In my opinion, Akira Yamaoka is a genius wink

So, do you have a favorite song from the Silent Hill game series? Or a favorite, over-all soundtrack?

I'm partial to most of the track from 3, but 2 had some stellar stuff as well.

I think SH4 has some of my overall favorite songs. Cradle Of The Forest and Your Rain are just amazing. Cradle is probably my very favorite out of all of them.

In SH3, while some of them were easily accessible, I found they got kind of old pretty quickly, namely You're Not Here and Letter From The Lost Days. Hometown never gets old though.

I actually think if I had to make a list of my absolute favorite songs, there would probably be at least one from every single SH soundtrack that would make it on the list. Akira usually manages to make at least one that's worthy of a lot of praise. Origins had Shot Down In Flames, Homecoming had One More Soul To The Call, Shattered Memories had Hell Frozen Rain. Even Book of Memories had that cool vocal interpretation of Love Psalm from SH2. Except Downpour. Downpour is stuck with a pretty cool atmospheric soundtrack, but an underwhelming song.
