feel her normal sense of antisocial dissipate as he giggled.
She didn't want to take the child to far from his home, if she had to guess he wasn't even yet ten, but she did only live a block and a half away. She considered it for a moment. If this was his rout home then she was probably right on his way home, and wouldn't be taking him out of his way.
She turned and executed an elegant curtsy, her dainty fingertips holding the edges of her baby doll dress out in a classic flair, her head bowed " It would be my pleasure, Sir Winston. "

She was perfect in every way. Her dress was perfect, yet dainty. Something a princess was. She had a wonderful smile and she was nice and polite. Winston couldn't help himself but yet to giggle once again.
As the female curtsy in front of him, his eyes lit up and clasped his hand together in utter joy. He gave another soft giggle and bow as a knight should do and smiled up to her. She was so pretty and had to be a princess of high class because she curtsy right in front of him. Which didn't happen a lot. Most of the time he did this, the girls shooed him away or would yell at him for being a little boy who didn't know anything. But he knew a lot and he had a trick or two up his sleeve to protect anyone he saw fit. "Yay! I'm so excited! Thank you so much princess. A princess like you should never be walking alone! it isn't right! They should always have a knight by there side! Even if it's for a moment! Ms. Princess may I ask for your name. I'm Winston Hill!" he said with his bright blu eyes beaming up to her with ecstatic joy.Niloufer Nilo if you don't mind could you quote me? I almost missed this. lDDD

He might just be the most adorable thing she has ever seen. Ever. In her whole life. And her room was filled with antique dolls and stuffed animals. " I would be most grateful for the escort, Sir Winston Hill! My Name is Leora Healy " She said, with a bow of her head.
It was a breath of fresh air, to have someone overjoyed with her mannerisms, which other people often considered odd. Her parents were an older couple. So old that they were usually mistaken as being her grandparents, and they had raised her "proper". Or at least what her English mother considered proper.
" My home is only a short while away" She said with a sweep of her gloved arm, motioning to the huge sprawling Victorian style house, which was also a bed & breakfast run by her parents. It could be seen from this distance, a few pointed roofs peeking over the treetops as one neared the old town shopping district " If your kingdom will not begrudge me borrowing you for a short while, I would be very happy for the company " She said, purposefully talking like a character out of one of the books she had read. She hoped she wasn't overdoing it, but a sudden spark of playfulness filled her. It wasn't very often she was completely comfortable with someone. Maybe it was because he was a young child.

She was so polite, Winston was slowly falling in love. He had never meet someone so polite, wearing princess attire and so pretty. She was everything he wanted in a princess, dainty, polite, long hair like Rapunzel and wore pretty dresses. He had to tell his sister. She needed a model and it had to be her! "Oh Princess, sorry for interrupting but you have to meet my sister someday! She would love you! You're a prefect Princess and she would just adore you, and then she can see how much of a knight her big brother!" he said shaking in excitement, bowing to her. "It's very nice to meet you Princess Leora, it's my pleasure to be in such beauty." he said laying it on pretty thick.
He had read tons of books about courtship and he was going to use them all on her. She was someone that had to be protect at all cost. Even if he had to power up in front of her he would. She was his prefect princess.
As she motioned to her house, his jaw dropped. He knew it. She was a real life princess, even her house looked like one that a Princess would live in. How did he not notice this before. He giggled in excitement. He would have to tell his mother about this. He had told her before how he meet other Princess before and she just waved it off but this time he had proof and one day he would bring her home and then she would believe that he had meet one and that he had a duty to all the princesses out there!
As she talked his eyes sparkled up to her. She was prefect. She even talked like a princess. "No, my princess, they know a Knight like me has a duty to serve and they would rather see me help someone so graceful as you, then be a little late. I promise Princes Leora, I will let no harm come to you! " he said eyes still sparkling up to her in pure awestruck. emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira Niloufer Welp Winston has fallen off the deep in. He's in love. xDDD

bunnyilove SWEAR TO GOD I THOUGHT I TAGGED THIS FOREVER AGO IM SO SORRRRRRRRRRRRRY *was getting stuff together for growth stuff and noticed THIS WAS STILL UNTAGGED - fails so hard*
" I will trust my protection to you then, good sir " She said with another delicate bow of her head, before extending a hand to the little bow, very regally, or at least what she came off as regally, so that she could rest it on his arm. Lucky for him because she was just so extremely short, she would not have to lean down or slump as she walked. Good god, if her mother, or heaven forbid, the little old ladies who would come to take tea at the B&B, got their eyes on this little cutie-pie they were going to spoil him rotten. Children weren't exactly something that were frequent around the establishment.
" Just to be certain I am not taking their defender to far from his lands, your home is close by, is it not? " He was so young it was always best to make sure. She would probably try and make sure to stop by some day and introduce herself to his parents, just so she wouldn't freak out at some strange girl walking their baby boy away from his home.
