Over all the time she spent patrolling and fighting and (mostly) running away, she learned next to nothing about being a senshi. What did it mean to be a part of the White Moon Court? How was she supposed to cope with the Negaverse menace? Why did she have to fight people who had normal lives outside of the suit, just like her? In all this time spent trying to understand, she learned nothing. Nothing about Leda, nothing about the court, nothing about the enemy.
She might as well rewind to the first day she ever powered up - she'd be about the same as back then. Jeez, she thought. I thought I'd at least be better at fighting, or running, or aiming my attacks by now... She aired a dejected sigh.
In her venture for answers, she wandered toward the park where she first met Penelope, otherwise known as Pasiphae. Due to the hour, the place was empty, but when they first met it was loaded with people of all ages, with cell phones at the ready. And they sniped her relentlessly - by now Leda's face must've been all over facebook and twitter and all the other social media avenues.
Instead she relished the cool night air and took a seat on the nearest bench to the street. She knew of better locations further in, but she wanted a safe escape route at her back.
However, as she sat, she felt a sense of unease seize her senses, and she searched her surroundings nervously. Nothing but trees and empty playground equipment... No boogeymen hiding around the corners. At least as a senshi she could sense the agents approaching. But... She couldn't sense vigilante civilians or anything like that. Maybe someone was creeping up to knife her for being one of the terrorists?
Another glance behind her gleaned nothing. Not a shadow, not a soul.
Maybe she should've stayed indoors.
