So for the first time ever I have begun playing Silent Hill 1.... and within a matter of minutes found myself chased all up and down those familiar, yet greatly pixelated, foggy streets by what... appears to be.... Pterodactyls..... Although I am sure this monster has a specific reason for existing or a genuine name to itself, only one thing is now certain to me.... in the very beginning... Silent Hill "spared no expense". For now I shall press diligently on in search of facts and SH history, and pray there's not a T-Rex Did anyone else have any thoughts on this... or perhaps any tips for a SH veteran now wandering SH 1 for a first time? (I gotta admit, PSN made it irresistible for only 6 bucks)

Lolol I hated those things. Just run from them. You'll be out of that area in no time. Also save your ammo(as usual)..you'll be needing it later on. Good luck and have fun!~

How far are you Henry? That's my favorite Silent Hill game of all time and not just because it's the first one. The lower quality graphics made it super terrifying to me. xd
Also the pterodactyls are a manifestation of actual dinosaurs as Alessa's favorite book was The Lost World.

Good luck and have fun!~ Well I shall try to manage my ammo from here on out, considering I have already blasted away plenty of bullets trying to kill those things stressed Sometimes they are a bit hard to run from, as they can fly faster than you can sprint (or hobble down the road as it would look like to me lol).

I am hoping the lower graphics will make it scary for me as well. There's been a moment or two, but nothing too bad yet lol. I am not very far yet either. I am currently gathering keys for the Eclipse. But once I have more free time to sit down and focus on it, I am sure I can blaze right through it.

I should probably replay all of the ones I have. It's been a while since I've played them. >.<

It's really a shame I don't own all of them yet... *blows dust off the ps2* welp, back to the classics!!!

I'm really surprised to be saying this, but Silent Hill 1 has quite a few moments that are dashing my attempts to be brave against the rocks eek I'm finding I must play the game in bursts lol, or I'll run into what I did last night and be too adrenaline filled to go to sleep! eek
