How did Otto find a skateboard in Halloween? Because shut up, that's how. However, he wasn't used to this strange body, and ended up rolling down a hill after a majorly sick fail attempt at a grind on an old railing. This railing had been nearby one of the numerous forested areas near Amity, on a stone stairway leading elsewhere.

And so the golem fell and tumbled down the grassy, bush riddled and thorn covered hill before collapsing in a small patch of moss, somewhere within the outskirts of the wooded area.

"Yeugh..."

“SON OF A b***h!”

There was Hel nearby, on her knees with her hands up to her elbows covered in dirt. She was staring in shock at the stupid kid who had just crashed into her very secret garden spot (though really, Hel wasn’t good at anything secret, including locations). The reaper was flabbergasted. She really did think this was out of the way…

But wait…

“AHHH MY SNAP DRAGONS!”

Very healthy snap dragons, actually! Who were now growling at the ghoul who landed on them before they reached out and bit her.

"SON OF A b***h!"

Yelped the golem with a squeak, scrambling back and pulling away from the biting flowers---WHY WERE FLOWERS ATTACKING HIM!? "GETTIM' OFF!"

Hel had half a mind to not help, stupid punk a** kid…but she wanted to tend to the flowers that had gotten crushed, so they all needed to calm the ******** down. The reaper leaned and then proceeded to flick at the snapping dragons on their ‘noses’, which caused them to yelp and pull away, their little petal mouths pulled in faces that very much looked like : : C

The ghoul then turned her attention to her new company, resting her hands on her hips. “How in Jack’s name did you get down here?”

Otto stared at the snap dragons with mild disgusted horror on his face, before turning that expression toward Hel. How an eyeless zombie could look horrified was proven possible this day.

"I fell." He answered with attitude. "DUH!"

If the snap dragons could curl their leaves…they’d be making pounding fist gestures at Otto right about now.

Hel was now leaning over the spot where Otto had fell, and was trying to gently coax some of the squished flowers back up with a grimace. The ghoul’s head dropped so that she could peer at the ghoul from between her arms, and she scowled. “How about I punch you back up from where you came from? You little snot nosed brat! You better mind yourself. How did your dumbass fall?”

Otto's golem's nose scrunched up, giving Hel a haughty harrumph. "It wasn't my fault! I was in the middle of a si---....awes---....." Okay he couldn't say 'sick grind' or 'awesome move' while in this golem. he needed to try and reign back his sass here.

"Sorry..." He murmured instead, tugging absently on a long braid.

Some of the snap dragons were moving around, trying to take some nibbles out of Hel, but the ghoul absentmindedly, but gently, batted them away, and was still working to coax the fallen flowers up.

She cast a skeptical look at Otto, with a brow rasied. “Not your fault?” She echoed. “Ya, whatever, stupid. I bet it was no one’s fault but your own.” Since the ghoul didn’t want to finish her statement, Hel didn’t bother trying to make her, and luckily enough, she was content with the murmured apology. “Ya, damn straight you are.” She was looking down at the snap dragons, relieved when some of them started to spring back up, and then looked back at Otto.

“Say, you new here, kid? I have not seen your sickly mug around before.”

"Yes.." Otto mumbled, smoothing out his golem's puffy skirts with a sour face. "I've met quite a few... creeple already. School is kind of weird.." He had a limited supply of experiences for comparison. He'd never been to school, save for a couple months of High School. He found out quickly then how hard it was to fit in.

Idly tucking some hair behind his ear, he gave Hel another look. Oh wait... no... he hadn't really looked at her before because he'd been fallen over but.. This was the nutcracker! Ugh, he hated this girl! Such attitude, and totally unreasonable.

"Maybe I'll stay.. maybe I won't."

Well, luckily, the snap dragons were okay, and after all that coaxing, they were back up again. Hel lightly swatted them all away from her lest she leave with more bite marks today, and got up. She moved to another section of her very small test garden, looking back at the ghoul once more as she settled in front of a patch of very healthy roses. Roses that looks very normal to human stands. Hel examined the leaves, looking like she swallowed a bug.

“Oh ya?” She echoed, half paying attention. “Well, if you think it is weird, and you have not gone on a field trip yet, then you are probably in the wrong place….” The reaper then shrugged. “Up to you. This is the best school around, yanno? But if you are thinking about pussying out already, that is not my concern…”

While Hel was idly chatting at him…Otto may or may not have realized that there was blood starting to dribble on him. If he looked for the source, he’d find, above him, a line of flowers called Bleeding Hearts…except in Halloween…they literally bled.

Man, she wasn't any nicer to a fellow Halloween-Kid than she was to him as a hunter. Just less beard slaps and nut-kicks. The teen boiled in anger, wishing he could smack that face off her head with his boomerang. However, a cold, horridly liquid feeling dripped upon his arm, then his neck. Looking up, hollowed sockets widened at the sight.

Blood.

Otto shrieked as he discovered the source of the bleeding, flinging his body away and scurrying backward until he bumped into Hel.

Hel was looking over the healthy roses before she turned her head at the shriek…and well, just in time to get bumped into by the ghoul.

The reaper swayed, but luckily kept upright, and cast a look down at the ghoul. “What? Never seen Bleeding Hearts before?” She asked, her tone incredulous. “They are supposed to be gushing a lot more, yanno…” Here, Hel made another sour face. “They are supposed to be shriveled and aching and writhing and raining blood…” She paused, before she exploded. “But I take care of them too well! UGH!”

Otto's golem slowly looked up at Hel as she explained the health of the flowers. Why would she WANT flowers that ached despair!? It left him confused at the backwards way things worked in Halloween. It as a world so beyond him. It was alien. Tenya didn't seem bothered. All of this was normal to her somehow, even if she didn't recall personal memories.

"Try smothering them with a blanket or telling them they're mothers abandoned them at birth?"

At Otto’s suggestion, Hel seemed to be seriously considering it. She stroked her chin in thought, her eyes narrowed at the Bleeding Hearts. After a moment she said: “Ya…I suppose I will try that!” She then looked back down at the ghoul.

“Do you garden as well?” Because that had been rather sound advice, in Hel’s opinion.

"I... no. I've never done it before."

What business did a brat like him have in a garden? They never struck his fancy. They were just things that took up space in the background. The fact it took people to make them pretty was only made aware of from watching his parents mind the garden at their home.
