Which character in silent hill do you like?
I like Claudia, Henry, James and Murphy.
But I like Claudia a lot because she has the power to control the monsters of silent hill and bring the darkness with her. Even though she is an antagonist, she isn't an evil person like Dahlia and Margaret.
She truly hopes for a better world where there is no pain and suffering.
And I like henry, james and murphy because they're cute and modest. XD

Hmmmmmm well without my avatar and username giving it away, my favorite IS Henry. I think part of this has to do with SH4 being the first game i played in the series.... but for a guy with really no lines and next to no personality (EVEN WHEN SURROUNDED BY DEATH AND CRAZY STUFF!!!!!) there was still always something I liked about his character.... for all I know, maybe that's just it! Maybe I like how he stays calm and just kind of accepts everything that's happening as he trys to figure it all out.
I haven't gotten to play SH3 yet so I have yet to experience what you say about Claudia crying With any luck, I will be playing SH3 sometime in the near future, because I really would like to get the collection still. Haha I actually gotta say, that's another unique thing about Goldensparkz... I don't think I've read anyone talk about Claudia that way on here yet....
You know what though? I was a pretty big fan of Murphy as well, but someone once told me he looks like a rougher Henry... like if Henry flipped his lid and went on a rampage or something (very hard to imagine coming from Henry for obvious reasons lol) then got put in prison.... he'd come out a completely changed man... literally... name change and all xd

I'd have to say..Laura the little girl from Silent Hill 2. She was a little brat and it made me frustrated and laugh at times. Geeze >.<. I had to look up her name in the game since I couldn't remember it. >.< Now if I had to pick my own favourite main character..I think Heather Mason. There's something about playing a girl character that intrigues me. The first Silent Hill game I played was Silent Hill 2. I had played it on my friends xbox at the time. There was a part that scared me. When you're in the apartments and there is a room with a light in the middle of it. It's shining I think on a mannequin? You reach to grab the flashlight and the mannequin wakes up. >.< That part made me scream and my friend laughed at me. Talk about freaking out. sweatdrop

But I guess I will just have to form my own opinions of Claudia when I play SH3, wont I? Shouldn't be too much longer, the price of the collection has come down and I have been putting aside money when paying bills for it. And you're right about Murphy as well... his story actually made me feel many emotions.... sad for his loss... and yet... I was so awe inspired and proud that he got himself put in prison just to revenge... I felt like I was constantly learning while playing through Downpour... ya know?

One of the things I like about silent hill is how you can interpret it in the way you think of it. The symbolism, the meanings of each event and the characters. Silent hill is actually known to me as "Dark side of the world". Hehe how nice, I hope you enjoy the game! Silent hill 3 was the first game I played so I feel more connected to it. wink

Maybe then she will see the monsters of silent hill and freak out saying : "Wh-what is this?! I-I've never seen these creatures before when I was here last time! What is going on?" Well we had a discussion on here one time that there are only 2 "true" endings for SH2, and unfortunately neither of them are the ones where James leaves with Maria and such. So the chances of Laura returning to Silent Hill would be seen as non-canon (if not just utterly absurd to some degree)... However, I think children need to have a bigger part in SH as well.... It would be interesting if say a girl who went to school in Silent Hill and was constantly bullied moved away but one day received a message of some kind from the only person who ever was her friend saying she was in trouble and needed her to come back to SH to help her. When the girl returns to SH she is now a young adult, and she runs into some of the kids who bullied her, now grown up as well. This game would have plenty of flashbacks into our characters childhood and also diving into the life of the only person to ever be her friend.

I see you liked that, what title would you want to name that game? Idk probably a horrible name but the first thing that comes to mind is Silent Hill: Remembrance. That said just because of all the flashbacks I mentioned and stuff.

i pretty much like alessa from SH1 in PS1
i mean there's no silent hill without her, and as for creatures i really like
PYRAMID HEAD emotion_zombie
there's one silent hill that i did'nt get to play though
SH:The Room
i just did'nt find time for it til the PS2 got broken. emotion_facepalm
but i had a run in with it playing SH biggrin ownpour usin PS3
but i dunno if it has extra features....

I tend to like the main heroine Harry Mason and his daughter Cheryl. It always seem my favorite characters end up dying no matter what game, movie, or show that I like. I've also started taking a little liking to Cybil.
As for creatures the Nurses. I don't know why, but after a bit they kind of remind me of lady gaga's bad romance video. XD
Anyways the only games I have played so far is SH Origin, SH1, SH: Shattered Memories
I recently started playing the second one so it's pretty intense so far.
